TIER 3: OBISAD
"I was originally a Sard. Especially one of the first. Also was an important figure for blacksmithing. I was once one of Zars' friends. I was declared a traitor for defending him when he went out of control. I was sent to Evoren, Earth, as an exile. My will and grudge were reduced to the minimum, and I was left to languish there until I died. You were the last person I saw, my Lord... But instead of saving us, you killed Zars... Anyway, it was because he was weak. The strong conquer the weak, right? My respect for you is boundless, my Lord... Ah, of course! You'll ask how I got here... This is a ritual. Most likely, I got here the same way you did. The way of those dirty rituals..." Jamz sits and listens, not even opening his mouth until the end. "So what do you want from me, old man?" he asks. "Derihio. That's my name. And what I want from you is... Save us from this hell, my Lord." says Derihio. "Elaborate." replies Jamz. "I want you to find Monfel, the holder of the Tes of Will. He knows every single detail." Derihio says. Jamz gets up and asks, "Do you have a cleaver?" Derihio replies, "There should be something like that in the basement." and goes down to the basement. After searching for a while, he shouts, "My Lord, come here please! I can't carry this monster myself!" Jamz, walking deeper to the basement, sees a giant, black cleaver with five jewels lined up on it's lower blade. "Perfection. You are still a blacksmith i see." he says. Derihio replies, "Right on point! This is a cleaver made of ebisadon. Is a stone-like jewel that creates itself when an Ancient dies. The cleaver's name is Obisad. I've traveled almost all over this land, and this is the most durable material I've found. The five jewels on it are empty attribute capsules. So you can absorb the ebisadon of anyone you defeat with it up to five times... Crazy, huh? I really struggled to make this. I was about to lose my sense of time, and then I realized it was finished. Unfortunately, I have neither the soul to withstand this power nor the physical strength to lift this giant thing... What do you say, my Lord? Would you like to try?" (...)
TIER 4: TEMPLE
Jamz lunges and grabs Obisad. "Not so bad." he says. They go upstairs, and Jamz exits through the door. "This is probably the last time we are going to see each other. So, thanks very much for your efforts, Mr. Derihio." Jamz says. "If you ever think about coming here, I'll be here, ready for your commands, my Lord..." Derihio says before closing the door. Dark creatures sees Jamz and attacks him. He says, "Let's test this thing..." and destroys each one with a single swing. He thinks to himself, "Perfection." and heads towards the temple he saw earlier. The temple is full of dark creatures. Jamz destroys each one and continues on. As he goes deeper to the lower levels of the temple, he sees bigger beings and cuts each one down with a slight difficulty. Eventually, he reaches the lowest level and finds himself in an empty hall. He walks confidently, not in a hurry, but from the ground, a giant, black hand emerges, eyes gush from all its fingers, and various insects surround it. Its eyes begin to bleed, and eventually it turns to stone, transforming into a black shell. The shell cracks, bursts, and from within emerges a giant, cosmic-looking paladin. The paladin thrusts its arm into its chest, pulling out a galaxy, crafting a gleaming sword and hilt from the stars, and then a hilt from the galaxy itself. Jamz takes his stance and waits for the creature to attack. The creature attacks, but Jamz dodges. It repeats this several times, but eventually hits Jamz. Although Jamz blocks it with Obisad at the last moment, he cannot avoid the damage and is repelled. He gets up and takes his stance again, thinking, "This one is definitely different from the other weaklings." to himself. The creature's sword glows red, cuts itself, and disappears. Jamz looks around confused and sees the creature behind him, but this time its sword glows blue. The creature's sword turns yellow and strikes Jamz swiftly. Even if Jamz blocks the attack, the temple blows up, Jamz flies far away. The creature stands in front of Jamz, but before it even has time to think, it is torn into a million pieces by Obisad. Even Jamz cannot process it. "What even happened? Does Obisad have its own will because it is made of corpses?" he thinks to himself. Each piece of the creature's corpse transforms into ebisadon. Jamz walks towards its corpse, absorbs it all with a swing, and one of the five jewels takes on the creature's cosmic color. "I can get used to it..." he thinks before spotting the Sacred Sapling in the city. "Temserals... I can get information from there." he says and starts walking towards the city. (...)
