When Ajay and Vikas move a little closer to Vijay, they can clearly see the tears in his eyes. Both of them feel very strange.
Ajay goes and sits beside Vijay, places his hand on his shoulder, and gently says,
"Sorry, man… for making fun of you.
Is Alka very angry with you?

Ajay and Vikas can't understand what has happened to him.

Vikas tries calling Alka, but her phone shows not reachable.
"What happened, Vikas?"
"Alka's phone is not reachable."
Somehow, both of them bring Vijay from the ghat to Anam's house.
Anam touches Vijay's body and says,
"Vijay has a fever."
"What!?"
"Yes, feel it—his body is burning."
Ajay also touches his forehead and feels that his body is burning like a hot pan, and due to chills, his whole body is shivering.
Meanwhile, Ravi, who is locked inside Alka's house, somehow manages to open the handcuffs on his hands and tries to get out of the room. Even after looking carefully all around, he finds no door to exit. Like a madman, he keeps trying to scratch and break the walls using whatever objects he finds, but nothing works.
On the other side, Inspector Akhil is stuck in his own confusion. He is unable to solve the mystery of that video. However, he suspects Vijay, so he goes to Vijay's house to meet him. But upon reaching there, he finds out that Vijay has gone to Kolkata for some work.
He feels this as an opportunity.
At midnight, Inspector Akhil enters Vijay's house and thoroughly searches it. He finds an album containing many pictures of those two friends. He also finds something else…
a medical report.
Taking the report, Inspector Akhil leaves.
Meanwhile, Vikas and Ajay get Vijay treated. When Vijay regains consciousness, he starts crying uncontrollably again.
"What happened to you, Vijay? Tell us."
Crying, Vijay tells them everything that happened at the ghat the previous night.
"Vijay, I think all this—"
Vikas stops Ajay and says,
"Don't say anything."
Then Vijay says,
"I also feel that Ajay might be right.
How is it possible that Alka disappeared the moment she fell into the water?
There was no scream… no call for help."
"I think maybe Alka did this intentionally."
"What are you trying to say?"
"Why are you getting angry, Vijay? I'm just saying—
you told us that Alka didn't want to talk to you.
So maybe she didn't call out to you on purpose, and after coming out of the water, she went somewhere.
And didn't she say that as long as we are in Kolkata, she won't talk to you?
So maybe nothing is as we are thinking, right?"
"If that's true, then I hope you're right.
I'm going back home right now.
If Alka is alive, she will definitely come home."
"But Vijay—"

Vijay gets up to leave for home, but just then he receives a call. From the other side, he hears the sound of some machine running.

"Maybe it's Alka calling me."

Vijay answers the call. Again, he hears the sound of a machine running.
"What happened? Who is it?"
"I don't know… I can only hear some machine sound."
"Who is this? Why are you calling and troubling me like this?"
Then, from the other side, someone laughs and says,
"Didn't recognize me?
What happened? Looking for Alka?
Do you know where she is right now?
In the jaws of death."
"Who are you? Hello? Hello?"
But the call gets disconnected.
"What happened, Vijay?"
