WHO IS A BEAST MASTER?
Beast Masters are warriors, warriors who are able to channel and use the invisible energy around them, spirit energy, to enhance and strengthen their bodies.
One can only become a beast master after their awakening.
When a child is born, they subconsciously absorb the spiritual energy around them, and at the age of ten, an awakening occurs.
Their beasts within are stared and unleashed.
Sometimes a child could awaken at the age of eleven, twelve or thirteen, even at late stages of fifteen, but those are the rarest of cases. Some don't even awaken at all.
But not all children with an awakening can become a beast master.
Most inner beast are too weak, unfit and small to be used for beast masters.
A beast master's strength deepens on the spirit beasts they have, it's gives them the potential to grow stronger and evolve in rank.

Wilfred paused, then took a drink from the water pouch next to him.
"I think I ate too much meat"
He laughed.
The kids stared at him dumbfounded.
There were lots of rooms and spaces in the fortress, yet somehow they found themselves here, camping outside like they had been doing since they left the village.
A campfire in the middle and stakes being roasted.
"Well don't stop, continue"
Lan said.
"What are the stages of a beast master and how can attain them"
Bryon added.
"You kids love a good story don't you"
Wilfred chuckled
"Well, it begins with a single core. There are three dantians in the body, the upper dantian which is your head, where the brain is, the center of the mind. The second one is the middle dantian which is the heart. The third one is the stomach which is the lower dantian, and it's where your spirit energy stores and flows from."
"Ohh, no wonder it feels like I wanna throw up whenever I use spirit energy"
Lan said
Bryon laughed.
Billy frowned. He picked up a meat and threw it at Lan's head.
"Ouch"
"Don't distract him stupid "
He rolled his eyes "
"Anyway,"
Wifred continued
"We cultivate by circulating and compressing the spirit energy into our lower dantian to form a core, know as spirit cores"
"Wait, just like danger beasts?"
Billy asked
"Exactly, danger beasts follows a similar evolution, but different in a way"
Wifred nodded.
"Now you're the one distracting"
Lan mumbled.
"Before a beast master can evolve to the next stage, he is to form five spirit cores. Then with intense concentration and control, the five cores are fused together and a new core entirely is formed. It's called a Ringed core because it has a ring around. And when the ringed core is formed, a beast master evolves to the next stage. And trust me, it's a very painful process. When a Ringed core is formed, the level of power defers from the former, the body has to adjust to the new power and energy, so the body breaks and rebuild.
And after that , you'll be amazed at the kind of strength you've received.".
Sylver raised a brow, remembering a certain someone
"That's why some beast masters are more stronger than others"
Wifred added, taking another bite of his meat.
"Then after a Ringed core is formed, the process repeats itself till another ringed core is form, making two ringed core, therefore evolving to the next stage "
"So what are the stages "
Billy asked.
"The first stage of a beast master is the Beast Cub stage. You automatically enter the first stage when you form your first spirit core "
"So all we gotta do is continue to form our spirit core and then the ringed core and repeat the process over and over till we get stronger. Sounds easy"
Lan smiled.
Barron suddenly burst into a wild laughter
"Brats!!"
Wifred chuckled.
"It's not as easy as you think. The process becomes difficult as you grow, very difficult"
Lan frowned
"More work"
"Quit complaining already"
Billy snapped at him.
"Actually, "
Wifred smiled
"Lan already have his first spirit core, making him a One star Beast Cub"
"Wait really!"
He beamed.
"What about me?
Billy asked
"You and Bryon have no spirit core yet"
Billy's eyes widen.
"Ha, heard that Billy, I'm stronger than you"
Lan smirked.
Billy shot him a dark glare, then turned to face Sylver who sat quietly as usual at the side.
"What about her?
He asked
"Surprisingly, Slyver has three spirit cores"
Wifred said.
The boys eyes widen.
"She's a Three star Beast Cub "
He added.
"How is that possible?
Bryon asked.
Wifred shrugged
"Forming a core takes time. For her to have three, it's an epic feat if I may say. Maybe she was touched by the gods "
He chuckled, then turned to face her.
"Hey Sylver, when did you awaken?"
He asked.
The boys ears suddenly peaked then they threw subtle glances at her.
Sylver looked at them then rolled her eyes.
"When I turned ten, two years ago"
Her voice echoed in their ears, tiny, yet cute.
"Oh my goodness, she speaks "
Lan whispered.
"I heard dimwit"
Billy scoffed.
Sylver rolled her eyes again
"After my awakening, someone thought me energy circulation and before I knew it, I formed my first core, till now"
"Energy circulation is the basics and very important to help in smooth flow. I wonder who thought you?"
Wifred said.
"It was Roman"
She replied.
Billy frown deepened.
"That twerp"
He scoffed.
Sylver settled a dark gaze upon him.
Lan and Bryon shifted away from him.
"What!
Billy snapped.
"You still haven't figured it out yet"
Bryon shook his head.
"Even I realized it a while ago "
Lan added.
"Figured what out?"
He asked
Bryon let out a sigh
"Roman and Sylver are best friends"
Billy's eyes widen, then it dawned on him, the main reason she smacked him when they first left the village.
"If you call him a twerp one more time, I will make your next five years he'll"
Sylver said slowly and he felt chills running through him.
Barron let out another laugh.
"Threatened by a little girl, I like her"
"Ohh, so that's his name. The red hair kid who you fought with back then"
Wifred smiled
"That kid was really skilled, trust me, he already had one core and was close to forming the second one. He would have defeated you if you hadn't used your spirit beast"
"Wait, he already had one core? But no spirit beast yet . Is that possible?"
Bryon asked.
"Of course it is. For people who doesn't posess spirit beast, they are able to use spirit energy and have spirit cores. But when they form the fifth core, that's it, they can't go any further or evolve. They'll be stuck as a five star Beast Cub, and if they try to fuse them, the process will kill them instantly "
Wifred explained.
"What about the other stages?
Lan asked.
"I'm glad you asked"
He smiled.
