Yuni had just finished her phone call with Bomi. Nia's running stomach had finally settled thanks to some medicine Mrs. Kim had given her.
Her mother scolded Nia to be careful of what she put in her stomach, Of course, Nia had a habit of eating the uneatable, and that was what made Yuni's plan work so efficiently.
In her next life, Nia probably wouldn't be friends with food again… but the real question was, would she really forsake it?
Yuni sat in her room, scrolling through the internet, looking for reasons why the KJK boys had ditched their fans at the stadium.
She quickly found the information she needed—something had come up, and that was why they had left.
"Thank goodness you guys are okay," she smiled.
She then opened her gallery and watched videos and listened to their music until she finally dozed off, earpiece still in her ears.
DREAM LAND-
"Where am I?" Yuni whispered, finding herself in an open field. She looked around, bewildered.
Just then, she felt something perch on her shoulder, making her shudder.
"Don't panic… calm down," she whispered to herself, slowly turning her head.
What she saw made her eyes widen in disbelief.
"A butterfly?" She whispered, smiling. It was a silver butterfly, shimmering and emitting a soft light.
"What are you doing here all alone?" she asked, reaching out to touch it. The butterfly flitted away toward a nearby tree.
"Hey! Come back!" She called, inexplicably chasing it.
The butterfly vanished behind the tree. Yuni paused, stepping gently behind it and froze.
Her eyes took in the scene, dozens of silver butterflies forming a glowing circle. A chill ran down her spine, crawling along her skin.
"Am I dreaming?" she whispered.
"Yes, you are, Kim Yuni," an enchanting voice replied. Yuni spun around, startled.
"Who… who are you?" she stammered, returning her gaze to the butterflies. A radiant woman stood before her, elegant and silver from head to toe, staring at her with serene grace.
"Nice to finally meet you, Kim Yuni," the woman said as she approached. Yuni instinctively stepped back.
"Don't be afraid, Yuni. I mean no harm… I am here to bless you," the woman said. Her hair, her robe, even her aura was silver and ethereal.
"You're… so beautiful," Yuni muttered.
"Thank you, Kim Yuni," the woman smiled.
Yuni shook her head, trying to make sense of it. How was she so free with this stranger? Had she died and gone to heaven? The woman smelled heavenly, almost unreal.
"You aren't dead," the woman said, sensing Yuni's thoughts. "You are alive… you are dreaming."
"A dream?" Yuni pinched herself. "Ouch!"
"But… I felt pain," she said, wide-eyed.
The woman smiled.
"Let's call that your subconscious," she said.
"What does that mean?" Yuni asked, firing off more questions.
"Yuni, I don't have time to answer all your questions. I came here for a purpose, and I must leave soon. I am… a busy personality," the woman replied gently.
Yuni hesitated, then launched into another flurry of questions.
"What sort of personality are you? What did you come here to do? Where am I? Who are you? Wait… are you a ghost?"
The woman smiled. "I am not a ghost."
"Then… what are you?" Yuni asked again.
"I am the Goddess of Love," the woman responded.
"Goddess of… what? Am I in some fantasy world?" Yuni asked skeptically.
"I am real, Kim Yuni. I have come to bless you… your prayers have been heard," the goddess said warmly.
"What sort of blessings? What prayers? What are you talking about?" Yuni bombarded her with questions.
The goddess sighed but smiled. Surprisingly, Yuni wasn't afraid.
"I will make your dreams of being with your idols come true," the goddess said.
"What?" Yuni blinked, confused.
"Yes."
"Wait… you mean KJK?"
"Yes. You will go on a date with each of them. Whoever you end up kissing will become your partner in the real world," the goddess explained.
Yuni blinked, then burst out laughing.
"What's funny?" the goddess asked, frowning slightly.
Realizing the goddess wasn't amused, Yuni stopped laughing, staring at her in awe.
"Wait… what?" Yuni finally scoffed.
"See for yourself," the goddess said, hugging Yuni gently. The world spun around her.
Yuni shut her eyes, thinking it was an earthquake. When she opened them, she was somewhere unexpected_ a lavish restaurant, opulent and full of wealth.
"What's happening? Where am I?" she muttered, taking in her surroundings. Her clothes were expensive too—far beyond what she could afford.
Before she could process it, a figure approached with a warm smile.
"Wait… is that… KJK Kyung? Maybe I'm dreaming," She whispered, rubbing her eyes.
The boy sat down at her table, smiling apologetically.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, baby," Kyung said gently.
Yuni's mouth hung open in shock.
"Yuni… are you okay? Are you angry I kept you waiting for our second date?" Kyung asked.
She opened her mouth to speak, but all that came out was a whisper.
"Oh heavens… come to your daughter's rescue…"
