Just then, Anam says,
"Baba, we want to meet your Guru, Aghori Rudra ji."
"Guru ji!?"
"Yes."
"For any specific purpose?"
"Yes, we need an answer to a very important question… and only Rudra ji can answer it."
"Alright, I will take you all to him… but—"
"But what, Baba?"
"But not today. Guru ji has gone somewhere for a spiritual task. He will return after three days, after completing his Bhairav worship. Only then will I be able to introduce you to him. Until then, you all must wait."
Just then Ajay says to Anam,
"Bro, we can wait… but will those two who are after our lives wait?"
"Then take us to some other good practitioner."
"I can take you… but I can't guarantee whether they will be able to help you or not. Because till now, I've only seen Guru Rudra as truly skilled in these matters. The rest seem like frauds. Still, if you all want, you can take the risk."
"No, we don't want to take any risk. We'll wait for three days."
Meanwhile, Alka reaches Kolkata and, tracking Vijay, arrives at Nimtala Ghat.
As the three boys are returning home with Anam, Vijay catches a glimpse of Alka's face. He starts following her to talk to her.
"Hey! Vijay, what happened? Who are you looking for?"
"Alka."
"What!?"
The three of them laugh.
"Bro, we know you love Alka a lot… but this kind of madness? Seeing someone who isn't even here?"
"She's here. I saw her just now."
"But how is that possible? She—"
"I don't know… but I saw her."
After searching for a while and not finding her, Vijay is about to leave when he again catches a glimpse of Alka.
"Vijay, if you want to stay here and lose your sleep, that's your choice. But we're really sleepy. It's 2:30 at night. If you want to come, come… otherwise stay here and spend time with these funeral pyres remembering Alka."
Saying this, the three leave. But Vijay stays back, searching for Alka.
While searching, when he comes outside the cremation ground, he sees Alka sitting by the riverbank.
"Alka?" he calls from behind.
Alka turns, sees Vijay, and becomes very happy. She tightly hugs him.
"Alka, how are you here?"
"Well, you didn't take me with you… I didn't like being alone there, so I came here to you. Why did you leave me alone?"
"Sorry, Alka… I had some very important work here. That's why I thought it wasn't right to bring you along."
"Oh really? Then fine—go away from here!"
(She pushes him)
"I have no interest in becoming an obstacle in your work. I don't know you, and you don't know me. So as long as we are both in Kolkata, we won't talk to each other. Understood?"
"Alka, that's not what I meant…"
"Whatever you meant doesn't matter. I don't know you anymore. Don't follow me, or I'll file a police complaint and send you to jail."
"Good night."
Alka starts walking away, but Vijay tries to stop her. In the process, her foot twists and she falls into the water.
Vijay immediately jumps into the river—because Alka doesn't know how to swim.
In the darkness of the night, he searches desperately… but can't find her.
"Alka! Alka! Where are you? Please answer!"
But there is no sound… no scream… no response.
He keeps diving into the water again and again—searching from one side to the other throughout the night. Every time he comes out, he dives back in with the hope that maybe this time he will find her.
Exhausted, his body aching, Vijay finally sits at the edge of the ghat and starts crying.
Morning arrives.
People come and go, seeing Vijay crying—but no one cares. After all, it's a cremation ground. People often cry there remembering their loved ones.
Meanwhile, Ajay and Vikas look for Vijay and realize he hasn't returned since night.
"Ajay, call Vijay. See where he is."
Ajay calls many times, but Vijay doesn't pick up.
"What happened?"
"He's not answering."
"Vikas… what if those two did something to him too, like Ravi, Vinay, and Vishal?"
"Are you crazy? Stop talking nonsense. Let's go to the ghat."
They reach the ghat and start searching. Then Ajay spots him.
"Vikas! Come here… look!"
"What?"
"There—at the edge of the ghat… Vijay is sitting."
"Yes… but what is he doing there?"
"Remembering Alka, what else?"
They laugh and walk toward him.
"Hey crazy! What are you doing here? Didn't you find your Alka?"
"No, Vikas… Alka is very special. She will only meet Vijay. We can't even see her."
"Hello Alka! How are you? All good?"
They mock him loudly and laugh.
But Vijay says nothing.
He just sits there silently… with tears in his eyes.
