She turned to him, "It's not about that alone, are you willing to sacrifice yourself for them? I'm a virgin too, but the issue is this. One of us would need to stay back and work it out while the other looked for them."
They stayed silent, suddenly a light bulb lit above her head. She just got an idea, "Hey Silver, let's try this. Can you reach them? I mean on phone?"
He stared at his phone and he just noticed something, he had nine text messages he didn't see earlier. He left his phone on silent. He stared at the texts. "It's them. It's all of them, they sent text messages earlier. They need help and they feel they might die."
She jumped up to get her phone, she noticed the exact same thing too. "Silver call Damon and I'll call Camilla. Okay? Now." Both of them dialed their phones, luckily enough for them, they could reach both persons mentioned.
Camilla picked up first, "Amber! Help! Please! Help! It's crazy here! I don't wanna die! Please!"
"Calm down. What's wrong? Tell me everything, right from the first minute you arrived there. I need you to breathe and calm down." She said.
"Okay, so we said the words out loud. I mean the words from the cards and after that we all woke up from the ground on this grass like area. The clouds were gloomy and all we could hear were our heartbeats. Nothing else, also the guys said they could see a tall woman but we couldn't. We only saw a tall being. Then we heard a buzzer, as we walked we saw ourselves in another town. It was empty and scattered a little. That's all. Right now, I already dropped my blood. And no I didn't do it on purpose, it dropped from my nose by itself. Same as the others. I'm the last to drop mine." Camilla narrated.
Amber tried to understand her, word for word as she spoke with premium speed. "Okay then, so now what do you need? What's happening currently?"
"Well, we are here together. Damon is talking to someone on the phone. And we all have this tags on our hands. We need you to read the instructions of the game, help us get out of here."
Amber took the paper, "Myself and Silver already did. You'll need to pass the first stage, it's called the coup. First you'll need to drop the blood at the beginning and run into the forest. At the entrance you'll see the weapons you need to survive. You have the entire day or you start dropping dead. Second, you'll need to grab the flags seen as tagged to the trees. Then proceed to the second part, the scar and the hunt stage, fourth is the blood stage again."
They all heard what she said, Silver told them the exact same thing too. "Okay, thank you. I'll call you later." She dropped the phone.
Camilla turned to them, they were all scared to death. "You all heard what she said, let's go. The sooner we start the better."
They all stared at her afraid, Olivia said, "Look behind you. Just turn around slowly and look behind you."
She turned around slowly, standing just a few paces from her was a being. She couldn't describe what it looked like or what it was but all she could say was, "What is this?!" They all ran through the back door. They fled into the forest, they saw the weapons and stopped.
Damon took the first one and carried it, it was a gun. In fact, they were all guns. They ran through the forest till they got to the middle of the forest, Damon asked, "Hey, anyone with a map."
They didn't have any, it was all about instincts now, they had at least four roads in front of them. Which would they pass through? They didn't want a terrible mistake in a game like this.
Damon turned around, he looked at Terry. "Well, merchant. You should have some suggestions right now. What road should we pass through?"
Terry looked at him like he just gave him a death sentence. Anyway, he summoned to some form of courage, he replied, "Well since we are fourteen, let's do this in a group of seven. How's that?"
Alicia said, "Dude, did you notice? We are actually seven then and we have four roads open. We don't know what we'll see when we decide to take on that road, we need to strategize properly before we even think of walking if at all. I don't want to die."
Tristan said, "Well how about this. Let's go in the group of six. Three per each road and two remain here. How's that?"
Susan asked, "Wait, are you saying? Out of fourteen, we should leave two behind and then the remaining twelve walk as three's through the four roads? That make sense but still, what?"
"Listen if we can share ourselves we'll be able to leave faster. If it's a dead road maybe two or three may suffer."
Tony got offended, "So you are saying it's better to get two or three people killed than the whole team? Isn't that the whole team then? Explain?"
He replied, "No, just this. A male with any other two genders, we'll need to blend the strong with the smart, and the both with the sensitive. Someone with sharp instincts."
Stan agreed, "Okay, then let's do it. I'll stay behind with Lily."
Susan turned to him calmly, she didn't understand why he chose the other lady over her. He snubbed her nevertheless. Lily agreed and they moved to the back. They stood there while the others sorted themselves out.
Damon said, "I want to pick or you know what? Terry you pick first."
Terry looked around and said, "I'm picking Chris, Olivia and Kayla. She seems a bit quiet." He turned to the next, "With me, I'll take Camilla and Frankie."
