One Piece: Lone Monster
Chapter 10
Ron walked toward the Kuja ship with his hands casually tucked in his pockets. His sharp eyes moved over the familiar figures stepping onto the island.
"So, why are Empress Gloriosa and First Mate Shakky here?" Ron asked in a relaxed tone.
Gloriosa crossed her arms and looked at him calmly. "I was hungry, so I came here. Do you have a problem with that?"
Ron rolled his eyes in response.
"You think this is a restaurant where you can come and eat whenever you want?" he said dryly.
Shakky smiled charmingly as she stepped forward. "Ara… but every time we arrive, the food is already prepared before we even land. Why is that?"
Her beautiful smile could easily make most pirates lose their minds.
Ron, however, looked completely unaffected.
"Hah, Shakky, do you think I'm one of those lovesick idiots who bows to your beauty like other pirates?"
Shakky only smiled wider, clearly amused.
"Of course not," she replied calmly. "But the food is already prepared."
Ron rolled his eyes again before shrugging.
"Just because I don't act like a lovesick idiot doesn't mean I don't enjoy beautiful women eating with me," he said casually.
He glanced toward Gloriosa with a faint grin.
"Right, Gloriosa?"
Gloriosa burst out laughing at his words.
"In that case, you'll be treating the entire Kuja crew to a meal."
Ron simply smiled.
"Like I always do."
At that moment, Shakky was only eighteen years old, but her presence was already captivating. The Kuja warriors soon gathered around the long table Ron had prepared.
The feast quickly began.
Ron was a man surrounded by many beautiful women. Naturally, he enjoyed the lively atmosphere, especially with Shakky and Gloriosa sitting near him.
Gloriosa and Shakky both began tasting the food Ron had prepared.
Ron had collected dishes from many islands during his travels, and thanks to his inventory, every meal remained warm and fresh as if it had just been cooked.
While eating, Ron glanced toward Gloriosa.
"So, did you run into the Roger Pirates?"
Gloriosa shook her head.
"No," she replied. "They're being hunted by Garp right now."
"We'd rather stay away from that battle junkie."
Ron's smile suddenly turned mischievous.
"Well… looks like your luck today is pretty bad."
Shakky narrowed her eyes slightly.
"What do you mean?"
Ron simply grinned.
"Oh, nothing much."
"The battle junkie is already here."
Both Gloriosa and Shakky stiffened slightly at those words.
Ron burst into laughter.
"Bahahaha! Relax. Enjoy your food."
"That guy won't cause trouble for you."
Ron stood up from the table.
"I'll go greet him."
He casually walked toward the shore just as a Marine ship appeared in the distance.
A figure suddenly leapt off the ship and launched himself toward the island using Geppo, moving through the air with explosive speed.
Ron immediately used Geppo as well, shooting forward to meet him.
The two figures collided midair.
Their fists smashed into each other, releasing a massive shockwave that blasted the surrounding air in every direction.
Even the sea below rippled from the impact.
"Hey, tell your Marines not to go after them," Ron said while continuing the fight.
Garp briefly glanced toward the Kuja ship in the distance.
"Kuja, huh?"
He then turned toward his ship.
"Hey! Don't disturb my fight!" he shouted loudly.
With that settled, Ron and Garp continued battling high in the air using Geppo, exchanging powerful punches one after another.
"Fist Bone Impact!"
"Fist Bone Impact!"
Both of them used the exact same technique, their fists colliding repeatedly as powerful winds roared across the island.
Back on the shore, Shakky and Gloriosa calmly watched the aerial battle while continuing to eat.
Bogard turned toward the Marines on the ship.
"Prepare to land," he ordered calmly.
"And start preparing food."
"No fighting with the Kuja."
He adjusted his glasses slightly.
"Without Vice Admiral Garp, we wouldn't stand a chance anyway."
"Yes, sir!"
The Marines quickly followed his orders, landing on the island and beginning to prepare their own food nearby.
Shakky and Gloriosa both stared at the chaotic situation before sighing.
"Those two are unbelievable," Shakky muttered.
Since neither side showed any hostility, the Kuja warriors simply continued their meal while watching the aerial battle like it was entertainment.
Gloriosa quietly observed Ron and Garp laughing while exchanging punches that could easily destroy mountains.
Over time, her feelings toward Ron had slowly deepened.
Unlike most men, Ron had never ignored her just because of Shakky's beauty.
Sometimes Gloriosa even felt jealous, but Shakky was like a sister to her.
Still, it always hurt when people only paid attention to Shakky and overlooked her.
Ron was one of the very few people who always treated both of them equally.
Shakky felt something similar.
Ron was the only man who didn't behave like an idiot around her.
When he trained her and Gloriosa, he treated both of them the same.
Ron had once openly said something that surprised them.
"I'm a man," he had laughed. "Of course I'll be attracted to two beautiful women like Shakky and Gloriosa."
"But attraction doesn't mean disrespect."
He had always kept a respectful distance.
That alone made him very different from the countless pirates who only looked at Shakky with lust, possession, or domination in their eyes.
Both women also remembered another moment clearly.
This same man, carrying an 800 million berry bounty, had once been laughing and playing with children after rescuing them from slave traders.
Afterward, he had secretly sent those children to an island where Marines would find them and return them to their homes.
Ron was completely different from the pirates who only knew how to steal, kill, and destroy.
In truth, the only crime he had truly committed was killing Celestial Dragons.
Several hours later, Ron and Garp finally landed back on the island.
Both of them were laughing loudly.
Their clothes were torn, and small traces of blood could be seen on their lips, but neither of them seemed bothered.
Without saying anything, the two immediately sat down and began competing to see who could eat more food.
Shakky and Gloriosa looked at them for a moment before bursting into laughter.
Even after everything, their childish rivalry had never changed.
