Since Harry was already here, he certainly wouldn't let Obadiah get back up and then let Stark blow up his own arc reactor.
He knew he was about to acquire a controlling stake in Stark, so a slight dip would be beneficial for his entry, but if it continued to fall, investors would start doubting Harry's decision-making.
Bang.
Harry threw the powerless Tony to the ground, holding a strange rod in his hand, which he inserted into a gap in Obadiah's armor.
"What is that?" Tony asked.
Jarvis told him it was a material he had never seen before.
Completing the New York City power grid mission gave Harry two rewards: one was Lening, and the other was superconducting material.
This rod was a conductive rod Harry had made using the superconducting material.
"Do you remember the sting grenade that hit you? This thing could also be called a'sting grenade'."
Click.
Obadiah seemed to be waiting for exactly this opportunity; he was about to raise his hand to grab Harry, but an electric current instantly surged into his armor, destroying all the circuits in the Iron Man Suit!
"How is this possible?" Obadiah's face was full of disbelief. If any random stun gun could paralyze the armor, then what was the point of all his effort?
A simple stun gun certainly couldn't paralyze the armor, but a living electrical energy entity could.
There was another reason Harry used Lening to paralyze the armor; he needed Lening to copy the internal structure of the suit to prepare for upgrading his own suit.
After all, Tony wouldn't just hand over the technology for the Iron Man Suit.
Now, this suit had become an iron coffin.
"Nice suit. Let's see how many years you get for this." Harry retracted the electric rod.
"Done." Harry retracted the electric rod. "You can have someone come and deal with him, but I suggest you keep this thing safe."
"I would have done that even if you hadn't said anything." After hesitating for a moment, Tony continued, "Thank you."
"Don't mention it. After all, I'm about to acquire a controlling stake in Stark Industries, just letting you know in advance."
"What?" Tony was stunned.
The crimes Obadiah committed this time were not minor—selling weapons to militants, developing high-lethality weapons without authorization and using them in the city, causing major economic losses, and so on.
And he had quite a few accomplices.
If Tony had solved this problem alone, he would certainly have taken full control of Stark Industries, just like in the movie.
But now, Harry had appeared halfway through.
Harry was no minor character; after an incident like this, there were plenty of people who would support him in acquiring a controlling stake in Stark Industries.
"Don't worry, it's just a temporary controlling stake." Harry patted Tony's armor. "If I wanted to, I could even start acquiring Stark Industries. As long as I nod and take over the military industrial demands you've vacated, they will agree."
"However, under normal circumstances, I won't interfere with your company or your affairs."
As for the stake, it was only a relative controlling stake. Once Tony returned to the management of Stark Industries and dealt with the Obadiah matter, he could still achieve absolute control over the company.
All Harry wanted was to get a foot in the door at Stark Industries; it wouldn't be good if he forced Tony away.
"Overall, it's similar to the relationship you had with Obadiah before, but I basically won't interfere with your business."
As he spoke, Harry took out an arc reactor, with the exact same specifications as the one on Tony's chest.
Tony did not immediately take the arc reactor Harry handed him, but stared straight into Harry's eyes, refusing to accept the item even though he felt discomfort in his chest.
The discomfort in his chest eventually turned into a sense of oppression. His face turned pale, and he appeared so powerless in front of Harry.
After a while, perhaps because he heard some other news, or perhaps he had figured it out, Tony looked away and took the arc reactor.
"I'm starting to understand your intentions a bit." Tony turned around and replaced the arc reactor. "You want to be the driver, but I'll be watching you. If I notice anything wrong, I'll snatch the steering wheel from you."
Harry smiled; as long as Tony agreed, he would make a huge profit from this incident.
If it were Tony a few years later, he wouldn't be so easy to deal with.
After all, the leaders on both sides who caused the Civil War were somewhat paranoid.
"Of course, you're welcome to supervise. Don't forget the artificial intelligence you promised to give me."
"Won't you stay for a meal? By the way, why didn't your female secretary come with you?"
"Don't you dare set your sights on her!"
Ignoring Tony's invitation, Harry flew straight into the night sky.
"He's 18, but why do I feel like he's 58?" Tony sat on the ruins.
"Sir, based on these few interactions, Mr. Osborn's psychological age is indeed more than 18," Jarvis said.
"Tony!"
It was Pepper who arrived with people.
Looking at the power armor behind Pepper, with the bright Osborn Group logo on it, Tony sighed.
The entire event concluded successfully with Tony's classic declaration: "I am Iron Man."
However, this time, there was still an unsolved mystery regarding Iron Man's first appearance.
That was that witnesses claimed there was another participant at the scene, whose flight speed was much faster than Iron Man and Obadiah, and many speculated that this person played a very important role in this incident.
Regarding this, Tony's pride drove him to suppress the existence of Harry, and Harry certainly wouldn't jump out to argue with him.
"Actually, that was a method I used to subdue the imitation."
"Some people say that was Harry Osborn. Do you agree with this statement?"
"That 18-year-old kid? He is very smart, but do you think their clunky power armor can compare to this?" Tony tapped his phone, projecting the heroic image of Iron Man. "His power armor can't fly!"
"However, he still has a bright future. I heard his father is running for Governor."
On television, Tony talked eloquently amidst the cameras and microphones of the media.
"How did you convince him? What exactly did you go do?" Hurley followed Harry around every day, asking questions like a curious baby.
She seemed to have accepted the premise that Harry would ride a goblin glider to do certain things.
After all, Harry hadn't even broken a sweat after returning, and he was still full of energy; he didn't look like he had been in any life-threatening danger.
"I just did a little bit of work. Besides, it's normal for geniuses to cherish each other; you don't need to overreact."
"I just rode the glider to observe the latest technology at Stark Industries, and then gave some guidance to the local troops using the power armor. Other than that, I really didn't do anything."
Compared to Tony, who loved the feeling of being in the spotlight, Harry preferred the feeling of being surrounded by mystery.
Yes, it was obvious that I did it, but I just won't say it, I won't admit it.
Just for fun.
Moreover, Harry recently found it quite cute when Hurley puffed up her cheeks and glared at him. Compared to Western faces, Harry still found Hurley's appearance, which was closer to an Eastern face, more appealing.
"How is the election going?"
The unhappy Hurley had to return to work mode.
"It can already be said that it's over ahead of schedule."
For a mere Governor election, the result was a landslide.
Whether it was officials or the public, everyone hoped for Norman Osborn to take office.
He even ranked first in the "Who would you vote for as the next President" survey, with Tony Stark in second place.
It's a bit absurd, but that really is the result.
Norman will officially take office next week, and he needs to review his grand blueprint again.
