Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Outsmarting Obadiah

Tearing apart mark armor by hand has had precedents in the original work.

In the Civil War comics, an enraged Spider-Man took less than a minute to crack open the mark armor like a can.

However, conservatively estimated, Spider-Man's arm strength is at least 25 tons.

If Harry were equipped with the Thor's Hammer armor from the spartan program, he could easily tear apart Obadiah's knock-off armor by hand, but unfortunately, he didn't have it.

However, he had something better.

The lights in the room flickered, and the computer screen in front of Harry twitched violently.

"Little guy, you can do it. Now display a..."

Zzz--

The image distorted violently, and finally, a crooked 'A' appeared on the computer.

"Very good! Now try this." Harry operated another computer, which only had a large 'B' printed on it.

"Note the state of the level. Now tell me, what is it?"

Lening quickly passed through the computer with the 'B' on it, then returned to the previous screen.

An identical letter slowly appeared on the screen.

"Great, awesome!" Harry waved his hand excitedly, and Lening also happily pounced towards Harry--

Bang!

Harry's hair stood on end due to static electricity.

Harry helplessly smoothed his hair to eliminate the static.

This felt like teaching a child to read, but this "child" was a bit special.

After a while, Harry's phone rang.

"Mr. Osborn, I think there is something you should know." It was Pepper calling. "Obadiah has been conducting some kind of weapons experiment privately underneath the arc reactor in Sector 16."

Her voice was very hurried, as if she was on the move.

"Really? What kind of weapon is it? Does Tony know?"

Harry leisurely poured himself a drink.

"I don't know, but it looks very similar to the power armor of the Osborn Group. I have already contacted—well, some government department—and am heading to that place."

"Alright, I understand. I'll be there right away. You contain the scene first."

Hanging up the phone, Harry made another call to Hurley.

"Something happened at Stark Industries. Have our team get ready. The Military and Congress will come to make contact soon. Agree to their conditions for upgrading the armor, but I want controlling interest in Stark Industries."

Obadiah is currently the actual person in control of the company, but once Harry sends him to prison, someone will negotiate terms with him.

"Understood. Do you need a plane?"

"No need, I'll go myself."

After speaking, Harry put on his battle suit, and the goblin glider slowly hovered in front of Harry.

"It's time to go out and get some exercise, Lening."

Lening leaped joyfully into the goblin glider, and Harry soon disappeared into the night sky.

"Damn it, the power armor of the Osborn Group can't stop those things!"

"Then let them go evacuate the crowd!"

In the city, the government was in chaos. To maintain stability, the Military had entered the urban area.

Facts proved that power armor was indeed more flexible and practical in the urban area.

Although it couldn't confront them head-on, it was very useful when protecting the crowd.

In just this short while, the streets were full of cars overturned by the two unknown weapons. The Military could only try to evacuate the crowd on the side, using power armor to prevent vehicles and debris from flying out of their combat zone.

"The battle between the two steel giants has already caused hundreds of citizens to be injured."

Bang!

Looking at the footage sent back by the frontline reporter, the scene was shocking.

"Save my parents--"

A little girl covered in blood hugged the power armor that was on guard. Under the little girl's guidance, several units of power armor successfully moved the overturned car and rescued the couple trapped underneath.

Just when everyone wanted to cheer, the car suddenly exploded!

Boom!

"Oh, my god!" The reporter covered her mouth.

The atmosphere at the scene dropped to freezing point.

The camera quickly focused on this scene.

But when the flames dissipated, people saw that several units of power armor had successfully protected the injured couple. The explosion hadn't injured anyone, and the power armor only had some black marks on their backs!

"My god! They're okay!"

"My god, they are simply guardian deities!"

"I have to say, perhaps I was too harsh on the Federation before." Some netizens were discussing online.

"Really? But why do I feel like this has something to do with them?" The Federation was unfairly blamed—no way around it, their reputation was too bad.

"Why don't you suspect Stark Industries? Or Osborn?"

"Suspect Stark Industries, agreed. But Osborn Group? In case you don't know, let me tell you, there is no Osborn branch here!"

"Hey, I think so too. Besides, look at these power armor units. My god, they are so reassuring."

"What is that? A fighter jet?"

Sharp-eyed netizens saw something in the distance of the broadcast screen seemingly moving at high speed--

"It's a sonic boom!"

It was Harry.

"Looks like you're about to lose to your own knock-off, Tony." Harry didn't join the battle directly but contacted Tony first.

"Are you going to fly around in circles on the side, or are you going to beat up this big oaf with me?" Tony climbed out of the wall.

"Get me a Jarvis too."

"Did you hear that, Jarvis? You're quite in demand. Deal." Tony didn't haggle anymore; he understood how much of an impact the battle with Obadiah would have on the civilians.

"Remember the second race you lost?" Harry gave him a small hint.

This made Harry feel somewhat like a plagiarist—after all, Tony could have thought of this method himself.

Tony was stunned for a moment, then immediately understood what Harry meant.

"Of course, that time you jumped the gun." But he was still stubborn.

Then, Harry saw the two of them flying straight up, like Rockets taking off.

Seeing that Obadiah had taken the bait, Harry also joined this climbing race and immediately flew to the same altitude as the two of them.

"See that, Tony? I'm still faster than you. What round is this?"

"Can you shut up for a moment?"

Unlike the slightly relaxed atmosphere of the two, Obadiah was full of question marks.

"Who is this guy again? You'd rather give the technology to others than hand it over to the company?" Obadiah didn't notice at all that a thick layer of frost had already condensed on the armor.

"Never mind that for now, how did you solve the icing problem?"

"Icing problem?"

The thick layer of ice blocked the armor's power lines, and Obadiah's armor instantly lost its ability to move.

Thud.

Tony knocked hard on Obadiah's head, the sound was crisp, proving it was a good head.

"Are you venting your dissatisfaction from the last time I knocked your head?" Harry teased.

"Can you..." Before Tony could finish his sentence, Jarvis's low energy warning choked back what he wanted to say.

"Consider this a friendly sponsorship for this time." Harry, as if carrying a small animal, lifted Tony up.
