Arc 3 chapter 34
It was 5AM in the morning, Martha and Sion were still asleep after an amazing night they had.
Martha: (yawn) ... I feel really relaxed for the first time in a long time.
Sion: (yawn) hey, Martha you're up early?
Martha: huh?... No wait! Look at the time! I'm late!
Sion: late? It's 5AM though?
Martha: I must work at 5:30.
Sion: what?! That's no time to start work.
Martha: that's the time the owner allocated for me (running to the bathroom)
Sion: wait! (follows behind her)
When Martha got to the bathroom she prepared her little tub for a single person while brushing her teeth in a hurry and poured cold water on the tub and took off her clothes in a flash and went to wash her self up after brushing her teeth, but Sion stopped her before she got in and used [heatwave] to warm up the water for her.
Martha: oh?! Thanks for that, this would be my first time bathing in hot water.
Sion: wait you don't bath on hot water?
Martha: nope, I can't afford heating artifacts with my salary.
Sion: what's your monthly salary?
Martha: (while washing in a hurry) it's about 700 bronze or 500.
Sion: what! That's way too low!
Martha: it's enough for me to live by atleast.
Sion: it sounds like you're just a slave at this point! You must quit that stupid job and come with us I like I proposed last night.
Martha: that's a really big decision, by the way us?
Sion: I'm in a party and we'll be around the city but not for long.
Martha: I heard of a couple of C ranks showing up in the city and yesterday you told me you were C rank, I guess you're one of them right?
Sion: yeah... (it's all because Alex decided to course a scene)
Martha: (she leaves the rub after bathing and does everything else quick then prepares to leave) well gotta go (gives him a short kiss) see ya!
Sion: ok and if you wanna see me this afternoon I'll be at the adventurer's guild!
Martha: but I work till night.
Sion: I know what I'm saying.
Martha:... Sure whatever (runs off)
Sion: ( for now I'll have to investigate her aura later and when I released her mana vessels yesterday, she had an incredible amount of aura for someone who just started... I found a very interesting one)
Sion soon later washed himself up, got dressed and left the tree house, then locked in on Alex's aura and went after him. Sion made it to the inn which Alex and the girls were staying and they came across each other at the entrance. The girls were glowing and giving off relaxing aura while Alex was blushing and looking down, Sion could instantly guess what happened.
Sion: (looking at Alex) how many rounds?
Alex: I lost count.
Sion: you good though?
Alex: I will recover.
Sion: poor you.
Alex: next time give me the juice.
Sion: yeah you kinda need it.
Alex: never thought I would need it.
Rachel: what's the juice?
Sion: that's a secret between us.
Kali: not fair!
Rachel: anyways what's the plan today?
Alex: we need to become an official party. We are on standby at the guild.
Rachel: that sounds good then let's hurry up!
Alex: sure let's go crew!
The party went to the adventurer's guild to officially become the Crimson Fate, so that they can finally do group missions and since Albert is a secret member, he won't join in. They finally made it to the adventurer's guild and when they got inside, they had eyes all over them.
Adventurer 1: check it out it's Alex and Sion the C ranks!
Adventurer 2: and look it's also those beautiful ladies from before, and isn't the one with the spear a C rank too?
Adventurer 3: wait for real?! And they're associated with Alex and Sion?! That's crazy!
Adventurer 4: if that's so then that's a power party right there!
Adventurer 5: then we're witnessing the birth of a new super power here in Lotus city baby! Who knows they might rise up to the same level as the Great Blades!
Adventurer 1: bro chill, these guys are C rank and those are A rank.
Adventurer 5: but still, it could happen.
Sion:.... Would you look at that? We're famous.
Alex: are C ranks that rare around here?
Rachel: looks like it.
Kali: I do not like the attention they're giving me...
Rachel: that's the price of bieng cute and strong.
Sion: you'll have to get used to it (approaches the reception) we're here to make a party, yesterday you told us to come back with the rest of us.
Receptionist: oh you're the people from yesterday, Alex and Sion, and Rachel and Kali? You knew each other all along? I guess that makes sense, since you were C rank as well.
Rachel: yeah the four of us just came to the city.
Receptionist: well it looks like you want to make a party of 4 right? Three C ranks and one D rank. Is that right?
Rachel: yes please.
Receptionist: then give me a moment (takes out a document and then writes some details) name of the party?
Alex: Crimson Fate.
Receptionist: (writes down) ok can I see your adventurer's cards and battle cards?
Alex: sure (they handed over their cards)
Receptionist: ok give me a moment (she wrote down on the document and then stamped it and then all the cards including the battle cards turned translucent in colour) do you have a symbol or logo for the party?
Alex: can I make up one right here?
Receptionist: sure just draw it on the paper right here.
Alex: sure( took the pen and drew a face of a red dragon and some details to make it look like a proper logo) ok will this do?
Receptionist: yes it will... A red dragon huh? That's unique. Well wait a moment (she took the drawing and stamped it, after that, the cards all turned red and a dragon symbol appeared at the back of the cards, then she handed the cards over) you're now officially members of the Crimson Fate party a C rank party. Congratulations!
Adventurer 1: did she just say the Crimson Fate?
Adventurer 2: that's the name of their party?
Adventurer 3: the Crimson Fate huh? I can't wait to see what these guys can do.
Garland: what's this commotion about in here?
Selena: probably someone ranked up I guess? They always cause a commotion about that.
Zeno: I heard a couple of C ranks popped up in town.
Lizy: oh really! I would like to see them!
Owen: if they got some spirit in them then I would like to meet them.
The whole guild went quiet when these five individuals showed up at the door and each of them was covered in powerful and well balanced aura that even Alex and his group couldn't miss them. Garland Vall(human) a young man with a burning passion in his eyes and a striker unit, Selena Eno(elf) a scary but beautiful woman and a master of dark magic and curses and a Mage unit, Zeno Imaki(human) a young and quiet boy who doesn't stand out much but can move really fast and can blend in anywhere and a scout unit, Lizy Stanford(human/dragon) a young energetic little girl and yes she's a little girl about 11 or 12 years old and is a talented magic user at a young age who is above B rank and is a mage unit, finally Owen Saan(oni) the muscles of the group and an excellent axe handler and a tank unit. These five were the Great Blades party which is currently at A rank and is expected to reach S rank and become the 12th S rank party of this generation.
Garland: (looking at Alex's party) so you're the C ranks? Wow that's awesome! I'm Garland Vall, nice to meet you.
Alex: hi Alex Ember nice to... Wait did you say Vall? Are you and Rachel related?
Rachel: yes he's my twin brother.
Adventurers: huh?!
Garland: huh? Rachel! I didn't see you there!
Rachel: I saw you...
Garland: how have you been sis...
Rachel:... Good.
Garland: uhh why are you being so cold right now?
Rachel: gee I wonder why?
Garland: look I'm sorry about what I said and did when I left home... I really am and since we met again I was hoping if I could make things right.
Rachel: there's nothing you can do to make things right... Star boy. (pushed Garland to the side and left the guild)
Garland: I know and I'm sorry... I hope you can forgive me.
Rachel: I have forgiven you, for a long time now, but I'll never forget.
Garland:... I'll be sure to make it up to you.
Sion:...so uh you had a twin brother? Alex did you know?
Alex: nope I just found out today.
Garland: yeah let me introduce my self again. I'm Garland Vall, Rachel's twin little brother and this is my party the Great Blades.
Sion: sounds like a cheap copy of the Great Storm party.
Alex: Sion!
Garland: yeah actually we were inspired by them.
Alex: oh really?
Garland: yeah and I heard your name was Alex Ember right? Are you related to the Flaming Punch Lynn Ember?
Adventurers: what?! Lynn Ember! From the legendary Great Storm!
Sion: Alex I think you should refrain from revealing anymore.
Rachel: yeah I agree with Sion.
Alex:....sure.
Garland: anyways, Rachel I thought you didn't like adventurers, why are you one now?
Rachel: I just thought it's better to spread justice as a traveler, that's all.
Garland: I see you're still on that justice stuff. Well I just heard there were new promising adventurers in town and I thought I gotta meet them and boy I didn't expect to see you. See I told you that you had talent for adventurering and that enforcer thing was a waste of your abilities.
Rachel: I guess you were right about that...
Garland: well that's all. Me and my party will be leaving now... See ya soon big sis! (leaving the guild with his party)
Rachel:... I definitely don't want to see you again.
Alex: so that's your twin little brother? He looks like a nice guy.
Sion: yeah he looks like the Alex type.
Kali: (scoffs) Alex type funny.
Alex:... I heard you talk about something like forgiveness and stuff.
Rachel: I don't wanna talk about it... At least not now, but I'll tell you.
Alex: sure, you don't have to tell me when you don't feel like it.
Rachel: thanks, anyways let's get out of here and go to a restaurant or something.
Kali: yeah I was getting hungry!
Alex: sure I could grab a bite.
Sion: thanks but I'll stay behind.
Alex: what? Why?
Sion: I'm waiting for someone.
Rachel: really who?
Sion: it's a surprise.
Alex: ok we'll see you later then.
Sion: sure later.
Alex and the girls left Sion at the guild headed for the restaurant but they came across Albert who looked like he was waiting for them and he approached them with a grin in his face.
Kali: geez where were you all this time?!
Albert: I just visited an old friend of mine.
Rachel: who is this friend, a hooker?
Albert: geez girls what do you take me for?
Alex: pleasure man?
Rachel: womanizer?
Kali: pervert?
Albert: yeah.... I get what you mean, but you guys got to have fun and let off some steam while I was away right?
Alex: (blushes) uhh yeah some fun... (scratching his chicks)
Rachel: (holds her head in her hands) ahh yeah... Fun.
Kali: (scratches her hand while blushing)
Albert: damn I missed a lot did I? Well whatever I got good news! Uhh where's Sion?
Kali: apparently waiting for someone.
Albert: huh? It's not anybody who can attract Sion's attention.
Alex: yeah that left me wandering that who's this person?
Albert: well who ever it is, they must be important, I guess Sion will have to wait but anyways I found us a place to crash.
Rachel: did you buy another mansion?
Albert: what? No but it is a mansion. A very traditional elven mansion.
Kali: sounds like a really big tree to me.
Albert: that's because basically it is.
Alex: I always wanted to be in one of those.
Albert: well it's your luck cuz a friend of mine owns that kind of place and is letting us stay there for 2 weeks.
Rachel: wait we're gonna be here for two weeks?!
Albert: yeah?
Rachel: grrr!!!
Albert: what's wrong with her?
Alex: apparently her twin brother is currently staying in the city and she got some beef with him.
Albert: oh Garland is in town?
Alex: you know about him?
Albert: yeah and I also know that he was quite the energetic kid who got along with Lucia when they were kids, but he had a dream of being an adventurer while Rachel wanted to be an enforcer and Lucia... Well she just wanted to have fun and make a lot of friends.
Alex: that definitely sounds like your daughter.
Albert: what can I say? Lucia took off a lot of me even though we're not father and daughter by blood. Anyways we are gonna be here for two weeks and during that time, we'll be training! More like you'll be training!
Kali: training?
Albert: yes! And you'll be trained by a master of mana control and magic.
Rachel: who?
Albert: his name is Alga!
Kali: wait Alga?! As in Wind Rider Alga!?
Albert: yes!
Kali: awesome!
Alex: do you know this guy Kali?
Rachel: who doesn't know the Wind Rider? He's one of the best elven mages to ever exist. The fact that even Kali a mountain village girl knows about him just proves how famous he is.
Alex: I must learn more about the northern history and trends, anyways we'll be staying at this guy's place?
Albert: yep!
Kali: ohhh I can't wait!
Alex: even Kali has brighten up huh?
Albert: Aha now let's go.
Kali: how about Sion?
Albert: he'll track our mana let's go and hold on.
Rachel: ugh brace yourselves!
Alex and Kali:....?!!!
The moment they were close enough to Albert they instantly dissappeared from the spot and went to another location. Meanwhile at the poor sides of Lotus city were where criminals and low lifes crawled, an old man was passing through the cold and heartless scenes in front of him as some people were bieng chocked to death, some bieng crippled for not paying debts, some dosing of drugs and some poor woman bieng ganged raped, but the old man ignored all of those and passed through while using his sword as a walking stick and kept his distance from everything around him, but the old man was approached by a gang who were holding knives and short swords.
Thief 1: hey old man, that coat you're wearing it looks nice.
Thief 2: matter of fact everything you have on you looks nice, are you a noble?
Old man: I don't know... But you folks should get out my way.
Thief 3: oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it?
Old man: let's see... Maybe cut the top of your heads off?
Thief 4: I wanna see you do that old bones. (laughs)
Old man: is that a dare?
Thief leader: yes it is—
Before the man could finish his sentence all the heads of his members dropped down to the floor with no clue on what sliced them off and he just stood there pissing and shiting his pants as death approaches him.
Thief leader: p...p...p...please.... Spare me.
Old man: poor thing... You're already living a miserable life, so what's the point? (sliced him in half and blood sprayed out and his organs splattered out in the ground and everyone nearby innocent or young were instantly killed in a flash to leave no witnesses)... I'm getting worse... I must hurry up and find Drogo before evil completely consumes me whole.
