Chapter 13 - The Truth of Mariya

Chapter 13

The underground chamber was shaking.

Cracks were spreading across the ancient stone floor. Dust was falling from the ceiling.

The blue crystal at the center of the chamber was shining brighter than ever before.

Ran stood beside Mariya.

Blue energy surrounded both of them like a protective shield.

Behind them, the giant stone guardian stood silently like a mountain.

Victor slowly stood up from the ground.

His body was covered with dark red energy.

His eyes looked more dangerous than ever.

Victor laughed.

"So… the temple chose you."

He looked directly at Mariya.

"But do you even know who you really are?"

Mariya frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Victor smiled coldly.

"You don't remember anything… do you?"

Ran looked confused.

"What are you talking about?"

Victor pointed toward the glowing crystal.

"That crystal doesn't respond to normal humans."

"It only responds to the bloodline of the temple."

Mariya's heart began beating faster.

"I… don't understand."

Suddenly the crystal released another powerful wave of blue light.

The energy moved toward Mariya again.

Ancient glowing symbols appeared on her arms and neck.

Her eyes started glowing softly.

Ran looked shocked.

"Mariya…"

At that moment the giant stone guardian slowly moved.

It walked toward Mariya.

Then something unbelievable happened.

The giant guardian knelt down.

It bowed its head in front of Mariya.

The entire chamber became silent.

Victor laughed loudly.

"Now you see?"

"The temple recognizes its true heir."

Ran looked at Mariya in shock.

"Heir…?"

Mariya felt strange memories flashing in her mind.

Old images appeared in her head.

An ancient temple.

A powerful family protecting it.

A young girl with glowing blue eyes.

The memories were incomplete.

But they felt real.

Mariya held her head.

"Why… am I seeing these things?"

Victor spoke slowly.

"Because they are your memories."

"You are the last descendant of the Temple Guardians."

Ran couldn't believe it.

"Mariya… is the guardian's bloodline?"

Victor nodded.

"Yes."

"That is why the crystal chose her."

The blue crystal suddenly released a beam of light.

The beam entered Mariya's body.

Her power began increasing rapidly.

Blue energy surrounded her completely.

Her hair started moving in the glowing wind.

Ancient power was awakening inside her.

The temple walls began glowing brighter.

The giant guardian stood up again.

Now it stood behind Mariya like a loyal protector.

Ran slowly smiled.

"So that's why the temple reacted to you."

Mariya looked at her glowing hands.

"So… I was always connected to this place."

Victor suddenly raised his hands.

Dark energy exploded from his body.

"Enough!"

"If the temple chose you…"

"Then I will destroy both of you!"

Victor's body began changing.

The red energy around him turned darker.

Almost black.

Dark smoke surrounded him.

His voice became deeper.

"You forced me to use my final power."

Ran looked serious.

"What is happening to him?"

Victor's body became larger.

Dark armor-like energy covered his skin.

His eyes burned like red fire.

"I am no longer human," Victor growled.

"I am the ruler of darkness now!"

Mariya stepped forward.

Blue energy surrounded her like a shining aura.

Ran stood beside her.

The giant guardian stood behind them.

Three protectors.

Facing one dark enemy.

Victor raised his hand.

A massive wave of dark energy shot toward them.

Ran and Mariya combined their power.

Blue light exploded across the chamber.

The two energies collided.

The entire underground chamber shook violently.

This was no longer a normal battle.

It was a battle for the temple's destiny.

The ancient temple had awakened its true guardians.

And the final war had finally begun.

The Final Battle

The underground chamber was shaking violently.

Cracks spread across the ancient walls and pillars. Dust and small stones were falling from the ceiling.

At the center of the chamber, the giant blue crystal shone like a powerful star.

The light from the crystal filled the entire hall.

Ran stood beside Mariya.

Both of them were surrounded by glowing blue energy.

Behind them, the giant stone guardian stood like an unbreakable mountain.

In front of them was Victor.

But he was no longer the same man.

His body was covered in dark armor made of black energy.

His eyes burned with red fire.

Dark smoke surrounded him like a living shadow.

Victor slowly lifted his head.

"You think you can stop me?"

His deep voice echoed across the chamber.

Ran stepped forward.

"We will stop you."

Mariya also stepped beside him.

"The temple will never belong to darkness."

Victor laughed loudly.

"You still believe in hope."

He raised his hand.

Dark energy gathered around his arm.

Then suddenly—

BOOOOM!

A massive wave of black energy shot toward them.

Ran quickly created a blue shield.

The attack slammed into the shield with incredible force.

The entire chamber trembled.

The shockwave pushed Ran and Mariya backward.

Victor rushed forward with terrifying speed.

He attacked Ran with a powerful punch.

Ran barely blocked it.

Blue and black energy exploded in the air.

The collision created a loud thunder-like sound.

Victor attacked again and again.

Each attack was faster than the last.

Ran struggled to keep up.

Mariya raised her glowing hands.

Blue light flowed from the crystal toward her.

She released a wave of energy.

The blast pushed Victor backward.

Victor landed on the ground and growled angrily.

"So the temple really chose you."

The giant stone guardian suddenly moved.

It stepped forward and attacked Victor.

Its massive stone fist struck the ground.

Victor jumped into the air to avoid the attack.

He floated in the air surrounded by dark energy.

"You are all insects compared to my power!"

Victor stretched both arms.

The darkness around him began forming giant shadow spikes.

Dozens of dark spikes shot toward Ran and Mariya.

Ran ran forward.

He cut through the shadows using pure blue energy.

The chamber filled with sparks of light.

Mariya focused on the crystal again.

She could feel its power flowing into her body.

The ancient energy was guiding her.

She raised her hand.

Suddenly the entire chamber filled with blue light.

Ancient symbols appeared everywhere.

Even the giant guardian started glowing brighter.

Ran looked amazed.

"The temple is giving us its power."

Victor's eyes burned with rage.

"No!"

He gathered an enormous amount of dark energy.

The shadows around him formed a giant dark sphere.

"This will destroy everything!"

He threw the dark sphere toward them.

The entire chamber shook violently.

Ran looked at Mariya.

"This is our chance."

They both stepped forward.

Ran released all his blue energy.

Mariya connected her power with the crystal.

The guardian also raised its arms.

Three powers united together.

A massive beam of blue light shot forward.

The blue beam collided with Victor's dark sphere.

The two energies clashed like two exploding stars.

The chamber filled with blinding light.

The ground cracked even more.

Pillars began falling.

The temple was reaching its limit.

Victor screamed with rage.

"I will not lose!"

He pushed more dark energy forward.

But the blue light kept growing stronger.

Mariya's eyes glowed brighter than ever.

"The temple is protecting us!"

Ran shouted.

"Together!"

They released their final power.

The blue beam exploded with incredible force.

The dark sphere shattered into pieces.

Victor was hit directly by the massive energy blast.

The explosion threw him across the chamber.

He crashed into a stone pillar.

The pillar collapsed with a loud crash.

Dust filled the air.

Victor slowly fell to the ground.

His dark armor began breaking apart.

The black energy disappeared.

The chamber finally became quiet.

Ran and Mariya stood breathing heavily.

The crystal slowly dimmed its light.

The giant stone guardian returned to its silent position.

The battle was finally over.

But deep inside the temple…

The ancient energy was still awake.

And the temple's true secrets had not yet been fully revealed.

 Temple Guardian Unleashed

The underground chamber was quiet now, but the air was still trembling with energy.

Victor lay on the floor, his dark energy shattered, but he slowly got up, his eyes burning with hatred.

Ran and Mariya stood side by side, their bodies glowing with blue light.

Behind them, the giant stone guardian began moving. Slowly at first, its massive body creaked and shook, then its eyes blazed with an intense blue light.

The air vibrated with a deep hum as the guardian's energy began to awaken.

The chamber walls shook. Dust fell from the ceiling. The blue crystal at the center of the room pulsed like a heartbeat.

Ran felt it immediately.

"The temple… it's giving its full power to the guardian!"

Mariya's eyes widened.

"Full power? Is it… even possible?"

The guardian raised its massive arms. Lightning-like blue energy surged from its body. Its stone fists glowed, and the floor beneath it cracked under the pressure.

Victor stepped back, fear flashing in his eyes.

"You… what is this?"

The guardian did not move toward them—it moved toward the crystal. It placed its massive hands on the pedestal.

The crystal responded instantly. Its glow intensified, flooding the entire chamber with blinding light. Ancient symbols on the walls lit up like fire.

A wave of energy shot out. Ran and Mariya felt their entire bodies vibrate with power.

The guardian's chest opened slowly, revealing a hidden core—a glowing blue crystal within its stone body.

This was its true form.

The guardian stepped forward, now larger, taller, and more powerful than ever. Its energy radiated like a living force.

Victor stumbled backward, trying to gather dark energy.

"No! This cannot be!" he shouted.

The guardian let out a low, resonating roar that shook the chamber like an earthquake.

The ground split in several places. Stones and dust flew into the air. The pillars around the chamber began to crumble under the immense power.

Ran felt the energy surging through him.

"Mariya… we have to combine our power with the guardian!" he shouted.

Mariya nodded. She extended her hands toward the guardian. Blue energy from the crystal flowed into her. She felt ancient knowledge, wisdom, and strength flowing into her body.

The guardian's eyes glowed brighter. Its massive fists glowed like molten blue rock.

Victor's dark aura exploded into a huge black vortex. He raised his arms to attack, but the guardian moved faster than before.

A massive punch struck the ground, sending a shockwave toward Victor. The force threw him across the chamber.

Victor quickly rose, gathering black energy into massive shadow blades, throwing them at the guardian.

But the guardian moved effortlessly. Each shadow blade shattered upon contact. Its speed was unmatched. Its strength was beyond comprehension.

The chamber itself seemed alive now. Energy pulsed through the walls, the floor, and even the ceiling.

The guardian roared again. Lightning-like streams of blue energy burst from its body, tearing through the dark energy around Victor.

Victor screamed.

"You think you can defeat me?"

The guardian's voice echoed through the minds of Ran and Mariya.

"We are the temple. We are eternal. You cannot prevail."

Ran and Mariya raised their hands. The blue light from the guardian connected with them. They felt as if they were becoming one with the temple itself.

The power was overwhelming, yet pure.

Victor formed a massive black sphere above his head.

"This ends now!" he shouted.

He hurled the dark sphere toward them. The chamber exploded in shadow and blue light.

The temple itself groaned as the energies collided.

Ran and Mariya held on tightly. The guardian's full power surged outward like a tidal wave.

The blue light tore through Victor's dark sphere. Sparks, fire, and shadow collided in an epic explosion.

Victor screamed as the energy consumed him. His dark armor shattered, his black aura dissipated.

The guardian's hands glowed with ultimate energy, and a single strike of its fist sent Victor crashing into the far wall.

The chamber shook violently. Pillars collapsed, but the guardian remained standing, towering over the destruction.

Ran and Mariya felt the energy subside. The blue crystal in the chamber's center pulsed gently now.

The temple had finally unleashed its full power.

Ran looked at Mariya.

"We did it… with the guardian."

Mariya smiled, exhausted but relieved.

The guardian knelt before them once more, its glowing eyes softening.

Its work was done.

The temple, the guardian, and its true heirs—Ran and Mariya—stood victorious.

But deep inside, a new energy was stirring. The temple still had secrets to reveal, and the final journey had just begun.

 Temple Collapse

The chamber shook violently.

The blue crystal pulsed one last time before the energy waves surged uncontrollably.

The walls cracked. Pillars began to topple. Dust and stones rained down from the ceiling.

Ran and Mariya stood at the center, their combined energy barely holding the chamber together.

The Temple Guardian's full power was still radiating, but even he could not stop the structural collapse.

Victor had been defeated, but his dark energy left unstable chaos behind.

The ceiling started breaking apart. Large stones fell dangerously close.

Ran grabbed Mariya's hand.

"Hold on! We have to get out—now!"

Mariya nodded, but her eyes were fixed on the glowing crystal.

"It's calling me… the temple's energy… it's unstable!"

Suddenly, a huge shockwave hit the ground. The floor cracked beneath their feet.

The temple's underground energy core was exploding.

Blue energy surged like lightning through the entire chamber.

The guardian roared, trying to stabilize the temple, but cracks spread too fast.

A massive pillar fell, narrowly missing Ran and Mariya.

They rolled aside just in time. Dust choked the air. Visibility was almost zero.

"Ran… we can't hold it much longer!" Mariya shouted.

"I know! The guardian… it's giving everything!" Ran replied.

The guardian struck the ground with both fists. Energy waves collided, creating a protective dome around Ran and Mariya.

Massive chunks of stone fell from the ceiling. Fires ignited from broken torches. Smoke filled the air.

The walls trembled. The blue crystal pulsed violently, sending streams of energy outward.

Mariya closed her eyes. She focused on the temple energy, trying to connect fully with the guardian.

She felt it—every stone, every beam, every ancient symbol was alive.

"Ran… I can feel the temple breathing," she whispered.

Ran gritted his teeth. "Then let's survive… together."

They combined their energy, forming a glowing sphere of blue light with the guardian behind them.

The first wave of collapsing pillars struck, but the light shield absorbed it.

Then came the second wave. The ground split open. Lava-like energy leaked from the cracks.

The temple's core was destabilizing.

Mariya screamed, channeling all her energy. The crystal's energy flowed into her. She became a beacon of light, radiating power beyond imagination.

The guardian roared louder than ever. Its fists slammed into the ground, stabilizing parts of the chamber.

Ran and Mariya, with their combined power, held the collapsing temple together, just enough to escape.

But the chamber was breaking fast. Stones and debris fell like rain.

"Ran! There's a tunnel! I see it!" Mariya yelled.

Ran grabbed her hand. "Move! Now!"

They ran through the tunnel as the chamber behind them collapsed completely.

Massive cracks tore through the walls. Pillars crumbled into dust. The crystal shattered in a massive explosion of blue light.

The underground temple collapsed entirely, leaving smoke and rubble.

Ran and Mariya emerged from the ruins. Their bodies were bruised, their clothes torn, but they were alive.

The Guardian had disappeared into the rubble, leaving behind only a faint blue glow in the earth.

They looked back. The temple was gone, reduced to nothing but debris.

Mariya whispered, "The temple… it's gone."

Ran pulled her close. "It's gone, but its energy… we survived. We have its legacy."

The night sky above was calm, but deep beneath, the temple's essence still pulsed, hinting that its secrets were far from over.
