Jacob stood for a while, pondering to himself while the noise around him filtered into the background, finally he had it.
'Infinite Cheat System, yes that's what i'll call it,' he thought to himself, cracking a prideful grin in honor of his naming abilities.
The boy couldn't believe his eyes, as the notifications kept coming, his eyes sparkled in excitement, he could feel the power surge all over his body, it felt soothing, like all his joints were being massaged at the same time, or like the after effects of a chiropractor's touch.
"How did that boy's power destroy a sacred artifact?" A voice chorused from the crowd.
"This has never happened in history."
One of the seven clan elders waved his hand, silencing the entire crowd, "This is truly a phenomenon, one that is unheard of." He said while stroking his long black beard, "But seeing as the awakening isn't over, the Orb will be replaced, and there will be a second awakening."
There was a collective nod of agreement from everyone on the imperial table, but the crowd roared, some demanding the ceremony be declared a failed awakening, the others demanding that the boy was a genius never seen in their history.
The noise grew louder with each passing minute until…
"SILENCE!"
A wave of powerful aura spread through the halls. Patriach Alaric had commanded complete silence, he was standing now, looking down on the people in the crowd disdainfully.
"The boy will have a second awakening and that is final, anyone who has an issue with it, can step forward and we settle it right now"
"…"
The silence was louder than the murmurs.

After a moment of waiting, when there were no objections, another nexus spirit orb of the same quality was presented, and the process was repeated.
The boy took a deep breath and placed his hand on the orb for the second time, it glowed just like before. The people watched anxiously, some even bit on their fingernails, eventually the orb stopped glowing, it didn't crack or shatter.
The hall went silent, a notification appeared over the spirit orb, bold enough for every single person to see.
The crowd gasped in astonishment, bamboozled by the words that appeared before their eyes.
"H-How!" A young disciple trembled at the verdict.
"How the hell is a 10 year old already at the Mid Earth Realm??"
"The heavens are surely playing a prank on us??"
"No child should possess that level of power."
The whole room was shocked by the discovery, in the history of the Daven Heaven continent, the highest realm that anyone had ever awoken at was the late mortal realm, this kid was certainly terrifying.
Alaric and Rhoarin looked at each other, sharing a triumphant smile, they would definitely ensure that the boy trained and achieved his fullest potential.
Elena held her hands over her mouth, it was unladylike to scream in a public space, if not, that's what she would've done.
Jacob stood there unsure of what to do next, until his father leaped out of his seat and joined him on the podium.
"Haha! That's my son!" Rhoarin roared, grabbing the boy's shoulder.
"Is this bad dad, did I fail?" Jacob asked, maintaining his naive façade before his father.
"Of course not! You are the most talented Ironfell that this world has ever seen."
"Really?" Jacob smiled, 'I must thank the regulator whenever I see him next for these gifts and start training as soon as possible," he mused.
The crowd clapped for him as he walked down the podium.
"Please, young master, join our fiery sword sect, we will ensure you have all you need!"
"No! Join our blood rival sect. We will give times two whatever you're offered."
"Join the Mortal Warrior Sect…"
"Join the…"
Various people he had never seen before kept calling out to him, the truth was that Jacob never had any intention of joining a sect, if he ever did it would be out of sheer curiousity, or for fun, he believed that with his Infinite Cheat System, he could climb to the top of the world independently.
He looked towards his left, he saw Xenia, sitting there, looking at him with a smile on her face.
"I never doubted you, young master." She said calmly, her words sending a feeling of warmth through Jacob's chest.

Alaric looked at the young boy with concern in his eyes.
"Why are you looking at him in that manner," Esty asked, noticing the look he was giving his grandson.
"Although I am happy that my grandson is a genius that has never been seen before, I am a little worried that this would mean danger for the boy." He responded, his voice filled with worry.
"That's why he has you and Rhoarin, to guide and protect him."
"And you too." Alaric told her with a smile.
"Oh trust me, if anyone tries to even touch a hair on his head! I will disintegrate them."
This made Alaric laugh hard, holding his belly in his hands, although Esty had made him feel a little better, the concern stayed at the back of his mind, but he felt confident in the fact that any adversary would have him, Esty, Rhoarin, and Elena to contend with, along with all the members of the Ironfell Clan.

The ceremony was soon over and every visitor had retired to their separate homes and places of business, Jacob sat alone in his bedroom, browsing through his system.
"System."
"I was promised a variety of cheat abilities, yet I didn't unlock a single one even after my awakening."
"How exactly do I unlock these abilities?"
"Near death?? I have to almost die before I receive a cheat ability? Preposterous, can you connect me to the regulator."
Suddenly a white figure appeared before him, it had the shape and texture of mist, but it's voice filled the room.
"Why contact me at such hour?? You haven't reached out to me in 10 years, why now?" The Regulator said.
"Why do you look different?"
"I appear differently in the mortal realm, what do you need? Oh and congratulations on your awakening."
"You promised me all cheat abilities, where are they?" Jacob pressed.
"That I did, and I believe your system has provided you with an answer."
"Yes but it wasn't satisfactory."
"You nag too much, I will grant you one ability, only one, but you have to unlock the others on your own, do not contact me again unless you have surpassed Divine realm, understood?" The regulator retorted, vanishing into thin air without even waiting for a reply.
"Sheesh! Someone's grumpy," Jacob sighed.
Just then a notification appeared before him.
