The hazy fog of Backlund was there as always, in a bustling street of East borough, there was a middle aged begger who was slowly walking like a madman and constantly shouting some phrases.

Few steps beside him was a young 19 years old boy, his eyebrows were slightly slim while his eyes where light blue like clear water stream, he had a rather handsome face with a sharp nose which was hidden beneath a cloth wrapped around his face, his shoulder length hair swaying in the thick foggy air of Backlund, his built was like of an athlete with a good muscular body which was not too thin nor too thick. He was tailing the beggar while constantly keeping his eyes on the surrounding. Of course he was none other than Phillip Spearson.
Oh! So the mental burden has taken a tool on him, such a pitiful guy. He's really a lunatic now, but I don't think he's with the Aurora Order but still I have to be vigilant of those madmen. Hmm I've purchased a short axe but with his high spirituality, he should be able to survive if I sneaked him. Heh, I was a commando in my previous like so I know how to free this pained soul. Wel... Constantly analyzing the surrounding, I tailed that begger for two hours before he came to a halt and kneeled in front of a wall, then he started screaming like a maniac in pain, constantly banging his head on a trash box beside him. I waited for a few more minutes before taking a detour of the area while staying in the din areas, I don't know why but I had the feeling that this is the best opportunity to get the characteristics.
I waited a few steps away from him and when his screaming and crying stopped, I came a little closer to him and aimed my axe on a box of trash beside him before throwing it with full force before running to side wall with all my speed and hitting it with my leg for the force to jump of the opposite side of my running route.

The sound of the box getting hit reverberated in the dim alley and the beggar instantly turned his head towards the sound in panick and saw an axe attached on the trash box, but this was his the last scene he saw before his death because as soon as he turned his head towards the box, a figure jumped on him instantly grabbing his neck in a deadlock before snapping it.
CRACK!!!
The pitiful begger lost all his vitality Instantly and fell towards the ground while Phillip beside him retrieved the the axe and Crouched down on the ground to check the begger's pulse, he was dead.
Sigh. It's not like I love killing people but this guy life is worse than death so I freed this soul in pain and got a beyonder characteristic In exchange. But the coincidence of me finding this guy is rather absurd, please tell me it's because of the heaven defying cheat I have that this level of convergence is happening with me because of the thing connected to The Hanged Man pathway inside my heart.
I waited for a few minutes while pondering on what to do with this guy's corpse and trying to retrieve the characteristics before the beyonder characteristic got into my view. A dark and distorted semi-illusory black lip that seems to emit whispers, it seems to contaain a very faint aura of degeneration.
I was nervous because I had a lingering fear of this pathway's beyonder characteristic, what if they're tainted by their god's rap album's corruption. But my heart started to send me signal of retrieving it, so I touched the characteristics. As soon a it got into my hands, the black heart started to glow a bit before dimming and releasing a faint mist. I instantly recognised that the corruption in it was of very low level and it had been dealt with by my 'cheat'.
I stored it inside a cloth back I just bought a few minutes before entering the alley and stored the corpse inside a long black bag before clearing all the signs of murder from the spot.
I dragged the corpse bag towards another din alley where I've seen another big box of trash where I stored the corpse inside carefully and scattered a few fire prone materials I bought while buying the bag. After chanting a few funeral related chants, I Iit a few matchsticks and threw it on the tarsh can. Then I slowly retreated while keeping full vigilance.
After passing through a few alleys with no people, I came out and walked a few hundred metres in a street with not that people around. Beside me, some people have already noticed a fire and were trying to extinguish it.
Heh... The corpse should've been completely burned to ashes by now. Afterall, I know which materials catch fire and I'm proficient in these kind of things. But the main thing now is to get the supplementary ingredients and drink the potion as soon as possible. And..... Just what kind of cheat is this, I can't understand it's powers and functions.
