Just before Darren could respond, there was a knock on the bedroom door. I hurriedly excused myself to answer it.
I opened the door to find Moira outside with a breakfast tray and my clothes from yesterday. I stepped aside to let her in.
"Good morning My Lady, I trust that you had a wonderful night rest?" She smiled at me.
There was something about the way she smiles that pulls you in no matter the type of mood you are in and she does it so effortlessly too.
"Good morning ma'am. My night was wonderful thanks to all your help."
"You're scaring her, Moira." Darren commented, still typing away on his laptop. His voice held a teasing note that reflected through his eyes as he looked up at me to speak.
"Forgive her Kalia. She's not used to having a woman in the house so she's pretty much excited about everything." He was quick to add.
