One Piece: Lone Monster
Chapter 11
After finishing his meal and fight, Garp glanced once more toward the Kuja ship before finally leaving the island. The Marine ship slowly sailed away into the distance.
Ron watched it disappear over the horizon before turning back toward Shakky and Gloriosa.
"So… are you two staying for a while?" he asked casually.
Gloriosa stretched her arms lazily, her movement deliberately slow and confident. Ron's gaze instinctively followed the motion, which did not escape her notice.
She smirked slightly at his reaction.
"Well, we just finished several raids," she said. "So we'll be returning to Amazon Lily soon."
Ron nodded calmly before cracking his knuckles.
"Fine," he replied. "But before that… show me how much you've grown."
Both Shakky and Gloriosa smiled at the challenge.
The next moment, the two women vanished from their positions and launched forward using Soru, attacking Ron from opposite directions.
Their kicks struck simultaneously.
Ron calmly raised both forearms and blocked the attacks from each side. As their limbs collided, black lightning sparks erupted from the clash of Armament Haki.
The impact pushed the surrounding air outward.
Ron suddenly pushed both of them back before stepping forward and throwing a powerful punch toward Shakky.
Shakky reacted instantly, spinning her body and meeting his fist directly with a powerful kick.
At the same moment, Gloriosa used Geppo to leap into the air and launched a kick toward Ron's back.
Ron grinned as the fight intensified.
The three of them exchanged rapid blows, fists and kicks clashing repeatedly as shockwaves rippled through the air around them.
The fight continued for nearly an hour before they finally stopped.
Ron stretched his shoulders while laughing lightly.
"Well, looks like neither of you slacked off."
He glanced at them thoughtfully.
"You two still don't want those Devil Fruits?"
"You could definitely become stronger with powerful abilities."
Ron shrugged casually.
"And I already have the perfect fruits for both of you."
Shakky calmly shook her head.
"No need."
Gloriosa also refused with a confident smile.
"Yeah. We can still grow stronger on our own."
Ron shrugged again without arguing.
"Fine."
"I'll keep them safe for you then."
Gloriosa suddenly leaned slightly closer with a seductive smile.
"You're spoiling us too much," she said softly.
"You might end up having to take responsibility."
Ron's grin widened without hesitation.
"If I were afraid of responsibility," he said casually, "do you really think I'd spoil you two like this?"
Shakky and Gloriosa both laughed, pretending to treat his answer lightly.
However, Ron clearly noticed the faint pink color appearing on their cheeks.
He smirked slightly but didn't mention it.
Ron stretched his body again before looking toward the distant sea.
"Well… looks like it's time for me to head into the New World."
Shakky and Gloriosa both turned toward him immediately.
"You're going to the New World?" they asked at the same time.
Ron nodded calmly.
"Yeah."
"The World Government has been too busy dealing with Rocks to focus on me."
"But I'm still the guy who killed Celestial Dragons."
His expression became slightly serious.
"Garp came here to warn me."
"It seems the World Government is planning to surround me soon."
Both women tensed at his words.
"How about coming to Amazon Lily instead?" Shakky suggested.
Gloriosa nodded immediately.
"You'd be safe there."
Ron looked genuinely tempted for a moment.
"Well… that does sound tempting."
"But don't worry."
He looked down at his sword resting at his side.
"My swordsmanship has been stuck at the Sword Master level for a while now."
"My Haki also hasn't broken through recently."
Gloriosa quickly understood what he meant.
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
"You're planning to fight the Rocks Pirates, aren't you?"
Ron nodded without hesitation.
"Yep."
Shakky stared at him in disbelief.
"You're insane."
Ron burst into laughter.
"Bahahaha! Relax."
"I'm not planning to die."
He shrugged casually.
"Even if I lose, the worst that could happen is that I end up joining Rocks."
"That's not exactly the end of the world."
Shakky and Gloriosa continued arguing with him for a while, clearly unhappy with his reckless plan.
In the end, however, they knew they couldn't change his mind.
Before leaving, Ron handed them his Vivre Card.
"If anything happens, you'll know where to find me," he said.
After that, the Kuja ship finally departed for Amazon Lily.
Ron watched the ship slowly disappear into the distance before spreading his massive black wings.
He rose into the sky and turned toward the direction of the New World.
It was finally time to fight the true monsters of the sea.
