After the examiner said that name, a blond, skinny, young man with blue eyes stood up from the chair he was sitting in and walked toward the man
Rogers, said the examiner, while looking at the medical results of the young man, he then looked at the young man and raised his eyebrow as if amused and baffled by the way too skinny young man in front of him
What did your father die of? The examiner asked
Mustard gas. The young man called Steven Rogers Said, He was in the 107th Infantry. I was hoping I could be assign-
Your mother?, the examiner interrupted Steven from finishing his sentence
She was a nurse in a TB Ward. Got hit, couldn't shake it. Steven said
After that, the examiner looked at the medical results

I'm doing it, I'm saving your life said the examiner while pressing the stamp against the paper

Narrator: On a rooftop facing that very building, a man was there watching that whole interaction, and that man was none other than Eldrin
Eldrin POV: That poor guy has it rough. He tried to enrol 5 times and possibly more throughout the years; unfortunately, he has failed yet again, but not for long i thought.
Narrator: Suddenly, the man's humanoid and solid body became a formless mist made of pure darkness. It then sank into the ground and disappeared from the face of the earth
Eldrin POV: I can't get over how convenient this 2nd form of mine is. In this form, I am capable of phasing through solid objects, including the ground. Naturally, it works better at night because of the lack of light, though less efficient and more limiting, it can work during the day too, and perhaps, I also may be impervious to physical attacks in this form, i though happily, while rapidly moving through the ground.
Narrator: Two days ago, there was a man in the abandoned warehouse, seemingly trying to sink into the ground by jumping up and down like a toddler having a tantrum
Eldrin: I have been jumping UP and DOWN like a fool for 15 MINUTES, TRYING TO SINK INTO THE DAMNED GROUND. Am I crazy? What made me think that I would actually sink into the ground by jumping, I thought incredulously at my stupid actions,
Narrator: From the rusty ceiling of the warehouse, an egg fell from its nest, falling directly towards Eldrin's head, and the man coincidentally noticed
Eldrin: An Egg??? I thought confused, Wait, it's falling directly at me!! I thought while trying to move away, but it was sadly too late
Plack!
Narrator: But instead of the egg falling on top of the man, it passed right through him as if the egg did not hit a solid living being but an Element with a humanoid form
Eldrin POV: Hmm i muttered while looking down at the cracked egg. Normally, I would have thought I was hallucinating, but the current me simply can't, I thought while looking at my shoulder to confirm it wasn't stained. It actually passed right through me; it should have landed on my shoulder, but it didn't. I thought, perplexed, not only that, but the exact place that the egg phased through, emitted a dark mist for half a second, and then disappeared. Elemental intangibility I muttered while willing myself to become intangible, and intangible I became
Narrator: The previously humanoid man has now become a formless dark mist, now able to finally sink through the ground and phase through objects. He has now taken another step forward in becoming DARKNESS itself.

Stark Expo a technological exposition where scientists showcase their newfound innovations and advancements in technology. The event is held every few years to showcase the possible future of science.

As the dazzling fireworks illuminated the sky, two young men were seemingly having a conversation
I don't see what the problem is. You're about to be the last eligible man in New York, you know theres three and a half million women here? asked Bucky
Well, I'd settle for just one, said Steven
Bucky smiled at that and said, Good thing I took care of that.
Hey Bucky!!, The voice of a young woman was heard in the distance
What did you tell her about me? said Steven, worry evident in his voice
Only the good stuff, said Bucky while smirking.
Inside the Stark Expo was a world of science, where crowds of people gathered to see the marvels of science and technology. One crowd was observing a dummy wearing a red spandex superhero suit inside a chamber, possibly a hint at the future super soldier, and another, smaller crowd was observing a red car. yes just a red car, definitely not a flying red car COUGH COUGH!!.
Then a booming voice suddenly spoke
WELCOME TO THE MODERN MARVELS PAVILION AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW, A GREATER WORLD, A BETTER WORLD
clap!! clap!! clap!! clap!! clap!!
Oh my God!!, It's starting!! said a young woman while dragging a man, and that man was none other than Bucky
Ladies and Gentlemen MR. Howard Stark said a young woman on the microphone
, music started to play, and the man himself came to the stage. After taking the microphone, he said
Ladies and gentlemen, what if I told you that in just a few short years, your automobile won't even have to touch the ground at all?
As he said that, four young women started to take the red car's wheels off until there were only strange futuristic devices left
With Stark Gravity Reversion technology, you'll be able to do just that, he announced while slowly turning on a switch beside him.
And to the crowd's surprise, something unthinkable happened, the car started levitating
Holy cow, said Bucky in awe
however after a couple of seconds
zzzzzz bang!!
The car malfunctioned
I did say a few years, didn't I? said Howard Stark Awkwardly

and the crowd started to clap
Steve Rogers POV: As Howard Stark stopped speaking, I looked into a recruitment post

As Steven was lost in his own thoughts, he froze, squinting his eyes as if noticing something or someone in the distance
Narrator: In a Dark corner, there was a strange man dressed in a black suit with a black tie and black shoes; his hair was ink-black, his eyes as black as the void, with a sharp jawline and a short beard, he was currently drinking a glass of red wine while watching the stage, and that strange man was none other than Eldrin
Steve Rogers POV: As I was thinking of trying my luck in enlisting again after this event i noticed a strange figure in the distance. He was sitting in a dark corner alone. He was sipping red wine while looking at the stage, and as if he noticed my gaze, he turned towards me and smiled, raising his glass of wine as if to greet me. After that, he withdrew his gaze and continued watching the stage
