With Storm I look up at the massive tree. Something about it seems so very dead. I don't like it, something about it unnerves me. It reminds me of something.
"I'm… not seeing things, am I? How can such an enormous tree exist?"
I purse my lips. Oh thats what it reminds me of! Oh. Oh dear, I have a idea of how that square is used.
"No, you're not. And indeed… that is one humongous tree."
He shakes his head and for some reason makes a bad joke
"I mean, it's almost as large as a single branch of the largest tree I've ever seen…"
I sigh loudly getting their attention.
"So sunless. You're base is at the forgotten shores right?"
Sunless glances over at me
"Yeah, why?"
I nod to myself
"I remember there being a tree that mind controlled people, neph and cassie encountered it from what I know"
He tenses
"Yes there is one i burnt it down myself"
I gesture at the massive tree.
"Do you think there's a chance that's what that tree does?"
He thinks for a short time before nodding
"If it is a child of the heart tree, then it would be a sibling of that tree."
Kai tenses up
"So are you saying maybe it can make a pawn swap sides?"
I nod sunless speaks up
"Yeah there's a chance it could do something else still either way I wouldn't look inside of it kai. Either the thing can use a strong enough mind attack to force even cursed to do its bidding, or its the main component of this world and you'd see right into what's under the clouds"
I make a sharp tisk noise
"Deamons and their magics. No the deamon of dread and their magic. Can't make anything simple can they?"
Sunless laughs and kai suddenly shivers
"Hey. The devil on the tree. It looked back at me"
I stare at the tree and I make a stupid face
"Bitch"
Sunless snickers, kai seems deeply unnerved
"It didn't react to your.... provoking"
I throw my hands up
"A shame really"
I hand sunless a larger bone shard. He looks it over
"This. This is what you want me to help you make a weapon out of?"
He looks it over
"Yes. And you also will be making all the other bone shards into weapons for me as well"
He frowns
"And why would I?"
I put my hands on his shoulders with a smile
"You brought me into this, you are doing this for me."
He sighs taking it
"Okay... what even is this?"
I shrug taking my hands back
"Oh, its from the god grave skeleton."
He stares at me blankly.
"This, this really isn't the worst thing you've done yet"
I shrug it probably isn't
"I did take a part of the mountain I was originally on and some of the mountain the crystal bugs was on while it was ice"
He coughs
"You what?"
With Beast I almost seem to fly through the Sun I made a form that mimics both the human saints from the house of night I've seen and cetus. I may not like any of this, but I may as well put effort into this. I fly through the water, when I get my hands on something I grab into it and I use the set of claws to rip it apart, singing. There's singing, wasn't that mentioned happening on the ship to Antarctica? I come up to the surface of the water and seer of the infinite points. I dive under the water. Soon I get to a singing thing. It mimic humanity but lacks it. I smash into it my hands clawing at its face as it ripps into me. I pull up my diving helmet and I bite into face tearing out its eye. It grabs at my face yet I keep going.
With Storm I lift my gun, a sniper to be exact, and i start shooting the big fat worm. I shoot more then a little blindly at the thing. Each shot makes a loud boom and insane winds that I keep control of using snow storm. Goodness it feels like i have a infinite pool of essence, is this what all saints feel? Being able to naturally take in essence all the time and all that. As sunless runs around like a chicken without a head, me, slayer, and Kai pelt the things with arrows. After a while I feel a hand grab the back of my memory armor, transcendent of the 4th tier gotten from a stronger member of the ash army, and i am thrown into Kais dragon form. Slayer jumps on and we start flying. I dig into my bag and I hand slayer my new sun god killer, the new bone sword.
"Remember to give that back at the end of all this"
She stares at me
"You remind a little of someone."
She keeps staring
"Don't tell Sun this but its them. They stare a lot and they are also very murderous. Although you seem like less of a annoying little shit so good for you"
I hum looking over the side of kai
"I'm riding a dragon. Cool"
I then jump off a spear of ice appearing in my hand. I rode a dragon, thats so cool.
With Death my pencil scratches at the massive piece of paper. I glance up at the spell. A new memory. It would appear one of the sunless bodies has finally handed over the harness for flame. I leave the map room going into the throne room, she's sitting on the massive armest of it. I look up at the message war sends about it
[Sunless said that it was hard to make, but it more simple then one made for a human. He quickly got uncomfortable and stopped talking to me]
I nod to myself as I summon flame and the next memory. I slowly and carefully put the new harness, or maybe its closer to armor, on. It has 7 enchantments i commissioned. [As light as snow] is can change how heavy it is, from naturally so light it would be like it isn't there to as heavy as a mountain. [Forgotten or remembered] a passive effect to harden its scales while not summoned. [Iron within iron without] it allows the attitude to heal when iron is melted into it. [Being of ash and snow] it gives massive amount of elemental resistance. [To be Forgotten] it gains the attention of any enemies around it when actived. [To be remembered] it powers up either allies or flame when working with others. Finally [bound to snow] to make it into a attribute. I look up at the runes of the spell
"Bind"
With Storm while those fools wait for it to turn into a volcano i go super fast to look at the shrine. I just need to check something. I finally make it to the shrine and I start looking around quickly.
"Right right. Hmm. Its a shrine to death, I'm sure of it."
I've figured it out. Mostly. It would appear this game is based on the ash and snow kings. I go into the sky shortly after when it turns into a volcano. I land next to the three.
"Oh curse that deamon for creating this place!"
Kai glaces over then sighs
"Okay what now?"
I point to the new shrine
"This whole place is based off of the snow and ash kings. I think you know my history with that is. Its so disrespectful to make a game off of their deaths. Shame on them, shame i say"
Sunless laughs
"Oh like you didn't steal from one of them"
I shake my head
"It was not stealing it was rehoming lost tools and other such things very different I assure you!"
