Of cause no one would believe them after all there was no such bird, but the children were not wrong or maybe they were but only about the species of the animal they, for it was not a bird and it was not flying, what they saw was a wolf that was moving through the few high buildings, heading straight for the Marquis estate.
I was sitting on maximus while he ran towards the mansion then what i expected happened, immediately they felt the presence of a A rank coming to their direction with such speed every one from A rank and above became alarmed, and came out immediately,why releasing their Aura.
To his credit max didn't even acknowledge their actions but actually pick up speed and landed in the mist of them. Everyone brought out their weapon and pointed at us but i didn't move,i just waited for the presence i knew was coming.
I pray this fools don't attack me or i wouldn't even have to do anything for them to drop dead, the leader of the group and one of the two S rank came forward and said.

I was shocked when i felt the presence of a S rank that carried more weight than mine openly charging towards the estate, even though it scared me i immediately rushed out because the fact is anything within my rank can not take my life here with those two around.
I came out and was immediately stunned when i saw what was coming for us. You see everyone on my level must have at one point or the other gone to the forest of death, it's the only place to get what we need to advance further at a faster rate.
You see from probably A rank or maybe at B+ the atmospheric mana is no longer enough for humans to advance so our only option is to absorb cores from others and since we cannot start killing each other for them we had to get it from other race and like it or not the beast are our safest bet.
When i say safest i don't mean easier i mean they are the only one that do not care that we hunt their kind, because we humans lose more than we get after all they are stronger than us.
For example i am a S rank and the beast coming here is only A rank but it's already stronger than me so you can understand my shock concerning the situation. If you add in the fact that someone is riding the beast and i can't even tell how strong said person is, well you understand why i am secretly shaking in my boot.
But they landed in our mist and did nothing but kept staring at the location where the lady of the house was coming from, that gave me a little courage after all if the witch is behind you even Kings will be wary.
So i stepped up and asked who they were while threating them with violence if they don't comply,they didn't even look like they registered my words which was annoying, but hey it's not to late to punish them when the lady Aurelia arrives, and arrived she did.
Immediately the words came out of her mouth i was shocked again because i might not be able to tell you how strong the boy on the beast back is but i can tell you for a fact if i challenge him i would die, she called him her boy as in the child that was born without a core, now I'm actually scared for the world.
Why am i scared, well if that really the child and he is as strong as i suspect then there will be war because the human rulers will want to control him before he becomes too powerful and if he refuses like i suspect he would they will try to kill him.

If my brain is currently braining then the child who is no more than 16 years of age and was born without a core just moved so fast i a bonified S rank couldn't even see him then the future of humanity is about to be dark.

Wait first off all, how did a blind child that doesn't have a core convince those two to let him go into the forest of death at such a young age. That must mean he has always been powerful even from a young age,he should have left when he was 11,my God.
That would mean at that age they were confident enough that no C rank beast could harm him, that basically saying no B rank human can kill him at that age.
Now i don't even think SS rank can kill him without paying a significant price,i mean considering he managed to tame such a powerful beast then he should have faced even stronger beast.
Wait I'm still missing the fact he was able to spend over five years in that forest and still come back in one piece, even the current me wouldn't dere think of spending more than a month in that place. It seems humanity has finally produced someone capable of challenging the other race.
