The Noble Students
Later that day Kael was walking through the academy halls when three students blocked his path.
They wore expensive uniforms.
Clearly nobles.
One of them spoke.
"So you're the commoner with the strange magic."
Kael looked bored.
"Move."
The noble laughed.
"You think someone like you belongs here?"
Mana gathered in his hand.
"Let's see how strong you really are."
Kael closed his eyes.
The system window appeared.
[COMBAT MODE ACTIVATED]
Kael smiled slightly.
"Well…"
"This should be quick."
Darkness spread across the floor.
The nobles suddenly realized something.
They had picked the wrong opponent.
