Across the territories governed by the Starfall Covenant, power is measured through a structured cultivation hierarchy that has guided warriors for centuries. These stages represent the gradual evolution of a warrior's body, spirit, and connection to universal energy.
Although the Covenant governs dozens of planets within the Milky Way, it is widely understood among high-ranking scholars that the galaxy itself is only a tiny fragment of the greater universe. Many mysteries remain beyond the Covenant's reach, and the true limits of cultivation are still unknown.
What follows is the official cultivation system recognized by the Starfall Covenant.
1. Awakening Realm (Stage 1–7)
The Awakening Realm is the first step toward becoming a cultivator. At this stage, individuals awaken their dormant life energy and begin sensing the natural forces that exist within their bodies and surroundings.
During the seven stages of Awakening, the cultivator gradually opens internal energy nodes, allowing energy to circulate through their body. Their physical strength, reflexes, and senses improve significantly, though they remain far from true warriors.
Only after reaching Awakening Stage 7 can a cultivator begin absorbing external energy.
2. Energy Gatherer Realm (Stage 1–7)
Energy Gatherers learn how to draw energy from their environment and store it within their bodies. Their energy core begins to form during this stage.
Cultivators at this level strengthen their bodies by refining absorbed energy, improving durability and combat ability. By Stage 7, their internal energy reserves become stable enough to flow continuously through their meridians.
3. Spirit Channel Realm (Stage 1–7)
At the Spirit Channel Realm, cultivators open specialized pathways known as spirit channels that allow energy to move freely throughout their bodies.
These channels enable warriors to release energy techniques, reinforce weapons, and defend against energy-based attacks. By Stage 7, a cultivator achieves full spiritual circulation and prepares for the major transformation that follows.
4. Beast Binder Realm (Stage 1–9)
The Beast Binder Realm marks one of the most important milestones in a warrior's life.
At this stage, cultivators of the Starfall Covenant gain the ability to perform the Ethereal Beast Contract, a unique technique developed by one of the Heroes of Earth. Through this ritual, a warrior forms a lifelong bond with a single beast that exists in a mysterious separate dimension.
Once the contract is formed, the beast becomes permanently linked to the warrior's soul. The two share energy, strength, and instincts during combat. However, this bond can only be formed once in a warrior's lifetime.
It is important to note that this method differs greatly from the practices of the outer universe, where warriors often kill powerful beasts and absorb their energy directly.
Within the Starfall Covenant's territory, such methods are unknown. Instead, the Covenant's warriors rely entirely on the sacred Ethereal Beast Contract.
As Beast Binders progress through the nine stages, their synchronization with their contracted beast deepens, allowing them to unleash increasingly powerful techniques.
5. Beast Master Realm (Stage 1–9)
Beast Masters represent the complete mastery of the beast contract.
At this stage, the warrior and their contracted beast operate almost as a single entity. Their energies merge seamlessly during combat, enabling powerful combined techniques.
A high-level Beast Master can channel their beast's abilities into devastating attacks capable of overwhelming most opponents within planetary arenas.
6. Sky Walker Realm (Stage 1–9)
Sky Walkers gain the ability to overcome gravity and move freely through the air.
Their bodies become lighter and more refined, allowing them to travel across vast distances. Combat at this stage often takes place in three dimensions, making aerial combat a key skill.
7. Star Warrior Realm (Stage 1–9)
Star Warriors begin drawing power from celestial bodies.
Their techniques carry traces of stellar energy, allowing them to unleash attacks far stronger than those of earlier realms. Their presence alone can dominate battlefields.
8. Planet Guardian Realm (Stage 1–9)
Planet Guardians possess strength capable of defending entire worlds.
Their energy reserves grow massive, and they can manipulate environmental forces such as storms, gravity fields, and tectonic shifts during battle.
Within the Starfall Covenant, warriors at this stage are often assigned as defenders of strategic planets.
9. Planet Master Realm (Stage 1–9)
Planet Masters surpass guardianship and gain deeper synchronization with planetary cores.
Their control over planetary energy allows them to reshape terrain and influence massive environments during combat.
10. Planet King Realm (Stage 1–9)
Planet Kings stand at the pinnacle of planetary power.
Their aura alone can suppress weaker cultivators. Battles between Planet Kings can devastate continents and alter entire ecosystems.
11. Stellar Lord Realm (Stage 1–9)
Stellar Lords have transcended planetary limitations.
Their power allows them to manipulate energy on the scale of entire star systems. Within the Starfall Covenant, they often serve as high-ranking commanders.
12. Galaxy Lord Realm (Stage 1–9)
Galaxy Lords are among the strongest warriors currently recognized by the Covenant.
Their abilities allow them to manipulate massive cosmic forces, including gravity fields and stellar energy across vast distances.
However, ancient records hint that in the deep universe, warriors at this level may still be considered relatively minor powers.
13. Void Monarch Realm (Stage 1–9)
Void Monarchs are cultivators who have begun mastering the mysterious energy that exists between stars and galaxies.
This energy, known as Void Energy, grants them the ability to travel immense distances through space and unleash devastating cosmic techniques.
Among all known realms, Void Monarchs are believed to be the first stage where warriors can truly survive prolonged journeys into the deeper regions of the universe.
14. Cosmic Emperor Realm (Stage 1–9)
Cosmic Emperors are legendary figures whose power transcends nearly all known warriors within the Starfall Covenant.
It is said that upon reaching this stage, a cultivator's body becomes immortal, no longer aging with time. Their control over cosmic energy allows them to reshape star systems and command immense forces.
Very few individuals in recorded history have ever achieved this level.
15. Universal Sovereign Realm
Beyond the Cosmic Emperor lies the mysterious Universal Sovereign Realm.
Cultivators who reach this level begin to interact directly with the fundamental laws that govern the universe itself. Their influence can extend across galaxies and possibly beyond.
However, even this realm is not the final stage of cultivation.
Ancient fragments of knowledge suggest that five additional realms exist beyond the Universal Sovereign, though their names and true nature remain unknown.
As the story of Voidborn unfolds, these higher mysteries may one day be revealed.
