"What nonsense is this?! How can anything happen to Vishal?"
"He was human, not God—of course something could happen to him."
Hearing about Vishal's death, Vijay is completely shaken. He remembers that call and the note again.
His heart starts racing. His breathing becomes heavy.
In a trembling voice, he mutters,
"He's not dead… he's alive."
Seeing Vijay's condition, Inspector Akhil decides not to question him further. He gently pats his shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Vijay. But I'm just doing my investigation. I know you and Vishal were very close friends, but—"
"Not were. We are friends."
"How can you be so sure that Vishal is dead? Have you found his body?"
"No. We haven't found his body yet, but the investigation is ongoing."
"Then you shouldn't believe such claims without proof. Maybe one of Vishal's enemies kidnapped him and sent fake videos."
"But who would do that, and why?"
"What's so surprising? Vishal was a police officer. In that profession, enemies are inevitable."
"You have a point."
"Alright then, we'll come back to you after we find Vishal's body."
"Okay, thank you for cooperating. And sorry—we're just doing our job."
Akhil leaves, but his suspicion toward Vijay doesn't go away—in fact, it grows stronger.
With no solid evidence, he has no choice but to leave for now.
Vijay goes back to the hotel room where Alka is.
"Alka, we need to leave."
"Why? What happened? We just arrived, and now you want to leave?"
Vijay's eyes fill with tears. As he looks at her, a tear rolls down.
Seeing this, Alka comes closer and gently touches his shoulder.
"What happened, Vijay? Why are you crying? Is everything okay?"
With a heavy voice, Vijay says,
"Vishal… is dead."
Although Alka doesn't actually care, she pretends to be sad.
"What are you saying, Vijay?! How did this happen? Who killed him? Why?"
"I don't know… but I think he killed Vishal."
"Who?"
"Nothing…"
Wiping his tears, Vijay says,
"We need to leave immediately. I also need my phone. You pack the luggage—I'll check out."
"Okay."
While packing, a photo falls from Alka's bag.
As she looks at it, her eyes fill with tears… but suddenly, she sees that same burnt face in the picture.
Shocked, she drops it.
Just as she's about to pick it up, Vijay enters the room.
Seeing him, she quickly pushes the photo under the bed with her foot.
"Done packing?"
"Yes."
"Let's go."
They leave Mussoorie and stop for a while at the old hotel.
There, Inspector Akhil is already present.
"Hello, Vijay."
"You… here?"
"Yes. I was waiting for you."
"For me? Why?"
"Because I needed to check your phone. You may not know, but videos of Vishal's murder were sent to all police officers from your phone."
"That's enough evidence to suspect you. But without finding Vishal's body, arresting you… isn't a good idea."
"I was about to leave, but we received a call from your phone. Someone was crying and begging for their life."
"When we tracked the location, it led us here. And we found out this phone belongs to you."

"Yes."
