"ROAR!" Boom! With a ferocious roar, Charizard directly charged into the Pokémon of the Kaz and Yas Gyms, followed immediately by the sound of continuous beatdowns. It was obvious Charizard wasn't using Flamethrower this time, opting for close combat instead. The reason for this was very simple: to adapt to his newly evolved body and wings.
Ash nodded in satisfaction at Charizard's actions. Charizard was right to do this; only under these circumstances could he better adapt to his evolved body. Plus, letting Charizard absolutely curbstomp some noobs wasn't a bad idea either.
"Well done, Charizard! Just use these guys as punching bags to practice and stretch your muscles!"
"Roar!" (No problem!)
Watching Charizard constantly attack with his fists and claws, Meowth couldn't help but laugh: "Looks like he really enjoys using his claws too. Not bad. Even though special attacks are highly effective, sometimes the most primal methods are very important."
"Exactly... So let's let Charizard start sharpening his claws now. Meowth, as his senior, you have to teach him well."
"Meow, no problem!"
"Pika pi?" (What about me?) Watching Pikachu point a tiny finger at himself, asking what he could teach, Ash laughed and said, "Wait until we get an Electric-type kid, then you can teach them."
"Pika pi!" (Deal!)
While they were talking, Charizard had already started brutally beating his opponents. He was using Dragon Claw and Fire Punch. Having used TM long ago, Charizard could finally use these two moves effortlessly. The Primeape next to him was doing the same. Even though these opponents weren't much to look at, reviewing the feeling of beating people up was still pretty good. Thus, Primeape very consciously started busting out his trademark barrage!
"Ora ora ora ora!!!"
As Primeape began a merciless, inhuman beatdown on a Rhydon, the other Pokémon retreated backward in fear. However, they hadn't taken more than a few steps before a Tyranitar blocked their path from behind.
"Roar!"
"Tyranitar, use Hyper Beam!"
Hearing Suzie's command, the Dark Tyranitar began gathering energy in its mouth. Then, under the panicked gazes of the crowd of Pokémon, it blasted out a devastating beam that instantly ravaged the street. Charizard and Primeape, having knocked over their opponents, quickly evacuated the battlefield to avoid the crossfire.
When the light from the Hyper Beam dissipated, all the Pokémon belonging to the Kaz and Yas Gym grunts were lying unconscious on the ground.
Seeing their underlings taken out, Kaz and Yas wanted to help, but they couldn't get away. Because Bulbasaur and Squirtle were preparing to deal the final blow to their Pokémon.
"Squirtle, Skull Bash. Bulbasaur, Solar Beam. It's over..."
"Squirtle!" (I don't even need my Supreme Headbutt for this!)
"Saur!" (It's over!)
As Ripple energy began generating from Squirtle and Bulbasaur's bodies, their auras continuously rose. Seeing this, Kaz and Yas hurriedly warned their Pokémon.
"Electabuzz, use Thunderbolt on Squirtle!"
"Scyther, use Slash!"
"Roar!"
"Cha!"
Swapping targets, Electabuzz and Scyther each rushed toward the opponent that was advantageous to them. However, when Electabuzz's Thunderbolt struck Squirtle, a water-like protective barrier around Squirtle shielded it. At the same time, Squirtle's large head, fueled by the power of Skull Bash, slammed heavily into Electabuzz's stomach. The immense power and impact nearly made Electabuzz throw up as it was sent flying backward.
On the other side, Scyther was even worse off! Before it could even get close to Bulbasaur, it was hit by a powerful Solar Beam. However, because it was partly Flying-type, even though Bulbasaur was much stronger, it still managed to withstand the attack.
"Great job, Scyther! Go, use X-Scissor this time!"
Seeing his Scyther withstand Bulbasaur's Solar Beam, Yas grew excited. However, Ash's next words plunged him into the abyss.
"Bulbasaur, Solar Beam rapid-fire! Keep shooting until Scyther can't get back up!"
"Saur!"
Ripple energy gathered on Bulbasaur once more, and subsequently, Scyther suffered inhumane abuse.
"Saur! Saur! Saur!" (Fire! Fire! Fire!)
Boom! Boom! Boom!
When the fourth Solar Beam struck Scyther, it finally couldn't hold on and collapsed.
Ash jumped down from the roof, looked at Kaz and Yas, and said, "So, had enough fighting?"
Seeing Ash act like this, Kaz and Yas grabbed whatever objects were nearby and charged straight at him.
"We're going to teach you a lesson!"
Seeing the two still acting so stubbornly, Ash revealed a dark smile while cracking his knuckles, displaying a heavy pair of brass knuckles.
"Hahahaha, you really haven't learned your lesson, huh? Then I won't hold back!"
After a symphony of violent beatdown noises, Ash, Chansey, Meowth, Pikachu, and Eevee were standing triumphantly on top of Kaz and Yas. Meanwhile, Kaz and Yas were lying on the ground, beaten black and blue, groaning in pain.
Ash took off his brass knuckles, looked down at Kaz and Yas, and declared, "This battle goes to the Traveler's Team!"
