It could be said that if one were only speaking of special forces meant for ordinary human soldiers, then Blackwatch troops were absolutely among the most elite units in that category.
Not to mention that there was also the super soldier squad capable of rivaling the protagonist's strength.
And such a squad only required 5000 prestige points.
Compared to the previous several squads, the value was undeniable.
The only problem was that it required unlocking the prerequisite technology first, the cloning cultivation device, which cost roughly another thousand points.
As Killian looked at the Blackwatch squad before him, his gaze shifted again to another category, the genetic map section. After searching for a while, the genetic map for the Blackwatch squad soon appeared in front of him, priced at 20,000 prestige points.
Seeing that, even Killian, who already felt that he had built up a bit of wealth, could not help sucking in a sharp breath.
He could only say that, as expected of the system, its emphasis on the privacy of racial genetic information was truly outrageous.
The one thing that did comfort him, however, was that within the genetic map, the system also included the genetic profiles of all Blackwatch squad members, along with their combat memories.
It could be said that as long as he cultivated them through the cloning device, they would not even need time to adapt before being thrown directly into battle.
And the most important part was that the cost of clones, compared with Terminators that required large quantities of high-strength metal, was basically close to zero.
For a moment, after realizing that, Killian's restless heart began beating again.
Under the premise that Terminators still could not enter the world yet, would not the Blackwatch force make the perfect trump card unit for him?
Not only could they protect his personal safety, but they could also guard the company and later be stationed at the T-Virus project site.
Although he had learned his lesson and taken many precautions, he did not believe that truly absolute safety existed anywhere in the world.
So a powerful security force was absolutely necessary.
And thus, another item appeared on Killian's planned list.
But now, looking at his prestige, which had just risen and only barely reached 4000, Killian could not help but feel helpless.
This really was spending money like water, earning slower than he spent.
Originally, he had thought that with Baymax alone, he would be able to lie back in peace and steadily unlock his high technology.
Now it seemed that it was far from enough.
For a moment, that pressure from time once again settled heavily onto Killian's heart.
But the most important thing right now was still to settle things with Samuel first.
So after putting aside what he was doing, Killian headed alone to the airport and boarded a plane bound for New York.
...
Meanwhile...
"Strange. How exactly was this thing's intelligence program written? Its level of intelligence is actually this high."
Inside a seaside villa in Los Angeles, Tony Stark had just finished testing all of Baymax's functions, and he could not help feeling astonished by Baymax's intelligence.
Although Baymax's conversational fluency was not especially high, and there were many niche areas of knowledge it did not know, its autonomous learning ability and intelligence were things he had never seen before.
Even Jarvis, which he was currently working on, did not possess even one-tenth of the intelligence Baymax displayed.
According to Tony's calculations, the intelligent chip inside Baymax was at least ten, perhaps even twenty years ahead of the scientific level of this world.
"Killian. Interesting."
At the thought that there was actually another high-tech genius besides himself, a trace of amusement appeared at the corner of Tony's lips.
He wanted to see exactly who was the greater genius.
So after putting Baymax away, Tony returned to his workstation and began entering lines of logic code into the computer.
He was going to upgrade Jarvis once again.
Baymax had given him excellent inspiration. As long as he continued feeding it through autonomous learning and online data, then with his own intelligence,
he believed he could catch up to more than a decade of AIM's research progress in just two or three years.
Yes, in Tony's mind, black technology like Baymax could never have been created by a company without several decades of research behind it.
Because leaving aside artificial intelligence's need for data training, just its foundational logical structure alone required an enormous quantity of data that could not possibly be built in a short period of time.
It could be said that if one compared it using the monthly research progress of the major public AI teams today, and treated that pace as one gigabyte per month, then full artificial intelligence would be like one terabyte, equal to 1024 gigabytes, meaning it would require more than five hundred years.
Of course, if there were another technological explosion in the meantime, perhaps that time could be cut down by more than half.
But even then, it would still be technology far beyond the present age.
That was why Tony had developed a trace of curiosity toward AIM and that guy named Killian.
After all, someone intelligent enough to make even him feel a bit of pressure was truly rare.
That said, as Tony's research deepened, those thoughts were quickly pushed aside again.
Just like how he could not recall what he had eaten an hour earlier, it was not that he could not, but that he would not waste even the tiniest bit of mental capacity on things he considered irrelevant.
...
Unlike the relative harmony on Tony Stark's side, in a certain secret research laboratory somewhere in America,
Baymax, at this moment, looked at the group of people around it whose eyes were glowing with greed, staring at it and at the "companions" beside it that had already been dismantled into pieces, and the entire robot felt terrible.
"According to AIM First Robot Directive, the Baymax series of robots are personal healthcare companions developed for medical services."
"Please do not engage in acts such as intentional destruction, deliberate damage, attempted theft of confidential technology, or related behavior."
"Otherwise, once discovered, the purchaser and related company will be permanently blacklisted and stripped forever of eligibility to purchase AIM products."
And as these people were clearly about to violently dismantle it as well, Baymax continued repeating the same words that its various "predecessors" had already repeated before.
"It seems this so-called groundbreaking robot isn't actually that intelligent after all. How many units has it been now? It's still giving the same dull warning."
After hearing Baymax's warning, a man wearing gold-rimmed glasses behind several researchers in white coats in the distance could not help complaining in a bored tone.
"Modis, that's only because you've been watching this all day and got tired of it. If its intelligence really were that low, would all of us be gathered here?"
The middle-aged man beside him, holding a glass of red wine and wearing a gentlemanly smile, spoke in response.
And if anyone from the medical field had been present, they would have immediately discovered that several of the major giants of the American medical industry were all gathered here.
