Leon's Inferno
The fight quickly spread across the ruin chamber. Several Void Hunters attempted to surround Kael while others focused on Leon.
Leon cracked his neck slightly.
"You guys really like attacking in groups," he muttered.
The hunters lunged forward together.
Leon simply smiled.
Blue flames erupted violently around his body.
"Inferno Field!"
The temperature in the chamber skyrocketed instantly. A massive wave of blue fire expanded outward, forcing the hunters to jump back or risk being burned alive.
One of the hunters attempted to attack from behind.
Leon turned instantly.
"Too slow."
He slammed his hand into the ground. A pillar of blue fire exploded upward, sending the hunter crashing into the wall.
Kael glanced over briefly.
"You've improved."
Leon smirked.
"Don't sound so surprised."
Meanwhile the hunter captain pushed harder against Kael's defenses.
"You're distracted," the captain said.
Kael responded instantly, his blade moving faster than before.
"Not really."
The Abyss Ring glowed again, and Kael felt his control over the abyss deepen further.
The battle was beginning to shift in their favor.
