I felt hands on me. A familiar song and dance if not for the amount. I counted two, three, four?
When my eyes opened, Kay filled my vision. Part of me wondered if the rapid metamorphosis of my feelings for Kay would stop these dreams. It hadn't.
Xavier's room must really be haunted.
"Pay attention to me," Kay's voice whined.
But the 'Kay' in front of me hadn't moved his lips. The extra hands I'd felt before moved, snaked around my sides and pulled me back. My head fell back onto the familiar shoulder behind me.
It was Kay, but wasn't at the same time.
The Kay in front of me was familiar, the confident, mature body I'd tangled with even in my waking hours. The Kay behind me was also familiar, but the familiarity came with a nostalgic tinge.
This was the 'Kay' I'd first fallen for.
