The next day Kael decided to test his new ability.
He walked deep into the forest outside the academy.
Activating the skill, darkness spread across the ground.
From the shadows, something began forming.
A creature made of pure darkness.
A wolf.
Its glowing purple eyes looked at Kael.
The system appeared.

Kael smiled slightly.
"Looks like I have a companion now."
The wolf bowed its head.
