"I don't want too many people involved. Is there a way to drive out the unrelated ones?" I asked while observing the entire city from high up.
"Just drive them out then?"
"Can you actually do that?" I looked skeptical at every word Angra said.
"I can. Once the loop is created, it will only retain the targets I've designated—as long as I know about them, I can do it… unless someone I don't know about enters the loop."
"Who? Your girlfriend or something?"
"Master, where the hell did you read that I have a girlfriend?? I don't even have one!"
"Caren?"
"…"
This guy seems very sparing with words and dodges whenever it comes to talking about himself. Usually he just messes around to brush things off and never really shares anything meaningful.
"So that 'being busy' you mentioned was actually you observing and memorizing everything around you?"
"Yeah, I was hiding it because I wanted to give Master a little surprise~" Angra's voice turned cutesy and whiny, his eyes sparkling like an innocent girl.
Looking at it made my eyes itch.
"Whatever. Whenever Master decides, just tell me. Let's go home and rest already—the TV show I want to watch is waiting for me!"
I sighed, letting Angra casually drape his arm over my shoulder as we headed home.

The next day passed…
At school
"Hey, did you hear? They found a man passed out in the alley."
"Probably just some drunk guy again."
Luckily there weren't any big rumors spreading. Even though Angra gaining more power was beneficial, it wasn't really what I needed.
"That Mavus guy just dumped his new girlfriend again."
"He changes girlfriends like he changes shirts."
"I wish I could be like him…"
I raised an eyebrow slightly when I heard my class talking about this person named Mavus.
Honestly, I was quite curious—how does a playboy like him get admired by so many people? Is this an NTR world or something?
'…If a womanizer like him became a Master in a Holy Grail War, what would that be like?'
Finding the thought quite interesting, I immediately instructed Angra to go find him and mark him.
Oh, and by the way, Angra was currently lazing around on the rooftop of a nearby building.
'So that's one person. Six more to go.'
Time passed until school let out.
After that, I headed straight to the nearby convenience store and quickly went into the staff room to change.
Yes—this is where I earn money, and also where I get free lunch. My boss is actually pretty kind-hearted.
"You only just got here now? Do you know how many weirdos I had to deal with staring at me earlier?"
A girl walked in through the emergency exit door.
She had white hair and golden eyes. Her appearance gave off a somewhat cold vibe, but if you got close to her, she was actually pretty approachable.
Well… approachable doesn't mean her mouth is friendly.
"So?"
"I gouged their eyes out."
Yeah… not exactly approachable.
"Anything happen at school? Your face looks weird today."
"Weird? Did I do something strange?"
"Really? Because I've noticed you've been acting a bit off lately. Did some guy harass you or something?"
…Not exactly correct, but not entirely wrong either. Her observation skills are still as sharp as ever.
Suddenly it reminded me of the first time we met, about 2–3 years ago.
Honestly, the first time I saw her, I thought she was some cosplayer. Just imagine: a girl in black armor, holding a flag, with an extremely haggard and cold face—what would you say?
Me? I didn't say anything. I just saw she looked like she was burning up with fever, so I went over and asked if she was okay like any normal person would (real?).
Then she stared at me for a while… and passed out cold.
So I carried her home to let her rest.
The moment Grandpa saw her, he screamed, trembling with extreme excitement like a fanboy meeting his idol for the first time.
She rested at our house and woke up not long after.
And the moment she woke up, her true personality came out—irritated, terrifying. She even tried to punch me if I got too close.
That period was really, really tough. Every word out of her mouth was sarcasm, provocation, threats, and profanity.
Fortunately, her personality has softened somewhat now—probably because we let her stay and took good care of her.
"You're only buying this much? That broke?" She said to a customer, glaring at them with the most contemptuous look imaginable.
"C-Customer service?!" The customer, suddenly insulted and about to argue back, saw her pull out a handgun from under the counter and load bullets into it.
"Sister Jean, I think you're going a bit overboard."
"Overboard? This is already light. Normally I'd just burn them alive." Seeing the customer run away in terror (and leave extra money behind), she smirked and started counting the cash.
…Well, she's only gentle with me. With everyone else, she holds back nothing.
"Oh right, seems like France is having some kind of problem? Take out your phone, let me see!"
She also seems to particularly hate France for some reason, and the hatred is very intense.
Even though she's clearly French herself.
"You just thought something, didn't you?"
"Nope. I was just thinking you should buy your own phone."
"No way. I like using yours." She snatched my phone and started googling.
While she was at it, she also checked my browser history. Terrifying.
"Your history is completely empty? Don't you have a dick or something?" She looked bored and handed the phone back.
I took it back with a headache, dealing with her is genuinely difficult.
The moment I grabbed the phone, she suddenly gripped my hand tightly, startling me.
Then she forcefully turned my hand over.
Command Seals.
Her eyes widened. She looked at me.
"…What is it, sis?"
"…Nothing." She let go, her face returning to normal, and went back to work.
Seeing that, I broke into a cold sweat and continued working too.
Time passed. She didn't say a single word—just stayed completely silent, which made me extremely anxious.
Why was she acting like this? Did she actually know about Command Seals?
"…Um, sis?"
"What."
"…Why are you so quiet?"
She glared at me and said nothing.
That look definitely meant she was angry—but why? I was scared shitless!
Eventually our shift ended and we left the convenience store.
Jean didn't say anything. She just walked off in some direction and disappeared, leaving me completely confused.
…Could she really know something about Command Seals?
