Chapter 3 - Chapter 2- A new prophecy

"He is my mate, from this moment on, he belongs to me". Alpha Draven announced in a cold tone. He felt his wolf let out an excited howl in the back of his head.

Even after saying those words and staring down at the Omega in his arms he still could not believe it. He had come here with little to no expectation but just a last effort before he gave up the decades of searching for his mate.

Now, standing and holding the small body of his mate everything was starting to worth it.

All gazes turned to Alpha Draven in shock, Wilson also turned around to face his A in surprise and realisation.

"You knew before we came here?" He exclaimed in an amazed whisper.

A snicker from Alpha Tyrone broke everyone out of their thoughts and he let out another loud laughter before finally calming down.

"That has to be a joke, he is a mere lowly Omega servant here—even lower than a normal Omega. How did he suddenly become your mate?" Alpha Tyrone asked.

He does not believe what Alpha Draven had said and to him the Alpha was lying to get the omega out of the pack since every pack was struggling with their omega population.

He moved forward again to get closer to Alpha Draven but Wilson put an arm in front of him.

"We are not here to fight". Wilson intercepted as he noticed the number of Alphas present, he wasn't worried because he was sure his Alpha can single handedly defeat all of them but it would be a hassle since he knew there was some sort of relation between Alpha Draven and Alpha Tyrone.

"What do you want in exchange for him". Alpha Draven finally spoke again.

Alpha Tyrone's eyes glinted up in excitement. He doesn't care about the Omega and the idea of getting something in exchange for the useless omega was a miracle.

"Give me five of your warriors in exchange for him". He stated proudly with his nose turned up at the Alpha.

Wilson smirked at the childish act of the young Alpha before him, even though they seemed to be about the same age he found him too immature.

Demanding for an Alpha's warrior is like asking for a death sentence on a golden platter.

"Alright". Alpha Draven replied without a second thought and turned to walk towards the car.

"Huh? Just like that?" One of the Alphas whispered in shock.

Alpha Tyrone could not believe how easy it was and he regretted immediately not asking for more than just five warriors but to him the Omega was plainly useless, hence a thought immediately came to his mind.

"Why don't you spend the night here? I will have the best room prepared for you Alpha Draven" He yelled after the Alpha's retreating figure.

"No, thank you". Wilson threw back at him and they all got back into the car to drive away.

When the car seemed to have been on the road for about ten minutes the omega peeked out of the jacket where he had hidden his face all the while the Alphas argued and negotiated for him.

He was immediately met by Wilson's intrigued eyes staring at him like he was a strange creature.

"Is he really your mate or are you mistaken?" Wilson asked while staring at the Omega without looking. The Omega stared back at him with wide purple eyes.

A smack to the back of the head startled Wilson and also made the Omega jump in shock but the Alpha's hold around him tightened.

He finally turned to look at the Alpha, his eyes went from his full eyebrows to his dark and cold eyes and down to his lips and hard jaw.

He continued to stare without blinking and the Alpha returned his stare with his own hooded gaze.

Wilson turned his eyes out the car window to give them privacy.

After a while the Omega let out a soft sigh and relaxed against the Alpha with his head against his chest. Alpha Draven found himself relaxing immediately and his wolf also relaxed as if hypnotized.

For the first time in years, he felt sleepy and content, which he found extremely strange.

Since he became the Alpha of the black Wolf Pack when he was just thirty after his father banished him from their pack for being cruel and rebellious. He had left with two of his closest friends, one of them became his beta while the second died years later.

He had built the pack from scratch and took in wolves that had nowhere to go and soon his territory grew and his pack members grew too.

Today he owns one of the strongest packs in the realm with the strongest of men.

He hadn't stopped working for years, building and building for a day when he would have his own family but that never happened.

Decades of searching turned him cold and hopeless, most times his wolf will retreat from loneliness. But all that suddenly came to an end now.

Wilson looked at the sleeping Alpha and Omega and his always playful features morphed into an expression of pure satisfaction and happiness.

Even though he was a lot younger than the Alpha, he knew how much he had wanted a mate and seeing this made him happy for his Alpha.

The rest of the car ride back to the Black Wolf Pack pack was in total silence with soft coming from the omega.

When they were finally getting close to the pack territory a new day was gradually starting with the sun peeking out of the horizon.

The seer was waiting in front of the pack house for them when the car pulled. Her eyes went to the Omega in the Alpha's arms before a frown crossed her face.

She stepped closer and noticed the white hair on his head, her frown deepening.

"There is a new prophecy, Alpha".

The seer's eyes clouded with worry.
