Adrian is on his laptop at 2 AM when he realizes he's completely screwed.
He's been looking at properties in Brooklyn for the past three hours. Not for business. For her. The community center Olivia talks about like it's a dream she can never have. The dream that makes her eyes light up and her voice change. The dream that Adrian Kess is quietly buying properties to make real.
He closes the laptop fast like someone might see.
This is what he's become. A man who sneaks around his own penthouse. A man who buys real estate in secret. A man who calls architects at 1 AM and tells them to work on a project for someone who doesn't know it exists.
