As they walked, Tadashi turned to Kate, his expression turning serious. "Hey, what happened at your company today? I saw on the news that a scientist helped steal the Ebo insulin."
Kate sighed, her voice heavy with the stress of the day. "Yeah... that scientist's name is Brad. He was screaming and crying, claiming he only did it because some criminals were holding his family hostage. It was a nightmare. I called the police and left as soon as I could. My shift ended just before few hours ago. Everything happened so fast. "
"Hmm," Tadashi murmured.
"Oh, here we go! This is my house, Tadashi," Kate said excitedly.
"Ah, okay," Tadashi replied.
Kate's father came to the door and welcomed him. "Hey, my son-in-law! Come in!"
"Thanks, Uncle," Tadashi said politely.
Kate's father, Mr. Lucas, announced to everyone, "Come here, guys! This is my future son-in-law; his name is Tadashi." He then turned to Tadashi. "Tadashi, do you want a drink?"
"No, thank you," Tadashi replied firmly. "I have never tried alcohol, and I never will."
Mr. Lucas laughed loudly. "Hahaha! That was a test, Tadashi, and you passed it easily!"
Inside, Tadashi thought to himself, I think Kate's family is a little crazy.
A neighbor offered Tadashi a cup of fruit juice. Just as he brought the cup to his lips, some children ran up to him.
"Uncle, stop! Please, please give us that fruit juice!" they cried. "We want to drink it! This is our favorite, please!"
Tadashi sighed softly and handed it over. "Here, take it, kids."
Mr. Lucas saw this and said, "I've made up my mind—Tadashi is my future son-in-law. He listens to everyone, regardless of whether they are big or small."
Lucas said to Kate, "Your boyfriend is so good. I've decided; Tadashi is your future husband."
Kate smiled at her dad and gave him a hug. Then, she went over to Tadashi. "I have some good news for both of us," she said.
"What is it?" asked Tadashi.
"My dad said you are to be my husband—my future husband!"
Tadashi smiled. "From boyfriend to husband? That sounds good... super good."
It was sharp at 11:00 PM. Everyone gathered around to wish Mrisha a happy birthday. After she cut the cake, Tadashi stepped forward.
"Mrisha, I have something for you," he said. "Sorry, I didn't have time to pack the gift, but you can see it now."
Mrisha gasped as she looked at it. "Huh! Thanks! Thank you so much, Tadashi! This is a brand new BOFL watch; it's far too expensive!"
"Don't thank me," Tadashi replied modestly.
"Mmm, okay," Mrisha smiled.
Later, Kate introduced her brother to Tadashi. "Hey Tadashi, this is my brother, Michal."
"Hi bro, how are you?" Tadashi asked, shaking his hand.
"Hi! I'm doing great. What about you?" Michal replied.
"Yeah, I'm good," Tadashi said.
Meanwhile, Kem arrived in downtown Limorse. He raised his hand toward a house belonging to a boy who had once bullied him. Suddenly, the house was destroyed. Consumed by rage, Kem began to destroy all the houses of the people who had bullied him or caused him pain.
He didn't stop there. Kem took the lives of the parents and the teenagers who had once humiliated him. Eventually, he arrived at his old rent house.
"I lived here for a long time, but this house is notmine. It belongs to that jerk —so vanish!" Kem screamed in anger, and with a single shout, the house crumbled into dust.
The sound of the scream and the destruction put the entire neighborhood on alert. Back at the party, Tadashi, Kate, and the rest of the guests stopped in their tracks. "What was that sound?" they asked in unison.
"Wait, let me see," Mr. Lucas said, looking toward the window.
Kem began walking toward Kate's house. Behind him, a massive cloud of dust spread, making his approach look epic—and serving as a terrifying sign of danger.
Kem began walking toward Kate's house because one boy and his parent remained on his list to be killed. That boy was Michal, Kate's brother and the son of Mr. Lucas.
Tadashi stopped Mr. Lucas as he headed for the door. "Wait, Uncle. I will go check. You stay in the house."
"Are you sure?" Lucas asked, his voice filled with concern.
"Hmm... yeah," Tadashi nodded.
Tadashi stepped outside and noticed a strange man walking toward the house through what looked like a thick fog—though Tadashi initially mistook the rising dust for mist. Kem approached him coldly.
"Step aside, please," Kem said.
"Hey buddy, I think you're a neighbor of Mr. Lucas," Tadashi said, trying to be friendly.
"I am not a neighbor," Kem replied darkly. "I came here to rip someone's soul from their body."
Tadashi stared at him in disbelief. "Are you kidding me?"
Kem ignored him and walked straight into Kate's house. "Hello, Mr. Lucas. Hello, Michal."
Michal jumped up in anger. "Why did this brat come here? Hey, jerk! Get out of my house!"
"Michal, mind your language!" Mr. Lucas barked, before turning to the intruder. "Kem, how dare you come here. Do you want to fight my son, or are you here for revenge?"
"Exactly," Kem said with a chilling calm. "I want revenge. You talk too much. Do you have a last wish? I mean, both of you—any last wishes? Tell me now, because you are both going to die."
Tadashi was stunned. "Whoa, stop! Kate, what the hell is going on?"
"I don't know, Tadashi!" Kate cried out.
"Who is this guy?"
"His name is Kem," Kate explained, her voice trembling. "He used to live 7 house next to ours."
Kem looked at Mr. Lucas and let out an evil laugh. "Lucas! First, I am going to kill your son... and then I'm coming for you. Hahahaha!"
Kem lunged forward, grabbing Michal by the neck and lifting him off the ground. Michal struggled wildly; his face turned purple, his eyes bulged, and he began to choke.
Lucas, Kate, Tadashi, and the other party guests cried out in horror. "Hey! Stop! Stop it!"
Mr. Lucas rushed toward Kem to protect his son from the monster, but Kem was too fast—he reached out and grabbed Lucas by the neck as well, holding both men in a death grip.
"Oh no... no, no, no!" Tadashi muttered, his panic rising.
"Tadashi! Please!" Kate screamed. "Someone save them! Tadashi, please save them!"
Kate tried to run toward Kem to save her brother and father, but Tadashi held up a hand, signaling for her to stay back.
In that moment, Tadashi's anger erupted like volcanic ash. Memories from eleven years ago flashed through his mind. He remembered his father's parting words: "One day, the time will come for you to use your power for the purpose of good."
With a roar of strength, Tadashi punched Kem in the head with immense force. The impact was so great that Kem was sent flying through the air, crashing right through the wall of the house. The shockwave caused the wall fans to fall and shatter into pieces. Everyone stood frozen in shock.
"Uncle Lucas, Michal—get to your rooms!" Tadashi commanded. "Kate, help them!"
"O-okay," Kate stammered, still in a state of deep shock.
"Tadashi is... a superhuman," Michal whispered, breathless.
"Yeah," Lucas gasped. "But how did Kem become so powerful? He is like a superhuman too. How is this possible?"
"I have the same question," Kate said, pulling them away. "Come on, both of you, let's get to the room."
As they reached safety, Kate, Lucas, and Michal caught a glimpse of the TV. A news report showed a picture of Kem. They heard the reporter say "this young boy accidentally took the suitcase belonging to the Bright Future Company. Inside that suitcase was an experimental insulin that grants a human immense power. If you see this boy, please dial 1778 for Police Headquarters immediately."
Kate gasped. "Oh no! I think he used the Ebo Insulin!"
Outside, Tadashi charged toward Kem, intending to end the fight. But Kem reacted quickly, raising his hand toward Tadashi and blasting him backward with a force that should have sent him crashing to the ground.
Kate quickly dialed 1778 to alert the police. She also called a worried Mr. Zeolen to inform him of the situation.
"What?!" Mr. Zeolen shouted over the phone. "My ten billion Licos... wasted! That guy is using the power I created for crimes? I made that insulin for a well-trained soldier, not a monster!"
Meanwhile, Tadashi didn't hit the ground. Instead, he began to float in mid-air. Small rocks, scraps of paper, and debris began to swirl around him, pulled in by an unimaginable aura. Everyone watched in awe. "Oh my god," someone whispered, "he is truly powerful."
Tadashi soared toward Kem and landed a devastating punch. The impact sent Kem flying high into the ferora (the upper atmosphere). Tadashi didn't let up—he pierced through the clouds, catching up to Kem to continue the assault while they both floated high above the city.
With a roar of pure anger, Tadashi struck one final, massive blow. "Haaaaaaaaah!"
Kem plummeted from the sky and slammed into the road below. The pavement shattered like a handful of nuts under the force of the impact.
"Ugh..." Kem groaned in agonizing pain."He is too powerful. I can't beat him . I have to hide, or he'll kill me". Using the last of his strength, Kem scrambled away to find a safe place to hide from Tadashi's wrath. By the time the police arrived at the destroyed road, Kem was gone. Tadashi searched the area, but when he couldn't find him, he flew back to Kate's house. The police arrived in downtown Limorse, and Kate provided them with all the information she had about Kem. Meanwhile, Tadashi descended from the sky, his feet touching the ground softly.
Kate looked at him, her expression unreadable. "Tadashi, I have something to ask you. Come to my room."
Tadashi sighed heavily. "Okay."
Once they were alone in the room, Kate turned to him. "Tadashi, why didn't you tell me that you are a superhuman?"
"Because I just wanted to be a normal human," Tadashi replied quietly.
"You lied to me... you lied to me every second, Tadashi!" Kate shouted, her eyes filling with tears. "I don't like superhumans. Get out of here! Just get the hell out!"
"I had a reason to hide this from you," Tadashi pleaded. "I didn't lie to you... please, Kate, just listen to me!"
"No!"
Tadashi let out a disappointed sigh. "So, you say you don't like superhumans? Does that mean you don't love me? If you love me, just listen to me for one minute. If you truly don't love me, then I'll get the hell out of this house right now."
Kate hesitated, then crossed her arms. "Fine. Tell me. I'm listening."
Tadashi began to tell her about the "Eleven Years Ago" flashback. When he finished, Kate did something unexpected—she laughed. "Hahaha! This is just funny! It was just a mistake made by someone who didn't know better... you ruined your last eleven years over something so stupid!"
Tadashi looked at her, deeply hurt. "You don't understand the seriousness of it. In 그 (that) situation, I felt like I was losing my mind."
Meanwhile, Jim Agard, William, and several other police officers arrived at the entrance of the neighborhood. Jim stepped out of his car and stared at the wreckage. "Holy shit! That boy destroyed so many houses." He paused, thinking. "I think he has some personal issues with these people. He's destroyed almost eleven houses."
William walked up to him. "Sir, I have more information. The boy who used the Ebo Insulin is named Kem. He attempted to kill a father and son by entering their house just a few minutes ago. Fortunately a superhuman was in the house at the time. That superhuman saved them from the monster, Kem. You're correct, sir—Kem has destroyed exactly 11 houses, and 32 people have died. We can officially conclude that he is a murderer."
"Oh yes!" William added, surprised by a new notification on his device. "I just got the address of the house where the people survived the attack from that monster."
Jim Agard nodded grimly. "I suspect I'm right. Kem has some deep personal issues with the people in this area. It's all connected somehow... To confirm this, we have to go to that house. Let's go." .
