Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 – Beyond the Sky

From above… the planet Azdora looked deceptively calm.

Five vast continents stretched across its surface, each one different from the other.

Dense forests covered enormous lands, endless plains reached beyond sight, jagged mountain ranges rose sharply, and barren deserts remained untouched by any living step.

Oceans surrounded these continents—deep and dark—reflecting the light of a small sun hanging in the sky.

That sun, smaller than the one Orion once knew, still provided enough warmth for life to exist.

And when night fell…

Two moons appeared.

Larger than the moon he remembered from his past life, they filled the sky with a cold, silvery glow, reflecting over the waters and giving the world an almost dreamlike atmosphere.

From this height, everything seemed under his control.

An entire world… moving slowly according to the rules he had set.

But—

He paused.

A strange feeling passed through him.

Something… did not belong to this world.

Somewhere far beyond Azdora, there was a presence.

A being that had not noticed the birth of this planet before… until now.

Then—

A gaze.

Orion saw nothing.

Yet his entire body froze.

An invisible pressure crushed him from every direction.

It wasn't physical… it was something deeper.

As if his very existence had suddenly become… heavy.

The void around him seemed to bend for a brief moment,

the distant stars dimmed,

as if the universe itself had fallen silent…

For that thing.

His instincts screamed:

Run.

But he couldn't.

He didn't move.

A drop of sweat slid slowly down his forehead—something he had never experienced before.

But now…

It felt as if an entire sun had been placed above his head.

He was weak.

The presence was cold… vast… incomprehensible.

Something that couldn't be resisted… not even understood.

For the first time—

Orion did not feel like a creator.

But something… small.

Then, just as suddenly as it began—

It vanished.

The pressure disappeared.

The void returned to normal.

The stars regained their light.

As if nothing had ever happened.

That being simply… lost interest.

It saw no threat.

It saw nothing worth noticing.

The presence was gone…

But the feeling remained.

Orion stood still, his chest rising and falling heavily, as if even the air had grown heavier.

For the first time… he felt suffocated.

Not because of an external force—

But because of his own weakness.

He had thought himself powerful. A creator. A ruler over life and death…

And deep inside, a quiet arrogance had begun to grow.

But that single moment…

Shattered everything.

In an instant, he understood the harsh, simple truth:

He was not strong.

Not yet.

Slowly, he lowered his gaze toward Azdora.

That primitive world…

The humans…

Adam…

All of them were under his responsibility.

And if that being ever returned—

There would be nothing he could do.

His hand clenched slowly.

"I need to become stronger…"

It wasn't a wish.

It was a necessity.

He kept staring at his world, but his взгляд was no longer the same.

He no longer saw it as just an experiment…

But as something that had to be protected.

And as time passed…

That feeling never faded.

It remained carved deep within him—

A constant reminder…

Of how weak he truly was.
