Arc 2 chapter 28
The final battle against Anos finally begins. Alex took the lead and went in with a [fire punch LV5] and Anos responded with a [light punch LV5] and they both clashed creating a Shockwave and Sion appeared from behind and kicked Anos with a [lightning kick LV5] from behind and Anos blocked it with an aura shield but Rachel broke the shield with a [light spear LV6] and the moment his defense was gone, Kali shot multiple [water bullets LV4] at Anos, but he only took small damage and then he unleashed a mana wave to repel Alex's party some few distance and then he activated [steel body] and charged at Alex and Alex responded with [fire punch LV5].
Anos: (fool! Steel body was made to specifically to counter fire!) (Anos took the fire punch head on at the chest and only to regret it) gh! Ghaaaa! How was that possible! My chest hurts like hell!
Alex: my fire can even burn things that were not meant to be burned by fire.
Anos: how does that work?!
Alex: I don't know either.
Rachel: don't forget about me! [light spear LV6].
Anos: (dodges the spear but only to be met by Kali's [super kick LV4] and got his back in a bad state) ghaaaaaaa! Shit! I can't loose like this! Though I'm in aura burst my mana is moving WAY TOO FAST!!!
Sion: that's because even though Zumo is completely gone now, the blumond can still take Zumo's mana that's left inside you and counting the time you spend fighting Albert... Your real mana is completely empty and the one you're left with is Zumo's mana isn't it?
Anos:.....
Sion: then I believe this is Checkmate!
Anos: (charges at Sion) then I just have to destroy that fucking stone! [light punch LV10]
Sion: you should pay more attention to your surroundings.
When Anos charged straight at Sion with a light punch... Alex was above Anos mid air with flames dancing on hand and then he unleashed his final attack.
Alex: it's over! [Phoenix dance fire punch LV2] TAKE THIS!!!
Anos: (connects straight at the back where he was kicked by Kali) ghaaaaaaaaaa!!!
After the attack, Anos's eyes rolled into the back of his head... Anos was finally defeated and down for the count. Alex felt dizzy and almost fell to the ground but was quickly caught by Albert.
Albert: I guess using Phoenix dance still takes a lot out of you huh?
Alex: yeah...
Sion: it's... Finally over!
Rachel: I can't believe it... We actually did it!
Alex: man I thought this was never going to end! But... Zumo did not live though.
Sion:... I hope he rests well.
Alex: yeah... Me too.
Kali: (tears starts pouring down) it's over... It's finally over... I avenged my people and still got to leave... (starts crying)
Rachel: hey hey it's okay, it's okay (hugs her) it's over now... It's all over...
Kali: thanking you Rachel... And especially you Alex... If it weren't for you I wouldn't be alive today so thank you so much! (big smile)
Alex: yeah I did what I thought was right And I just despise sacrifice without choice, so you can finally live for your people and have the life that you want! Isn't that awesome?!
Kali: yeah that will be awesome... (looks at Rachel)
Rachel: (nods)
Kali: I will honor my people by living my life to the fullest and get what I want! (walks up to Alex)
Alex: that's really admi—
Alex was completely surprised when Kali suddenly kissed him on the cheek and she ran to Rachel a little bit excited while shaking her bunny tail.
Rachel: you finally did it huh?
Kali: it was embarrassing but I did it.
Alex: wait Rach you knew about this?
Rachel: yeah... After she find out that she had feelings for you according to Six's ability she got eaten up by guilt to the point where she told me when we were outside the storm.
Kali: and she told me that she had no problem with it since one of your goals is to have a harem.
Alex: huh?
Rachel: you're confused huh? I would be too, but I'm the type not to complicate things and I pretty much singed up got this...
Sion: and with that personality of yours, you're bound to pull a lot of girls along the way.
Rachel: yeah that's what I mean and not to mention... Kali's really really cute and cuddly! (while rubbing Kali with her cheek)
Sion: yeah Kali was bound to get Crimsoned.
Albert: at this rate I think we're all Crimsoned.
Alex: huh? What's that?
Rachel: that's a secret!
Kali: yeah!
Alex: what?! Even Kali knows? Come on guys.
Everyone: we're not telling!
Alex: ugh! This is so uncool!
While the party was having a moment, a gate appeared in front of the knocked out Anos and before the others could react, Power 6 appeared and took Anos and retreated to the gate before they reached her.
Alex: shit she got away with Anos!
Albert: don't worry about it... He's not gonna last long anyways.
Alex: how?
Albert: I poisoned him before hand and I think he has about 5 or 4 minutes left.
Alex:... I see... I guess you saw that coming?
Albert: yeah, after Drogo rescued Rox before I could finish him off back at Markini.
Alex: I see...
After Six rescued Anos, she brought him to the woods to try and tend to his wounds but nothing worked until she tried to use a high potion but Anos stopped her in her tracks.
Ssp6: what are you doing? Do you wanna die?!
Anos: just... Stop... It's over for me.
Ssp6: no it's not over yet! You still have things to do you hear me?! We need you! I need you!
Anos: and I'm saying that I don't wanna be needed... I'm done... I'm done with all of it.
Ssp6: you don't mean that! Tell me you don't!
Anos: I'm sorry... Six... But I can't keep my promises.
Ssp6: but...
Anos: when I was fighting Albert and those kids... I realized something... Their eyes were filled with determination and strong will... Even when I took over the storm... They... Did not give up! Can you believe it? They should've despaired but they did not... They fucking jumped straight into action again and within that moment I knew... I was trying to take their fate from them and they were fighting to keep it. In the end Zumo was not the curse... I was...the curse.
Ssp6:...
Anos: I only wanted to be happy with Lira and when that got taken from me... I wanted to take it from others and I enjoyed it (scoffs) I guess all along I was evil...
Ssp6: is this it? You too as well is gonna leave me all alone? By myself?
Anos: I'm sorry... Six, but I just can't no more...
Ssp6: you jerk! (crying)
Anos: please when I die... I leave everything to you...and at the mansion I used to live at Edge Stone... There's an underground room if you destroy the floors... There's a book there for you... Take it, it will tell you everything.
Ssp6: everything about what?
Anos: you will see... And about you bieng alone, you're not alone that rabbit girl still wants to be your friend... And I believe she can change your fate...
Ssp6: Anos Valera by the way of the Red Hand I hearby sentence you to death for cutting your string off the hand!
Anos was in a beautiful field of flowers and the sun was shining bright and Lira was playing on the fields with their two children, a boy and a girl. Anos was just sitting there appreciating the scene and laughing with them as they enjoy a good family time..... In reality Anos was laying down on the ground with Six's blade on his heart and Six pulled out the blade and bowed to his corpse as she left. Anos Valera member of the Red Hand, Dead at the age of 39.
