In the forest of death a wolf was sitting outside a cave like it was protecting the place but it was most certainly doing a bad job because it lack all seriousness of someone guarding something.
If asked it would most definitely tell you that nothing would be stupid enough to get close to this place after all this has become the home of the only two legged beast AKA it's master.
He met his master when it was young and kicked out of the pack for being two weak, he would have want those fools to see him now but he ate them way back so that ain't happening, anyway back to his master.
He was running or probably pissed off some powerful beast and was returning to his den, that when they met, of cause he was a bit defensive and tried to run but when what you are running from isn't even instrested in you, well it probably won't kill you.
So he moved towards the two legged beast and found that it was preparing a meal immediately his stomach grow and he moved closer carefully, the strange beast didn't attack or concern itself with his presence, just kept preparing the meat.
After it was done the beast proved generous and fed it even though he didn't help with the hunt, he was moved and decided he would stay with this beast of cause it wasn't because of the free food and protection of the strange beast,it just felt the beast was lonely and needed a pack.
It has spent over three years with his now recognized master and he still couldn't tell just how powerful his master truly was but he was sure of one thing, his master is crazy powerful.
His master is so strong he can hunt a whole pack by himself and he also heals immediately after a fight so he doesn't have to care for caution but more instrestingly he doesn't have a presence, oh it not like he suppress it or something.
That not it,he basically disappears when he is not in the line of sight so he can hunt perfectly like those snakes in the other side only he is way better because the grate maximus can sense those snakes.
Oh maximus is the name master calls him so that his name, back to the topic at hand, his master is basically unstable he has seen his master fought and won against beast whose presence alone render him immobile and scared.
He used to think his master was weak that why he has no presence but now he believes he so strong he basically can not be felt by the weak. So asking him to take guard duty seriously when he is guarding such a monster is a laughable suggestion, hmmm his master is moving.
Dante stand up from his final absorbsion of cores in the forest of death,it is finally time to return home and complete his awakening,he stared at the status of the unknown core.

It took 16 years instead of the previous 40plus but he is finally getting his eyes back and he definitely could not wait to gain assess to the complete power of the eyes because from what he could do now oh he is sure he will be the most powerful existence that has ever lived.
What can he do you asked, well let Dante introduce you to his current most favorite ability.
You see during one of my hunt i fell into a trap in the spider territory, i didn't know an S rank spider has been monitoring my movement and see even though he didn't feel anything from me the fact i was able to kill B and A rank made it decided to had me to the menu.
The worst part about all this was it was no ordinary S rank but a S+ one close to advancement,it was a fight i was not ready for and most definitely wasn't going to survive, this was how the battle went.
I had just killed a B rank spider that had been behaving strangely, instead of trying to fight for it's life i felt like it was just backing away i would have ran away but i taught hey if it's just retreating then it's probably protecting something precious.
I was blinded by my greed and didn't realize the obvious trap i was getting into of cause Sara advice for a retreat but i had improved considerably and reasoned i could handle anything,i was wrong.
I was busy taking out the core and absorbing the soul when a sensation i haven't felt since my first encounter with the A rank all those years ago appeared,it was the fear of death.
I jumped immediately and began to run in the opposite direction but i was not out running this problem,i felt something hit my back and next thing i know i was being pulled back so fast i couldn't comprehend what was happening.
Immediately i was close enough to feel the full presence i turn to face the enemy with my hand in guard position that didn't help much because i was hit so hard i was basically knocked out.
I opened my eyes and knew most of my bones were broken i could feel every part of my body screaming in pain then the mountain of a monster appeared in front of me and i knew i was about to die.
It raised one of that sword of a leg and strike down,i kept looking at the leg coming down and will my body to do anything to avoid the eminent death that was coming for me that when everything stopped.
No it's wasn't time that stop but the attack itself didn't continue it couldn't then the core i was holding was absorbed immediately and the core in my eyes acted for the first time.
It used all the mana and transport me as far as it could from my current location, that was what saved my life and also how i unlock the space ability to always protect myself from danger, even if it can only be used for a while.
Though Sara said when the eyes awaken i will be able to use it indefinitely. Also you won't believe how i have to use this ability, i basically have to trick the eyes into thinking i was about to die or be unconscious, guess who can go unconscious on demand.
I never believe i will be thanking the old man this soon for the hellish training he put me through,he basically made prepare to be untouchable in the near future, after all i know a character in my past life that was basically invisible because no one could touch him without his permission.
Though Sara said i won't be invisible but i beg to differ unless someone happens to have the power to perform a world cutting slash, yeah no one is doing shit to me.
Though i haven't discovered any more powerful abilities like this one, the eyes is currently increasing my strength and speed infact my overall physical attributes are always increasing as the eyes continue to get close to it time of awakening.
At this moment i can confidently say that I'm invisible towards any being from S rank below, though i still wouldn't win against my most hated enemy, it would most definitely wouldn't be so one sided and if push comes to shove i can most definitely run away.
Anyways it's time to return and complete my transformation i could do it here but i have learned the hard way to always follow Sara advice,so i got up and started walking outside the cave i took from a pack of wolves.
Speaking of wolves the big boy out here is called Maximus, i took him in when he was young my idea was hey what if i feed this wolf until it was strong enough and then killed it and take the core and soul wouldn't that be nice.
Well that obviously not what happened he got attached to me and lets be honest i kinda like it being around so even though he has reached the stage i previously set to kill it i didn't.

Honestly i don't think he will be able to from a pack as he has basically been domesticated by me and there is no way he will survive on his own so, Max we are leaving, i said and he got up and started walking behind me with a low grunt as response.
We are going to my home land and we will see my family, oh you must like Grandma, liking Grandpa is optional but don't try and kill him that wouldn't end well after all you are still just A rank but after you get to S rank then maybe it's would be a nice fight, though you would still lose.
