Ranking Test
The academy arena was crowded again the next morning.
Students stood in long lines while instructors prepared the ranking test.
Professor Valen raised his voice.
"Today you will fight magical constructs. Your performance will determine your ranking."
Large stone gates opened.
From inside, armored magical warriors stepped out
They were golems created for combat training.
Kael looked interested.
"So this decides our rank?"
Leon smirked beside him.
"Try not to embarrass yourself."
The test began.
One by one, students stepped into the arena.
Some defeated a single golem.
Some lost instantly.
Then it was Kael's turn.
The moment he entered, three golems activated.
Students gasped.
"That's impossible…"
Kael cracked his neck.
"Three?"
"That's it?"
Dark energy gathered around him.
Within seconds, the first golem was cut in half.
The second shattered under an Abyss Blade.
The third tried to attack—
But Kael appeared behind it.
Shadow Step.
The golem collapsed.
Silence filled the arena.
The ranking board lit up.
