TIER 15: REUNION
The moment they step outside, Edy bursts into tears, both crying and laughing. "Hahah! Ask me whatever you want, Jamz!" he says. Jamz, without a second thought, replies, "I want to bring back a dead person and a god. And also find out someone's location, which is my main quest here. You can do it, right?" Edy nods in astonishment. "The Temseral of Blood Furoy—no, no, Grotell. I'll ask you to bring him back." Edy pauses, closes her eyes, and tries to locate Furoy, but is horrified. "Unfortunately, the person you're talking about... is somewhere I can't bring back... I guess... in Hell?" Jamz is surprised. "Wait a minute, Hell is really real? Then why can't you bring him back?" Edy opens his eyes and gasps, "It is protected by something that surpasses my power—no, most likely something that surpasses the power of every being and non-being in the universe and beyond. Please wish for something else, I don't feel well..." Jamz continues without pushing further. "Okay then... I'm looking for someone named Monfel. I want you to find him and bring me to him." Edy closes his eyes and begins searching for Monfel. "I think I've found him... He's wearing blue and red armor and has a blue and red spear-" he can't finish, but Edy freezes. "Well, are you going to continue?" Jamz asks impatiently. "He's looking. He's looking into my soul..." Jamz is stunned by Edy's explanation. "When did he notice?! Or rather, how?!" he asks. "I don't know, but I know he's definitely the man we're looking for..." Edy says, opening his eyes. "Go ahead and wish." Jamz, after being certain, says, "I want you to resurrect, an old enemy of mine, the owner of the Tes of Shape, Vahura." Edy closes his eyes and begins to form a figure. Vahura's body is standing in front of Jamz. Vahura wakes up and says, "What's going on here... Oh, right, I was fighting the Lord of Blood, I was badly defeated, but I'm not dead after all..." "You're dead, Vahura," says Jamz. "The Lord of Blood? Is that you? What's going on here!" Vahura exclaims. Jamz explains in detail. Vahura says, "So that's it, huh? You are everyone's hero, then. But why did you bring me back? I mean, I'm a Kort after all. What you're doing makes no sense." "Because you're the onl loveable Kort, Vahura. You are respectful to your enemy. Whether you're a Kort or not doesn't matter to me. Because you are a good person. Besides, we were all Evors, weren't we?" he says. Vahura nods understandingly. "Now that Zars is dead, we're friends then, huh? Let's fight back to back, Vahura." Jamz extends his hand. Vahura responds with a more informal handshake instead of a formal one. "Forget the formality, Jamz! We're friends!" she says. Jamz withdraws his hand and laughs, "We are, aren't we? Come on then, Edy, I'll make my last wish!" Edy prepares herself and shakes her head. "I've changed my mind." Jamz says. "I prefer to save it for later." Vahura interjects, "What wish? Can I wish too?" "Everyone has one. Wish whatever you want." Edy says. "I want my Tes back, and I want to be mastered my Tes again. Without my Tes, I can't sense you or anything. I can only hear. That's all. And I'll also save my last wish." Edy grants Vahura's wishes and says, "Okay. How do you feel, better?" Vahura tests his powers by forming shapes one by one through the hole on his stomach. "I'm grateful!" he says. Jamz says, "I'm going somewhere and I'll be right back, wait for me." and teleports away, leaving the others bewildered. (...)
TIER 16: RETURN
Jamz returns to the Orgukk base and begins searching for the members. "Hey, come and fight me! I'll be waiting here!" he shouts. Jorr, or rather Forus, breaks the sound barrier and emerges, initiating the conflict. Now less naive and aware of his powers, Jamz constantly dodges attacks using teleportation and inflicts large wounds with gravitational strikes. With each blow, Obisad pulls the target towards itself. Jamz plunges Obisad into Forus's chest and watches Forus's cries for help as he slowly disappears, being pulled into Obisad. "Guess I'm not so bad after all..." he mutters to himself. As the other members approach one by one hoping to rescue Forus, Jamz quickly appears in front of Wetrus, one of the members. Before Wetrus can react, Jamz pulls him into Obisad. "The walking dead is defeated." Jamz says before a pentagon appears on the ground. Avrutus appears from the sky. Before Jamz can understand what's happening, he's completely paralyzed. "Finish the job, Suaw." Avrutus says calmly to Suaw. Suaw appears from behind Jamz but sees that Obisad has turned a yellowish color, as before. "RUN, AVRUTUS!" he shouts. As Suaw quickly moves away, Avrutus liquefies and falls to the ground. Obisad creates another explosion, forming an even larger crater. "How did I suddenly become so powerful?" he thinks, then falls unconsciously to the ground. Avrutus leaps from the ground, and Suaw leaps from the sky, striking Jamz from both sides and shattering his armor. After a few blows, Jamz unconsciously grabs Obisad and splits it in two. Swinging both his swords, he breaks Suaw's mask and Avrutus's crown. As they fall to the ground, Jamz awakens with his senses fully alert. His pupils reappear, his face calmer. He looks at Suaw and sees a gigantic pupil where Suaw's mask should have been. "So it was just a giant eye, not a body..." Jamz thinks to himself. Suaw's crippled, small body disintegrates, and behind Suaw's eye, six sharp, bloody spears begin to spin like rudders. "Was that mask his Eqia? Then Avrutus's..." Jamz turns around to find Avrutus, but finds nothing. As he looks around, Suaw begins to speak, "That damned man... his Eqia is broken again... Hey you, Tes user! We have to find that man first. If we don't find him, he'll be the end of us." But Jamz doesn't listen and lunges forward. He plunges Obisad directly into Suaw's eye. But suddenly, he stops uncontrollably. "You're a fool. Listen to me..." Suaw says. Jamz slowly lowers his guard and decides to listen for once. "When Avrutus's Eqia is broken, he disappears from the eyes. His main power is to directly control the body's system. The lower the body's spiritual level, the greater his control over it. But when his Eqia is broken, this rule becomes meaningless... No matter how strong your spirit is, he will directly attack your spirit. We must find him." says Suaw. "Explain. How does this Eqia-breaking power work?" asks Jamz. Suaw confidently explains, "Eqia is a manifestation of the soul itself. When someone starts taming their soul by fighting, getting injured, winning, losing... the soul eventually splits in two and becomes Eqia. When an Eqia breaks, the soul moves to the owner. 'But why am I losing control?', you'll say. It's because of the soul's vision. You think you're taming your soul, but the Eqia thinks you're torturing it. So when you take control, it won't let you take control to get revenge. You need to awaken it so it understands you. You have to have a perfect bond like mine. My Eqia is broken, but I can move freely. Because mine is awakened." Jamz asks, "I understand. So, how did you find Avrutus before? Can you explain?" "We'll see... You have teleportation power, right? Let's go to someone I know." says Suaw. Jamz nods hesitantly, and Suaw says, "We're going to the true leader of the Orgukk organization. His name is Edy. We defeated Avrutus thanks to his power. I learned about Avrutus's power, and we defeated him with Edy's power. He's quite powerful. Let's go." Jamz questions the situation to himself for a moment before teleporting Suaw to Edy. Suaw appears in front of a massive castle. "He didn't come along?" he asks himself, then spots a familiar figure. "It's been a long time, old friend." he says. Edy emerges from inside the castle and says seriously, "Let's walk a little, shall we?" before starting to walk down the long corridors of the castle. Suaw begins to follow him. "I assume you do know why I'm here. Do you?" he asks, but Edy doesn't answer and instead says, "Do you remember the time when this kingdom was the greatest of all three? Nostalgia, right? If I had one more wish, I would wish for the ability to time travel..." but Suaw says nothing. As they walk towards the throne room, Edy sits on the throne. "You are in the presence of the King of Moroklus. What do you wish, Suaw?" he says. Suaw talks, "Avrutus has gone berserk. His Eqia is broken. Defeat him. This is my last wish, Edy." "I refuse." Edy says. "What?" Suaw replies. "Help me understand. Why would I accept? Why would I help a traitor? It isn't my problem that a traitor has gone berserk. If I accept your wish, will you move away? No. You will keep on doing filthy acts. I am a genius, and you know it well. I know what you will do when it gets serious. You can't touch me either. I know you will try torturing me because I am weak. You won't even land a single hit on me. Please try, I dare you..." Edy sits there, looking at Suaw unfazed. "How... How did he know that I am an enemy to him..." Suaw says to himself. Suaw's body tilts sideways; the spears rips off, forms a big spear and the spear stabs Suaw from one side, forming two arms. "If I land a single hit, you will accept my wish." he says. "We'll see it." Edy says. A sphere appears around Suaw and makes him freeze. A familiar voice says, "I want to play a little. Are you down?" Vahura emerges from the roof by breaking everything in front of him. As he reaches the throne room, he asks the question. "I said, 'Are you down?'. What, are you that weak? Then I'll just kill you... Kidding." the sphere disappears and Suaw appears in front of Vahura to punch him but Vahura punches Suaw's eyes instead. "Slow!" he says before forcing the battle to outside. "When did I get outside?!" Suaw asks himself. "You look astonished, Suaw. My name is Vahura, a Tes user..." Vahura says. Suaw snaps, "So that guy... Wait, no... That guy, Edy and this guy are all in the same team... I should have known it before...!" says to himself. Turns to Vahura and asks, "What do you want, Vahura? What is your role here?" Vahura answers in a confused manner, "Let me think... I know! My only role is to fight. I want to fight. Come at me, Suaw." Vahura creates two stars on his hands and dashes. As Suaw's senses came back, he regains his speed and blocks all the hits with his hands but the spinning stars still pierces through his hands. The stars suddenly disappears and Vahura leaps backward. "How does your power work, Suaw? Or more importantly... Does it work at all?" he says. Suaw stops and thinks to himself, "How... How...? How? How?! What is this guy!? How does he know everything? My powers doesn't work for some reason. But what is it, what is the reason? Is it because of his power? What is his power?! Is it... I know... It's because he is a Tes user and i am an Eqia user! So none of our abilities shouldn't work on each other! But no... He uses his powers! Think, Suaw! Escape this loop of despair! You are the leader of... Nevermind. There is no Orgukk anymore." and then turns back to Vahura. "Vahura! Do you know why you are here? Who brought you back?" he shouts. Vahura answers confidently, "Of course! I am here to help Jamz! Him and Edy brought me back." "Bingo." Suaw says yo himself before talking to Vahura again. "They will use you, Vahura. You are here because you possess the power of Tes! They will use it against others! Because Eqia users can't harm Tes users! Wake up to reality, you are being used!" he says. Vahura stops for a long moment and says, "You might be right... I might be being used. But it just means I am better than anyone else here! Do I look like a dumb dude?! Actually, I kinda do look dumb. But you can be sure that I am a genius!" "I want to test something. Stand still." Suaw takes his stance and waits for an attack. "The Seal of Shape: The Shapeless Shape of Octagon." Vahura activates his seal... The shapeless octagon lands on top of his body once again. "Move." he commands. Suaw, feeling fear for Vahura's aura, moves sideward. "Okay stop." Vahura says and deactivates his seal. "Only the physical moves work, huh? His power probably has something to do with mind..." Vahura says to himself. "Let's continue." he says and dashes again. (...)
TIER 17: WISDOM
At those exact moments, Jamz finally decides to show up on the castle. "I knew Vahura would be a tough opponent. He is a unit." he says to Edy after teleportation. "So you have arrived. He indeed is a unit. That's a beast. How did you even beat him before?" Edy asks as they watch the two fighting. Jamz smiles and answers. "He killed two of the strongest people and i lost to him once. Then he gave up. That's how he died." And Edy says, "That makes sense actually. He defeated himself." After a little silence, Edy asks, "What were you doing all this time?" Jamz replies, "Waiting for Vahura to take control. I was just a little late." then asks, "Can you explain how you planned all this? And how did you know that I would teleport him to you?" Edy replies with a knowing look on his face, "I knew you were going to Orgukk. So I calculated your power with the members. Even if they weren't same powerful I still decided to calculate. I thought you would kill both Forus and Wetrus. Then Suaw would see this and decide to use Avrutus to paralyze you. But I know you know how to use your Eqia after our encounter. I knew in some point Suaw would let you break his Eqia to gain more power but I wasn't sure about Avrutus. So I played a gamble where I wouldn't lose anything if I lose the gamble. Knowing Suaw, he would take the situation seriously and offer the last weapon he has: Me. And knowing you, you wouldn't just let him know that we are a team. So we travelled here and started waiting." Jamz, noding in acceptance says, "You knew all this, right? You had this plan only in seconds since my fight didn't last longer than a minute. What is your plan about Avrutus? Isn't he a threat?" Edy replies, "I took care of it, don't worry." Confused, Jamz asks, "What does that mean? Or how?" Edy explains, "He came to me way before Suaw. Turns out, he awakened his Eqia. He isn't an enemy." Jamz nods. At the same moment Vahura finally knocks Suaw down. "You are a great fighter, Suaw. I must say. But even after knowing what my power does, you still lost. I still respect your way of fighting. Peace." Vahura says before flying to the castle. (...)
