Chapter 27 THE ROOMMATES
Some time later, sir Zach gave a short speech, congratulating them for entering Avalon academy. Yet warned them not to get comfortable, the journey will get harder from here.
After showing them the direction of their dorm rooms, he left them to their own devices.
The new students suddenly began to socialize amongst them, some were hoping to make you friends, some with the idea of making connections_ mostly with the stronger and impressive looking ones.
Some smart ones tried to so socialize with Anya, but strangely, she was nowhere to be seen.
Some eyes landed on Roman and Lunar, but the oppressing gaze from the red squirrel made them think twice.
"Let me know if you want some advice with any ladies"
Lunar smiled with arms folded.
Roman glared at him before looking away.
"Sure, I'll love some advice from the lady except who's seeing a girl for the first time in his life today"
He was sarcastic.
His eyes landed on Sylver, who was also staring at him.
He smiled and waved.
Sylver suddenly disappeared.
"Hey, where'd she go?"
Sarah looked around her.
"Whoaa.."
Roman almost fell as he felt Sylver's weight on him, but he caught her in his arms in an embrace.
Lunar's eyes almost plunged out.
"So much for me giving advice"
Fury looked at him and nodded.
"Look at you"
Roman chuckled as they separated.
"I always say that you'll grow tall, now you're just as tall as me"
Sylver laughed.
"I've missed you Roman"
"Same here Sylver. Also told you I'll make it to Avalon, I never thought we'll arrived on the same day "
"And you even made an entrance. You've grown stronger, and what's up with the lightning, where did that come from?"
She asked.
"Well I got strucked by lightning, it wasn't pleasant one bit.."
Sylver's eyes widen
"I need to hear all about that endeavor"
Lunar suddenly cleared his throat causing Roman to face him.
"Oh, right, sorry. Sylver, this is Lunar, we trained together for past five years"
Roman introduced.
Sylver faced him.
"Any friend of Roman is a friend of mine, and a strong one at that "
She offered a handshake.
"Roman and I brothers, he's also my rival"
He shook her hand.
"Plus, he talks about you a lot "
Fury squealed and tapped Roman's head.
"Right, this is Fury, he's a danger beast, but a lot different from the one we encounter"
"He's a cute one, I like it's sense of humor "
She rubbed it's cheeks.
From afar, Lan, Bryon and Billy stared at Sylver dumbfounded.
"Guys, I've just seen Sylver smile, laugh and talk in one day. Pinch me I must be dreaming"
Lan whispered.
Carl looked at them.
"Doesn't she always smile"
He asked.
"We have been training together for five years, and she barely speak. It's that serious dude "
Bryon said.
Billy glaced at Roman and walked away.
"I'm gonna go find my dorm "
He said.
"Great idea, let's go"
Carl added.
"I'll catch you later "
Sarah said and she walked towards Sylver.
Carl, Lan and Bryon trailed after Billy.
Sarah caught up with them.
"Hi there, I'm Sarah. I'm with sticking Sylver"
She waved at them.
Sylver rolled her eyes.
"I met her earlier today, she cool though "
"Oh I remember her"
Lunar smiled as he shook her arms
"I love cats"
He winked, and she blushed.
"Sylver is not the type to make friends easily. So treat her, well, or she'll bury you"
Roman said which earned a laugh from Sarah.
"Noted boss"
She said
"Alright, we have a lot of catching up to do, so let's go look for our dorms first"
Roman said.
They nodded and left

The castle had multiple numbers of keeps with tall spires.
Castle Keeps are buildings with the castle compound.
After following the directions given to them, they arrived at one of the keep with double large doors where they spotted a knight, leaning on the marble walls.
The knight looked at them with a frown.
"First years are always trouble"
He muttered
"The girls dorm is that way"
The knight pointed.
Roman looked at Sylver and nodded.
Sylver along with Sarah.
Roman and Lunar walked towards the door and pushed it open.
They entered a vast hall.
At the left was an attendant who sat behind a desk, lazily playing with a dagger.
They walked towards the desk.
The attendant reached his hands under the desk and brought out two tags. He dropped it on the desk and pointed.
"Climb up the stairs case and looked for the door that has the same number on the tags. Good day"
The attendant said without bothering look at them once.
They took the tags and advanced forward.
A large staircase sat at the of the hall.
They climbed up reaching the next floor and was surprised to see a number of doors lined up on both sides.
They located their number at the end of the hall.
Luckily they both got the same number.
Pushing the handle, they stepped into the room.
The room was big and well decorated. It had a door like window and a balcony at the end. A bathroom at the side, and a dressing room at the other.
"It's a nice room if I may say "
Lunar nodded.
Fury squeaked as he jumped of Roman's shoulder to explore the new room.
There were four beds on both sides, each on a bunk, and two other boys were already in.
They turned to see the new people who had entered.
One of the boys eyes widen.
"Whoa.. it's the Irregular"
He pointed at Roman.
"The what?"
Roman raised a brow.
The two boys jumped off the bed and rushed towards them.
"I feel so lucky to be sharing a room with you guys"
"Yeah you guys are cool"
Roman blinked multiple times
"You guys are twins"
Lunar said.
The two boys nodded. Indeed they were.
"I'm seeing so many new things today"
Lunar smiled.
Zain and Zed were small in size, but their athletic figure betrayed any signs of weakness.
They both shared the same face, cute with dimples on their cheeks and similar spikey red hair.
Their only difference was their eyes, Zain had red eyes, while Zed had blue.
They were both two star Nobles.
"Yeah we are, I'm Zain "
"And I'm Zed"
Roman smiled.
"This should be fun"
"Is it really true, you don't have a spirit beast"
Zed asked.
"Yeah, though its just for now. I'm confident it will awaken soon "
Roman said as he walked towards bed and sat on the top bunk.
"Soft"
Fury rushed from the side and sat on his laps.
"Thats a cute squirrel"
Zain said, walking over.
Fury squeaked and looked at him.
"He's name's Fury, he can be sensitive at times"
"HELL....No way...."
Lunars voice caught their attention.
He was standing in front of the dressing room which was already stocked with clothes.
"I am not wearing any of this!!!!"
The bang the door shut.
"This castle ain't got style "
He humped.
"Roman shook his head.
"Well if you want we can take you to go get some things at the city. We grew up in the middle district, so we know our way around "
Zed offered.
"Please do "
Lunar dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out a purple ring. It was a storage ring.
"Hey, don't tell me you stole that from Sir Derrick"
Roman frowned
"Relax, Dad has multiple storage rings, he won't even know this one is missing "
Lunar smiled
"So are you coming?"
Roman jumped off the bed.
"I wanted to explore anyway. Let's find Sylver first though "
"You read my mind, I'm interested in that cat girl "
Lunar replied as they left the room.

Sylver and Sarah got the same number, so they get the same room.
Sarah opened the door and they stepped in.
"Hmmm not bad"
Sarah said
"What do you think?"
Sylver stared at the beautiful furnished room with four beds, two on both sides.
She took in the sight and nodded.
Back at the village, her cottage was small and cozy, then spent the next five years in an abandoned castle in a forest.
There was girl lying on one of the beds. She opened her eyes upon hearing movements.
"Heyy there"
The girls smiled and climbed of the bed.
She was averaged with a pretty smile and short blue hair. She wore a simple gown, already making herself feel at home.
"I remember you guys from the trials. You're quite strong. Guess we'll be roommates. I'm Erica by the way "
Sarah waved
"I'm Sarah, she's Sylver"
Sylver nodded, still scanning the room.
She walked towards a bed and sat on it.
Soft
Sylver had never had any friends back at the village. Before Roman, a lot of kids her age avoided her cause they assumed she was weird.
Later on, she spent five years in a forest stuck with three boys and three grown men.
Now finally meeting her fellow girls and sharing a room with three others, she felt a strange flow of comfort.
Her eyes glowed.
"It's perfect"
Sylver said.
"Based on your reactions, I bet you're not used to fancy places."
Erica smiled.
"Nope. I grew up in a small town and spent the last five years training in a forest"
Sylver shrugged.
Sarah and Erica stared at her with a dumbfounded expression.
"No wonder you're so strong"
Sarah said.
Sylver pointed at the last bed
"Where's the fourth girl?"
"She's not here yet, not everyone is in a hurry to move into a dorm room with strangers"
Erica said.
"Fair enough"
"Ummm guys?"
Erica called pointing at the window.
"Is that a squirrel?"
They turned to the window to see a red furry squirrel with two long fangs sticking from it mouth.
Fury squealed as he tapped on the glass, then waved.
Sylver smiled.
"It's Roman. Come on "
She walked out of the room and Sarah followed behind after waving at Erica.
"We'll be right back...."
Erica nodded as she jumped back to the bed, with a book in her hand.
