Chapter 35 THE SPIRIT BEAST WORLD
Miss Amy climb up the platform and face the students.
"That was an amazing display of skills and strength "
She smiled.
Her body glowed with blue aura and a strange wave of energy flowed out of her body and filled the hall.
"Whoa.."
Lan gasped as he felt something wash over his body and his injuries healed before his eyes.
Even Max who had a look of discomfort suddenly relaxed.
The specks of blood on the platform evaporated into the air.
"That's better"
She said.
"I'm my class, I allow fights. As long as you're in the academy, competition is a number one factor wether you realize it or not. Thats how you grow and push pass your limits. I will only step in if things gets too extreme."
Miss Amy explained as she sat down.
Sylver glanced at Roman with a worried look.
She knew Roman can be hot headed at times, but this one was entirely different.
"It's okay"
Lunar assured.
"Let him cool of a while"
Fury squeaked on her laps and she rubbed his head.
Anya had different thoughts.
She reminisced the fight in her head.
Lan had copied her skill, but he's version was robot like and stuffed.
But Roman displayed flawless skills and grace. He's attacks were calculated, controlled and flexible, with Intent.
Not everyone could fight in such way.
She was even a combat master herself, proficient in multiple weapons and skills, but she still felt like she was missing something.
She turned her head towards him with a new light.
Billy was more conflicted than usual.
"How is he so strong"
He thought.
He folded and unfolded his hands without realizing it .
"I will not accept it. He's till a twerp"
He muttered.
Bryon glanced at him and let out a chuckle.
Carl looked at them.
"You guys sure had an history"
"Yep"
Bryon nodded.
"Alright class, we begin how first lesson"
Miss Amy began
"As you already know, I'll be taking you on Spirit Beast and then combat. But today, we focus on Spirit Beasts"
She paused, then looked at the class.
"Tell me, what do you know about Spirit beasts"
"They are powerful creatures that leaves inside of us"
A student said
"Yes, anyone else?"
"Appear after our awakening"
Another said.
"What do you know about Awakening?"
Miss Amy threw the question.
It suddenly dawned on the class, where does spirit beast come from.
"They came from the Spirit world to our world due to the presence of the spirit energy around us"
Anya suddenly said.
The class turned to face her .
"What!"
She snapped and they turned back to the teacher.
"The academy has a giant library, at the back, you won't die if you study "
She rolled.
"You're being chatty today "
Sylver whispered
They were sitting side by side.
Anya shrugged.
"That's correct. Now listen up"
Miss Amy said.
"A thousand years ago, humans experienced what was called The Awakening.
Multiple rifts opened up in divers locations and influx of spirit energy poured out of it.
The rift destroyed cities and towns, claiming countless in the process.
After years of recovery, man discovered the use for this strange energy and it was named Spirit energy.
The first generation Beast Masters appeared, being abled cultivate and manipulate spirit energy, but they were not called Beast Masters then.
They could use spirit energy, yes, but the emergence of Spirit Beasts had not occurred yet...so we can say they were the first Irregulars."
Miss Amy chuckled as she pointed at Roman in the distance.
The whole class turned their head towards Roman, who sat down with legs folded and eyes closed.
Roman felt their annoying gaze.
Red lightning suddenly sparked through his head and the class quickly faced the teacher.
Lunar chuckled.
Miss Amy was surprised.
"He's even an elemental. You really are an interesting young man "
She faced the class.
"During the first era, the forming of spirit cores was seen as a breakthrough. Strength increases reflex and speed, but after forming five spirit cores, it ends there, it became a bottleneck, so they thought that was the Pinnacle of power dey could engage."
She glanced at Roman once more, then continued
"Every thing changed when the spirit beasts arrived on earth. Spirit Beasts are drawn by the spirit energy, and our world now possessed influx of it.
The Spirit Beasts formed contract with the first Irregulars, and that when the first Ringed core was formed. Because of the Spirit Beasts contract, the evolution of power became almost endless, and they were known as Beast Masters.
We all know the stages of a Beast Master:
[ ] Beast Cub: one to five spirit core.
[ ] Beast Noble: one ringed cores.
[ ] Beast Knight: two ringed cores.
[ ] Beast Ascension: three ringed cores.
[ ] Beast Transcendence: four ringed cores.
[ ] Demi-god: five ringed cores
[ ] Celestial: infinity core - fusion of the five ringed cores
We don't know if there's a stage after"
Miss Amy paused for a while
"Based on our current knowledge, we've only had one Celestial stage beast master, but he disappeared with no trace.
But let's leave that.
Years later, children of ten years old began to awakened, this kicked of the second generation of Beast Masters, and thats how it has been till now. Though most kids awakened between eleven twelve and thirteen, rarely fourteen.
I myself awakened at thirteen"
Miss Amy smiled then turned to face Roman.
"How old are you if you don't mind me asking, Irregular?"
Roman opened his eyes, he seems to have calmed down a little after hearing Miss Amy's story.
"Fifteen "
Roman shrugged.
"As expected "
Miss Amy nodded.
"And how did you surpassed the Cub stage and even climb up to four star Noble?"
The class were quite intrigued to hear what he had to say.
Roman thought for a while, staring into space.
Lunar let out a chuckle as some not too distant memories surfaced.
Roman looked at him and couldn't help but laugh
"Let's just say I had a crazy Master "
He chuckled.
"Hey, that's my dad youno"
Lunar said while laughing.
"He literally fed us to a pack of danger beasts"
Roman added, and they both burst in laughter.
The whole class watched them in amusement.
"Wasn't he just angry?.."
Someone whispered.
Sylver looked at Roman and smiled.
Anya rolled her eyes.
