Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Light of Hope

The war between the races across the Land of Luminous Flame has left it in ruins. The Lightlock race took the lead in ending the conflict, bringing a fragile peace. However, after the peace talks, outsiders from neighboring lands attempted to seize the Land of Luminous Flame, drawn by its beauty and gold. To protect their homeland, the Lightlock people sacrificed themselves to create an Ultimate Warrior. Now, only 23 pure-blooded Lightlocks remain, and they are no longer reproducing, weary from endless battles.

‎Afterdark, the sky began to shower lights across the world. The Land of Luminous Flame witnessed the Blessings of Light descend upon the Stone of Light. From this miracle, a baby was born—without a name and without parents. King Henry of Lucindor traveled to the site where the Fallen Light had landed. Struck by the sight of the lifeless Lightlock race, he commanded his men to adopt the child, watching solemnly as the last of the Lightlocks lay fallen.

‎The nameless baby was adopted by King Henry's loving wife. Their first son, Leonidas Vanguard, had been slain during the war. The queen suggested naming the baby after their fallen son, but King Henry hesitated, feeling it might be wrong to replace their own child with someone else's. In the end, he agreed, with a slight change, and the child was named "Leoruxion". However, they could not give him the royal surname, as he was not biologically their own. Seeing this, King Henry's most trusted knight proposed giving the boy the last name Lightlock, honoring the legacy of the fallen race.

‎Five years later, Leoruxion began to show faint signs of his mysterious power. King Henry realized that the boy could be trained into a great warrior, capable of protecting their city from unknown threats. He instructed his trusted knight, Gabriel, to train Leoruxion every day. Unlike other children, Leoruxion spent most of his time honing his skills, living a life of discipline and training.

‎After years of rigorous practice, Leoruxion finally discovered the full extent of his abilities, and Gabriel, who had been by his side all along, noticed it as well. The bond between them grew stronger than any Leoruxion had known. With his powers developing, Leoruxion began to dream of adventure beyond the city walls. Driven by curiosity, he started using his abilities to explore the lands outside, wandering farther than anyone ever expected.

‎Leoruxion wandered through the forest and stumbled upon someone being chased by minions of the Darklord. The man, an elf, tried to get up, but Leoruxion stopped him, asking why he was running in such a hurry. The elf ignored him and continued fleeing, unwilling to waste time on a conversation. Intrigued, Leoruxion followed, quickly realizing that the elf might be dangerous—he had apparently stolen an orb from the Sunder Dark Forest and could expose him.

‎The elf tried to threaten Leoruxion with his sword, but then noticed the Darklord's minions still in pursuit. Realizing they had a bigger threat to worry about, the elf called for Leoruxion to follow him. Leoruxion hesitated, but when the elf apologized for his rudeness, he decided to trust him. Together, they ran, dodging the minions as they fled deeper into the forest.

‎After an hour of running, they finally found a place to hide from the pursuing minions. Leoruxion turned to the elf and asked his name. The elf replied, "They call me Sol," explaining that it was his last name, but his people preferred to use it as his identifier. Leoruxion introduced himself, and Sol's eyes widened in shock when he realized that Leoruxion was the adopted son of the king.

‎Curious, Sol asked why he was wandering outside the city. Leoruxion simply answered that he wanted to explore the world. Sol then asked if he could fight, to which Leoruxion replied, "I don't know." Sol laughed, but their moment of levity was cut short as the minions discovered their hiding place.

‎The minions charged at Sol, but Leoruxion acted instinctively, striking down two of them before they could reach his companion. The remaining seven minions now recognized him as a threat. Leoruxion and Sol teamed up, fighting side by side. The battle was intense, a true test of all the years of training Leoruxion had endured under Gabriel. In the end, the two of them emerged victorious, defeating the minions and surviving the first major battle of Leoruxion's life.

‎Leoruxion finally asked Sol why he had been running and noticed something in Sol's hand. It was the corrupted orb from the forest. Sol explained that he needed the orb to forge his double-edged blade, which would allow him to defeat the strongest elf in the land. Understanding the importance of Sol's mission, Leoruxion let it go and instead asked for directions to Ember Falls.

‎According to his mother, Ella, the wife of King Henry, Ember Falls had the most breathtaking scenery in the land.

‎Sol gave him clear directions and thanked Leoruxion for helping him fend off the minions. With that, the two parted ways, and Leoruxion set off, following the path Sol had described.

‎Leoruxion finally arrived at Ember Falls at night, and the beauty of the place took his breath away. It was the most magnificent sight he had ever seen. The water glowed a brilliant azure blue, the grass shimmered with rich green hues, and vibrant flowers bloomed everywhere. Colorful fish swam gracefully in the streams, the moonlight reflected perfectly on the water, and enchanting creatures roamed the area. On top of a majestic tree, a magical girl was sleeping peacefully.

‎When she noticed him, she assumed he was spying on her and launched a firecracker in his direction. Leoruxion dodged it just in time, surprised not only at her agility but also at the dazzling display of her powers.

‎Leoruxion asked the girl why she was here. She replied that she just wanted to relax after practicing her magic. Curious, he asked if she was from Lucindor City. She nodded and explained that she often ventured outside the city almost every day to train.

‎Her name was Rein Seraphim, the granddaughter of the Great Wizard of Lucindor City. She introduced herself formally, and Leoruxion did the same. Rein, slightly annoyed by the length of his name, decided to call him Leo. He liked it immediately—it felt simpler, more natural, and somehow fitting.

‎hey sat together on top of the tree, talking and relaxing, soaking in the peaceful vibes of the night. Suddenly, the bushes below began to shake. Leo noticed immediately and urged Rein to follow him, sensing that something was lurking nearby.

‎Rein acted quickly, showcasing her magic. With a wave of her staff, she made them vanish from the sight of the unseen lurkers, keeping them safe from whatever threat was approaching.
