"This is so boring." he muttered, but still nothing. So Jeo didn't bother or acknowledge him.
Instead, another page was flipped open.
Seo Jin scoffed as he turned to the window, looking at the view until the sky became a little darker.
Eventually, the door opened again. The same nurse stepped in, holding a tray in hand.
Her eyes moved between them before settling on So Jeo.
"You need to rest now," she said.
But So Jeo, who knew his condition, knew that resting was out of the picture. "I'm fine," he said.
"You've said that so many times," she replied, walking closer.
Seo Jin glanced at her curiously, wondering what she was going to do, as it was obvious she was going to put him down again.
"Don't think of leaving or planning to work all through the night," she added, placing the tray down.
Seo Jin finally looked up, his expression colder. "You are already overstepping your boundary."
"I'm just doing my job."
A short pause, then…
"Whatever."
