Kiana turned to Asta beside her and said, "Asta, something very dangerous might happen next. Go hide somewhere safe."
Asta froze. "Then what about you?"
Kiana turned, her gaze settling on the approaching aura of destruction.
"Me?" She let out a light laugh as Judgement of Shamash condensed in her palm.
At her current level, there was no way she'd be afraid of someone like Xingxiao.
On the surface, she and Xingxiao were both Emanators of Destruction—technically colleagues.
But Kiana knew perfectly well what her own situation was.
As an employee without any official payroll status, she was obviously on the space station's side.
And just then, the vanguard of the Antimatter Legion arrived.
Countless Voidrangers launched their assault, and one Doomsday Beast had already reached the platform where Kiana stood.
"Watch out!" Asta cried.
But Kiana paid it no mind.
She simply lifted her right hand, then clenched it shut.
In that instant, the Herrscher of the Void's authority activated in full.
The bodies of the countless Voidrangers seemed to be seized by an invisible giant hand, their forms freezing in midair.

Its head—a grotesque fusion of machinery and flesh—lowered as it stared fixedly at the seemingly tiny human before it.
Its senses told it that this human carried the same source aura as itself—not the presence of an ordinary Pathstrider, but something even more primal, something belonging to Destruction at its very root.
But why?
Why was she attacking her own side?
The Doomsday Beast, possessing only the faintest scrap of intelligence, couldn't understand.
It opened its massive jaws, crimson light gathering deep in its throat, clearly preparing to launch another attack.
"Oh?" Kiana sounded mildly surprised.
As expected of a weekly boss—this Doomsday Beast did have some real value to it. It had actually managed to survive one of her full-power basic attacks.
But that was fine.
She still had an empowered basic attack.
In an instant, countless imaginary fissures opened behind Kiana.

Struck by the barrage of Subspace Lances, the Doomsday Beast died on the spot.
"Th-this..." Asta's eyes widened, and for a moment she couldn't find her voice.

That was the location designated by the Ravager God.
Xingxiao had immediately understood. As a Lord Ravager of Destruction, the reason the Ravager God had given her such a precise destination was likely because He wanted her to deliver Destruction there.
Of course, it was also possible He wanted her to kill Herta.
But regardless of which interpretation was correct, the current situation suited either one.
Xingxiao lifted her hand.
At once, great swathes of Voidrangers shaped by Harmony appeared again.
"Go. For the Ravager God, go and bring down Destruction."

Herta struck first.
With a wave of her hand, a bizarre, oddly shaped horn abruptly appeared on the battlefield.
It was one of Herta's Curios, and its sound had a distinctly suppressive effect on Harmony.
Xingxiao frowned slightly.
The sound waves produced by that horn really were interfering with her Harmony.
But as a Lord Ravager who had waged war across countless star systems, this level of restraint was nowhere near enough to throw her off balance.
"An interesting toy," Xingxiao said coolly, closing her right hand.
A massive force of Destruction formed into invisible pressure and instantly reached for the horn.
In response, Herta and Ruan Mei immediately brought out their own black-tech devices and layered defensive barriers over it.
After all, they were facing one of the deadliest Lord Ravagers alive. A Curio that countered Harmony was indispensable.
And yet, to their shock, even against the combined imaginary defenses built by two geniuses—
Xingxiao's attack shattered through them one layer after another, crushing the horn without mercy.
Something was seriously wrong with these stats.
Xingxiao looked like she was cheating.
