The café was quiet.
Morning sunlight streamed through the windows while the smell of fresh coffee filled the air.
Yet the atmosphere at Fredy's table felt strangely tense.
Across from him sat Black Widow.
Natasha Romanoff stirred her coffee slowly, her green eyes studying Fredy carefully.
Fredy leaned back in his chair as if none of this concerned him.
"So," Natasha said casually, "shadow monsters."
Fredy shrugged.
"Interesting way to start a conversation."
Natasha smiled slightly.
"I prefer direct questions."
Fredy rested his chin on his hand.
"And I prefer not answering them."
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Natasha finally chuckled.
"You're not scared at all."
Fredy tilted his head.
"Should I be?"
Natasha tapped the table lightly.
"You were involved in a fight with Rhino last night."
She continued.
"You used unknown abilities… summoned shadow creatures… and then disappeared."
Fredy sipped his coffee calmly.
"Sounds like a normal Tuesday."
Natasha watched him closely.
"You realize that makes you a person of interest to a lot of powerful people."
Fredy shrugged again.
"Welcome to New York."
Natasha leaned forward slightly.
"My boss wants to know whether you're a threat."
Fredy smiled faintly.
"And what do you think?"
Natasha paused.
Her instincts were sharp.
She had interrogated countless criminals and superpowered individuals.
But Fredy was different.
He showed no nervousness.
No aggression.
Just calm confidence.
Finally, Natasha said,
"I think you're hiding something."
Fredy chuckled.
"Everyone is."
Natasha stood up.
"Well, Fredy Parker…"
She placed money on the table for the coffee.
"Don't cause too much trouble."
Fredy watched her leave the café.
But just before she walked out the door—
She stopped and looked back.
"Oh."
"One more thing."
Fredy raised an eyebrow.
Natasha smirked slightly.
"Nick Fury says hello."
Then she walked away.
Fredy sighed softly.
"So they already know."
Behind him, Shade's shadow flickered briefly.
Fredy whispered quietly.
"This world really moves fast."
That Night
A dark alley in Hell's Kitchen.
Several men wearing black tactical gear waited silently.
Each of them carried weapons.
Their leader spoke quietly.
"Target confirmed."
He looked at a photo on his phone.
Fredy Parker.
"Boss wants him eliminated."
The men nodded.
They belonged to the criminal empire of Wilson Fisk.
Kingpin did not tolerate unknown threats in his territory.
And Fredy had just defeated one of his strongest assets.
So tonight…
They would remove the problem.
Meanwhile
Fredy walked through the quiet street.
Streetlights cast long shadows across the pavement.
Perfect conditions.
Fredy suddenly stopped walking.
"Come out."
The night remained silent for a moment.
Then—
Multiple figures stepped out of the darkness.
Guns pointed directly at him.
Their leader spoke coldly.
"You're Fredy Parker."
Fredy looked around calmly.
Eight men.
Professional.
Assassins.
Fredy sighed.
"Kingpin moves fast."
The men didn't answer.
One of them fired immediately.
BANG!
The bullet flew toward Fredy.
But Fredy vanished.
Shadow Dash.
He appeared behind them.
Before they could react—
BAM!
One man collapsed instantly.
Fredy moved like a ghost among them.
Punch.
Kick.
Strike.
Within seconds, most of the assassins were already on the ground.
The last man tried to escape.
Fredy raised his hand slowly.
"Arise."
Dark energy surged across the ground.
The shadows beneath the fallen assassins began to move.
One of them trembled violently.
Then—
A larger shadow soldier rose from the darkness.
Its presence felt heavier.
Stronger.
The system notification appeared.
[Elite Shadow Created]
Rank: Elite Soldier
Fredy smiled slightly.
"Looks like the army is growing."
The new shadow warrior knelt before him.
Fredy looked down at it thoughtfully.
"You need a name too."
After a moment he said,
"Knight."
The Elite Shadow bowed its head silently.
Fredy looked at the city skyline again.
Far away, the towers of Manhattan stood tall.
Fredy's eyes narrowed slightly.
"If Kingpin wants a war…"
His shadow stretched across the ground like living darkness.
"…then I'll give him one."
