Nick Daniel's kept his distance so far. While one kid rested on the door, two others charged him. Alex wasted no time summoning his gauntlets. he Rushed in, picking up one before they could activate his ability and launching him into a nearby sink.
The one behind him grabbed him by the back of the head and blasted him with sound waves almost point blank. He was completely stunned and for a moment, Alex couldn't even see straight.
"Ahhhhh!!"
Alex grabbed hold of the boys hands and crushed them. Causing the young boy to scream. He received a swift punch to the face, knocking him down.
As he was writing in pain, Ace got ready for the next duo, putting his hands up.
Nick Daniel's was clapping. "Nice job. Oh who am I kidding he can't fucking hear me, all three of you GET HIM!"
Alex Couldn't hear him at all, however when his mouth movements started getting more intense he correctly assumed they would attack soon.
two more charged and the other stayed back to wait for an opening. One could turn into a beetle and the other could spit acid.
The beetle armor had a horn for a head, as well as a defended chest, forearms and shins.
As he charged Alex, he tilted his head down.
Alex was still not at full speed after taking that sound attack. His shoulder was impailed, and he was dragged to the wall.
Alex gritted his teeth, repeatedly punching the head of the beetle armor until he stopped, only to have his right shoulder burned up by acid.
Turning to look, the acid spitter was focused, waiting for another moment to strike. Alex knees the beetle armor until he finally picked his head up. Alex dodged a swing that left a dent in the wall behind him before landing one that sent the beatle armor stumbling back.
Finally able to catch a breath Alex yells "COME ON!!" He can't exactly hear himself speak. As he charged, the acid spitter looked at him. Alex used the Beetle armor as a human shield before throwing him inside one of the stalls.
Alex was focused, but rightly now he looked scary. He was visibly shaking, yet his bloodshot eyes and his mask of calm were disturbing.
As he approached The acid spitter in a fighting stance, the boy looked around for a place to run. He went back to far, and someone pushed him forward.
As he stumbled forward, Alex uppercut's the boy, before, wrapping his hands around his throat, making it impossible for any more acid spitting. They boy starts grasping and alex's shirt, slamming his fists into his chest and face. It was futile. He passed out.
Something about that made Alex feel better. Just a little. He turned and stared at the last person sent be Nick. It was a boy he saw the same day he met Alex.
A young boy who could partially transform into a lizard. After watching Alex tear through everyone, Kayden was shocked at what he had witnessed.
"Listen man, It's nothing personal."
Alex had dealt with enough bullshit to sum up an entire day. He just wanted to end everything now and go to bed. Not listening to speeches he couldn't even hear.
Alex did a beckoning motion with his hand,
And got closer. Kayden sighed and transformed his hands and feet into lizard like versions, his eyes turning into green slits as he charged, faster than anyone before.
Even though Alex blocked, his arms had big gash marks on them. Kayden took notice of the wound on his shoulder sticking his nails into that as well.
Ace went into shock. His conversation. With David came to mind. 'If I were to fail, I wouldn't be remorseful, for a was against fate itself.'
"NO!!!"
Kayden was shocked as a fist came and knocked him over. The moment he fell down
Alex was right there too. Delivering punch after punch. Kayden was in shock that the boy could even keep going.
as Kayden was taking blows, he finally succumbed to them, losing consciousness.
Alex was now standing in front of Nick, leaning his weight onto a nearby sink.
He had tears in his eyes and could barely see. All he could do was prepare for the next attack.
His muscles were tense. In his mind and his heart, Alex was afraid. 'I don't want to die. I WONT DIE!!!
Nick was staring at him with a blank face. At first it was entertaining, then he was done with the ordeal. Now he was genuinely afraid of the consequences. "Baron, you have to help me out."
"Good job. I commend you. Nick said nervously."
Moments later, men in blacked out military gear with weapons stormed the room. The knocked out kids were dragged away.
Surprisingly, Kayden stood right up the moment guards walked in. Alex took a moment to breathe. What would have happened had he not layed down on his own accord?
The reason why nobody came to open the door sooner was because a few kids had made an escape attempt, prompting all staff to chase them down and place all kids in a certain area. The instructors who were not immediately in charge of a kid were sent to stop the escapees, meaning nobody guessed any were in the bathroom.
A few minutes of David's screaming had convinced a few staff to go and see after they had brought every kid to a secure area.
A few kids also said they were going to the nurses office obviously ended up lying.
Once everyone was out, Ace was outside of the main room, watching as Nick was being brought to a different area while his friends were brought to the nurse.
Along with Alex. Alex was the only one brought back in a stretcher and his condition was terrible.
What Ace saw was hard for him to accept.
His friend was beaten and battered, almost to the point of losing his life. It had been a while since he was this angry seeing the remnants of shed tears on Alex's face was making it difficult to act normal.
David was right next to him taking it all in.
This was his fault. He had attacked Nick and not given Anyone else close to him a safety net.
Ace turned to him and gave him a look he couldn't describe. "Whatever trick you plan to use in that tournament, Use it well."
David nodded. "Whatever it's worth…I am sorry. And you were correct in your response on that day."
Ace didn't feel remotely better. He was a grown man, so petty arguments didn't mean anything. Alex was beat up bad, so the first thing Ace was going to do was check on him early in the mourning.
Walking to his bed without saying another word, Ace just wanted the day to be over.
