Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Level Up

The warehouse had turned into a battlefield.

Five shadow soldiers surrounded the massive armored brute.

Rhino roared inside the suit as he swung his metal fists wildly.

CLANG!

One shadow soldier was smashed into the wall.

CRASH!

Another was thrown across the warehouse.

Spider-Man flipped over Rhino's shoulder and shot a web line at the armor.

"Okay big guy!" he joked. "Maybe try anger management?"

Rhino ripped the web apart.

"SHUT UP!"

He turned and charged straight toward Fredy.

BOOM!

Each step shook the ground.

Fredy stood still.

Completely calm.

Spider-Man noticed and shouted, "Uh… shadow guy? You might wanna move!"

Fredy didn't.

Instead, he raised his hand slowly.

"Shade."

The original shadow soldier instantly moved.

Shade leapt forward and grabbed Rhino's arm.

CLANG!

Rhino tried to shake it off.

But the moment he did—

Fredy disappeared.

Shadow Dash.

He emerged from Rhino's shadow directly behind him.

Spider-Man's mask eyes widened.

"Okay, that teleport thing is seriously cool."

Fredy clenched his fist.

All the power from the Shadow Monarch template surged through his body.

Then he punched.

BAM!

The impact echoed through the warehouse.

Rhino staggered forward several steps.

Inside the armor, Rhino's eyes widened in disbelief.

"How are you this strong?!"

Fredy tilted his head slightly.

"You're not the only one with upgrades."

Rhino roared and swung both fists downward.

Fredy vanished again.

Shadow Dash.

Rhino's attack smashed into the ground.

BOOOOM!

Concrete shattered everywhere.

But Fredy reappeared above him.

Mid-air.

His fist slammed down again.

CLANG!

A crack appeared on the armor.

Spider-Man blinked.

"Did… did you just dent Rhino's armor?!"

Fredy landed lightly on the ground.

Rhino stumbled backward.

"Impossible…"

Fredy looked at the crack calmly.

"So it can break."

Rhino suddenly activated all the suit's thrusters.

The armor roared as he charged forward like a missile.

"DIE!"

Fredy didn't move.

Instead—

He pointed forward.

"Attack."

All five shadow soldiers rushed Rhino simultaneously.

They grabbed his arms.

His legs.

His shoulders.

The massive armored suit struggled violently.

Spider-Man quickly shot webs onto Rhino's legs.

"Okay! Shadow army plus webs!"

Rhino roared.

"GET OFF ME!"

But that moment of restraint was enough.

Fredy stepped forward.

His shadow stretched across the floor like liquid darkness.

Fredy whispered one word.

"Fall."

His fist struck Rhino's chest.

CRAAACK!

The damaged armor finally gave in.

Rhino's massive body crashed into the ground.

BOOM!

Silence filled the warehouse.

The giant armored suit stopped moving.

Spider-Man slowly walked closer.

"…Wow."

He crouched beside the unconscious villain.

"You actually knocked out Rhino."

Fredy looked at the system notification appearing before him.

Another screen appeared immediately.

Fredy felt a wave of energy flow through his body.

His muscles strengthened.

His senses sharpened further.

Spider-Man stood up and looked at him.

"Okay… I officially have questions."

Fredy glanced at him.

"A lot of them?"

Spider-Man nodded.

"Like… at least fifty."

Fredy turned toward the warehouse exit.

"Maybe another time."

Spider-Man raised his hand.

"Hold on!"

But Fredy's shadow stretched across the floor.

Shadow Dash activated.

In the next second—

He vanished.

Spider-Man stared at the empty space.

"…Well."

He looked down at Rhino.

"I'm definitely telling someone about this."

Somewhere Else

Inside a secure underground facility.

Multiple surveillance screens showed the entire warehouse fight.

A group of agents watched the footage in silence.

One man stood in front of the screens.

A tall figure wearing a long black coat.

One eye covered by a patch.

Nick Fury.

Fury crossed his arms as he replayed Fredy's punch breaking Rhino's armor.

Behind him, an agent spoke nervously.

"Sir… that individual just defeated Rhino alone."

Fury nodded slowly.

"I saw."

The agent hesitated.

"Should we classify him as a superhuman threat?"

Fury stared at the frozen image of Fredy on the screen.

Then he said calmly:

"Not yet."

He turned away.

"But keep watching him."

Fury's voice became serious.

"Because if that kid decides to become a villain…"

"…we're all going to have a very bad day."
