Geretta inwardly groaned, but he did not dare make the slightest move.
Roy took back the lottery slip and said slowly,
"Do you want to lose your qualification for the exam right now?"
Hearing Roy's words, Geretta's body trembled.
He did not hesitate any longer. He immediately pulled out his number tag from his pocket and threw it to Roy.
"Smart choice."
Roy took the number tag and praised him in an indifferent tone.
Almost every examinee was thinking the same thing in silence.
Thank goodness this person's target wasn't me.
Then they looked at Geretta with pity. He had only just come ashore, and his number tag had already been taken.
Roy held the tag between two fingers and gave it a casual flick before slipping it into his pocket with incredible speed. To the other examinees, it looked as if the tag had vanished into thin air.
After putting away the number tag, Roy walked toward the shore, where the ship was docked.
When Geretta saw that Roy was no longer paying attention to him, he let out a breath and immediately sprinted off in a certain direction.
He did not regret his choice. He knew that meaningless resistance would only cost him his life.
He was still unwilling to accept it, but that was better than dying.
Right now, his top priority was to hunt down his target first, then find any three examinees he could.
Geretta's figure moved swiftly through the forest.
At the coast, when the examinees saw Roy walking toward them, they all subconsciously took a step back, their faces full of vigilance, mixed with a trace of fear.
They had heard that the Hunter Exam was never short of utterly deranged participants. If this monstrously strong man decided to block the ship in some insane move, then everyone would be finished.
Lippo was also somewhat worried that this might happen, but it was within the rules, so he could not interfere.
And besides, that blonde, blue-eyed beauty standing near him still had not hunted down her target yet.
One had to know that the aura that beauty had released back on Battleship Island had also been terrifying to the extreme.
Under everyone's watchful gaze, Roy sat down cross-legged on the ground near the ship.
This was the gathering point for seven days later. Since he had already secured six points, all he had to do now was wait here.
As for Android 18, she remained where she was.
Once they saw that Roy was not making any further move, both the examinees and the examiner secretly let out sighs of relief.
Soon after, the next examinee came ashore. Seeing that neither Roy nor Android 18 was paying attention to him, he immediately bolted into the forest, afraid of ending up like Geretta.
Time passed, until the twentieth examinee. The eldest of the Amori Brothers saw that nothing dangerous seemed to be happening, so he leisurely walked off the ship with a carefree attitude.
But when the next examinee, the second brother Imori, stepped ashore, Android 18 suddenly appeared in front of him and blocked his path.
At once, all the remaining examinees understood.
He was Android 18's prey.
Imori on the shore, along with the other two Amori Brothers still on the ship, all had extremely ugly expressions.
"Are you going to hand me your number tag yourself, or do I have to kill you and search your body for it?"
Android 18's cold voice rang out, directly cutting off Imori's last bit of hope.
Imori's face twisted in struggle for a long while. Just as Android 18 was starting to lose patience, he finally made his choice.
A very wrong choice.
He threw a card at Android 18. It was the lottery slip from earlier.
Then, the moment he threw it, he kicked off hard and sprinted off to the side.
"Idiotic."
Roy, watching from the side, shook his head.
Android 18 naturally was not fooled by such a cheap trick. With a single flash, she instantly appeared behind the fleeing Imori.
"Watch out, big brother!"
Amori, still on the ship, immediately turned pale and shouted frantically.
Bang!
With one move, Imori dropped to the ground, unconscious, dead or alive unknown.
"Big brother!"
Amori rushed out at once.
Bang!
Yet he flew back even faster than when he had charged out. Amori was sent flying and crashed heavily back onto the ship.
"It's not your time to disembark yet. Please follow the rules set by the examiner."
Roy withdrew his fist and said flatly,
"This is the Hunter Exam. Since you chose to take part, you should have made the proper resolve. If you haven't even made that much resolve, then you should go back to wherever you came from as soon as possible."
Amori collapsed on the deck and coughed up a mouthful of blood.
Roy had still held back. He had not intended to kill him.
The remaining examinees still on the ship all fell silent after hearing Roy's words.
Over there, Android 18 had already searched Imori's body and found his number tag. The two of them then sat down by the shore once more.
After a while, Amori, with blood still at the corner of his mouth, came ashore. He first ran over to the fallen Imori, checked him over, and finally let out a sigh of relief.
Clearly, Android 18 had also held back. But as punishment, Imori was not going to wake up at all during this next week.
His Hunter Exam ended here.
