Jay's POV
The next day, I went to the hospital with my dad.
Thanks to Kiefer, everything went smoothly. The doctor checked him properly.
After that, I decided to walk a little before going home.
As I was crossing the road, I saw something that made me stop.
A small child was crying near the roadside.
I quickly ran toward him.
"Hey, baby… what happened?" I asked softly.
"I can't find my grandma…" he cried.
"It's okay, don't cry," I said, wiping his tears.
I held his hand and started asking around.
After a few minutes, I saw an old woman walking slowly, looking worried.
"Grandma!" the child shouted and ran toward her.
The old lady hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, dear," she said to me with teary eyes.
"It's okay," I smiled.
"You have a very kind heart," she said before leaving.
I smiled and turned to walk away—
But suddenly, I felt someone watching me.
I looked up.
A tall man was standing there, his sharp eyes fixed on me.
He looked cold… dangerous… and powerful.
For a moment, I felt nervous.
He slowly walked toward me.
"You helped them," he said in a deep voice.
.
"Y-yes…" I replied softly.
He looked at me for a few seconds… as if studying me.
"You're different," he said.
"Huh?" I got confused.
"Most people would ignore them," he said.
I smiled slightly. "It was nothing."
He stepped closer.
"My name is Kaiser Watson."
My eyes widened.
Watson…?
Before I could say anything, he spoke again—
"You're Jay… right?"
I froze.
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
A small smirk appeared on his lips.
"I've heard about you."
Something about his gaze made my heart beat faster…
Not in love…
But in fear.
Because unlike Kiefer—
Kaiser Watson looked like someone who could destroy anyone without hesitation.
And somehow…
I felt like my life was about to get even more complicated.
