Kairos woke up in the morning, ready to go to school for the college exam. But his normal route to school was blocked. He got to take another route. While going, he was ambushed by three of Zhen's people, but he beat them up. Almost getting late for the college exam, the exam invigilator wanted to deny him entry, saying he's late. "It's clearly Zhen behind all of this," Kairos thought.
Just as things looked grim, the same man from the car the other day came to Kai's defense. "I was there, and he was late for a reason. And also, he arrived exactly before the end time, so he's allowed in." The teacher saluted the man, "Instructor jin of Shadows Martial Club in Xu District."
Kairos remembered Zhen saying something about a martial club, but he wasn't all for that. He was just there to write his exam.
The invigilator nodded, "Alright, let him in."
Kairos entered the exam hall, eyes locked on the papers. Time to focus.
The man (Instructor jin) nodded at Kairos as he passed. Kairos didn't notice; he was too focused on the exam
Kairos nodded respectfully at Instructor Shadows before entering the exam hall. As he took his seat, he let out a breath. Time to focus.
Inside, Zhen and his minions started causing a commotion. They began breaking things, shouting, and creating chaos in the exam hall. The noise was distracting, pressure-building. Kairos' eyes narrowed. He couldn't focus.
He fented, trying to keep calm. But the stress was too much. Suddenly, Kairos' vision blurred. He hit the ground, blacking out.
The students gasped as tye medic rushed in and take Kia to the hospital
Zhen smiled coldly, thinking, "One way or another, you'll fall."
After taking my love you think you will enter military not on my watch
...Hewas taking to the hospital
The scene shifted. Lena came rushing into the hospital room. Kairos was already awake, looking pale.
Kairos: Lena what happened you fainted three days ago in the exam hall I was so worried
Kairos managed a weak smile. "Just a bit too much stress, I guess."
Lena's eyes narrowed. "Zhen, right? I'll kill him."
Kairos shook his head. "No, don't. I'll handle it."
Instructor jin walked in
Lena turned to him. "Instructor jin! Do you know what happened?"
Instructor jin nodded. "I'll look into it. Kairos, rest for now
The scene shifted. Kairos reached home, looking defeated. He checked the college admission results – he didn't get in.
He sat on the couch, thinking about Instructor Shadows' words. His mind wandered back to the hospital...
Instructor Shadows: "Your gripping power is at least 400, and your hitting power might exceed 1000. You are a natural, Kairos."
Kairos (weakly): "Instructor Jin... I'm sorry I failed you after helping me a lot."
Instructor jin patted Kairos' shoulder: "Don't be discouraged. You have many opportunities. The other day, I saw you fight those three senior martial club students – you were amazing. You're more than qualified to apply for the test field of being a warrior."
Kairos' eyes widened: "A warrior?" What that?
He asked
Instructor jin: "Unlike the college exam, you just need to pass the test, and you'll be awarded a Star Ruins warrior. But there are other requirements. Only after testing will we figure it out."
Back to present. Kairos' face lit with determination.
If I w take the test field I will be able to protect mum mum won't have to look for part time job anymore.
"Tomorrow, I'll take the test."
He made up his mind – he'd take the risk, become a warrior, and secure his family's future.
