"Ash, what exactly is the 'Toxic Touch' skill?"
On the way to Saffron City, Elesa curiously asked about the "Toxic Touch" skill. Since Ash had explicitly authorized its use, there had to be a specific reason for it. Misty, Yellow, and Brock also perked up their ears, eager to hear the explanation.
"Toxic Touch, huh? Actually, Toxic Touch is a skill specifically used for killing enemies."
"K-Killing enemies?!" x3
"That's right... You guys already know I have extensive medical knowledge. Well, I can also proudly call myself an authority when it comes to toxins. I specifically collected various venoms, formulated them batch by batch, and finally created a highly corrosive and incredibly lethal venom. This venom was made possible largely thanks to the Alolan Muk and Salazzle. I constantly diluted this mixed venom and slowly fed it to my Poison-type Pokémon, allowing them to use it while simultaneously developing antibodies. Finally, the ultimate Poison-type move, 'Toxic Touch,' was complete. It's a terrifying ability that poisons the opponent upon mere contact, and if more power is applied, it can directly corrode the enemy."
"Wait... Poison-type Pokémon. Don't tell me?"
Thinking of a certain possibility, Brock looked at Ash in surprise. Ash nodded and said, "That's right. The Poison-type Pokémon at my home are the ultimate insurance. No one would ever imagine that the truly most dangerous protection has always been lurking in the shadows, right?"
Meanwhile, back at Ash's home. An Arbok was handing two small beads over to Gastly.
"Chaa!"
"You're saying you want me to absorb the venom inside these beads? I get it. But what the heck is this stuff? It feels incredibly dangerous."
"Chaa!"
"Alright, but how did Ash even manage to create something so dangerous?" Saying this, Gastly swallowed the beads into its stomach and began absorbing the power of the venom.
Arbok then slowly slithered away. It had only shown itself this time to hand over the condensed venom beads it had refined to Gastly. Otherwise, Arbok generally protected the house from the shadows. As Ash's strongest Poison-type Pokémon, tempered with special venoms, Arbok's own poison could easily take down a Champion-level Pokémon. And precisely because of this, this venomous snake and its clan were Ash's ultimate line of defense. As for those fools who silently infiltrated Ash's home, Arbok and the Ekans clan didn't mind using their venom to 'dispose' of them.

Arbok simply nodded. Actually, it knew that both Delia and Rin were completely aware of its actions in the shadows. But both women implicitly approved of it. This was a testament to their trust in Ash, and their trust in Arbok itself. Otherwise, absolutely no one would dare let a venomous snake like Arbok roam freely around their home.
Delia usually seemed quite airheaded and natural, but she knew everything Ash had sacrificed. Although Ash was indeed very successful, his success brought along quite a bit of trouble. There were many factions that wanted to kidnap Delia to extort Ash. After all, it was quite easy for various organizations to discover that Ash was the boss of the Continental Hotel. However, they absolutely lacked the guts to launch a full-scale attack on Pallet Town... so they constantly sent people to sneak in. And the result was that these dispatched fools all became fertilizer for the mountain behind Pallet Town.

Following that, a tiny Ekans slithered up Rin's arm and hid inside her sleeve. Rin didn't feel any discomfort from this. After all, the era she used to live in was incredibly dangerous. If it hadn't been for Ash (Aaron) and Lucario protecting the place she lived, there would probably have been far more attacks. Now that she had a means to protect herself, she felt much more at ease.
"Please rest assured, I will take good care of her."

Upon receiving Rin's promise, Arbok completely faded into the shadows, waiting for those overestimating fools to show up once again. It had only one mission: to obliterate anyone who dared to lay a hand on Delia and the others.
