Chapter 11 - Chapter 12: The Dragon Slayer Eventually Becomes the Dragon!

"Are you two looking for some help?"

The woman walked to the door just then. A faint smile played on her lips, and her alluring, phoenix-like eyes seemed as though they could peer straight into one's soul.

"Ah..." Gwen snapped out of her daze, feeling a bit embarrassed. She shook her head quickly, intending to deny it.

But the woman stepped aside, gesturing for them to enter the room to chat.

Gwen looked at Jessica sheepishly. Instinctively, the two of them walked inside. Upon entering, a delicate fragrance filled their nostrils, gradually calming their nerves.

"Please, have a seat. Don't be nervous," the woman said with a smile as she sat opposite them and poured two glasses of water.

"Thank you," Gwen said. Jessica gave a polite nod.

The woman smiled but remained silent for a moment. She subtly observed Jessica, recalling the intelligence she had gathered before coming here. On the surface, however, she maintained a warm, friendly demeanor.

"I'm the new guidance counselor. My name is Natasha."

"Looking at the two of you, you don't seem like students with psychological issues. Of course, if you ever need anything else, you're welcome to come to me anytime!"

Her words caused Gwen and Jessica to lower their guard.

"Thank you, Ms. Natasha," Gwen said again, her face slightly flushed as she admitted their true reason for coming. She spoke with a bit of bashfulness. "To be honest, we were just curious. We heard the school got a counselor who was really pretty and had a great figure, so... I wanted to see for myself."

"Hahaha!" Natasha gave a light, melodic laugh, her red lips curving upward. She nodded playfully. "Thank you for the compliment. You two are very beautiful and quite cute yourselves. May I know your names?"

"Gwen!" Gwen answered immediately. "Ms. Natasha, I'm Gwen Stacy. You're our history teacher too, right?"

"Oh? What a coincidence," Natasha said, her smile broadening. She then turned to Jessica. "And you? Beautiful girl, may I know your name?"

"I..." Jessica opened her mouth, meeting Natasha's gaze. She wasn't used to the warmth of strangers.

"She's Jessica, my best friend!" Gwen quickly introduced her.

Jessica felt a wave of warmth in her heart.

"Jessica?" Natasha repeated the name, her smile widening. "Truly two lovely girls. It's a pleasure to meet you both! I hope we have the chance to become friends."

"Me too, Ms. Natasha!"After a bit of small talk, Gwen and Jessica took their leave. They had both developed a very favorable impression of this new teacher and had shared plenty of school gossip with her. Natasha listened intently, the three of them chatting like close girlfriends.

However, once Gwen and Jessica had left the room...

Natasha stood by the window, watching Jessica's retreating back, a strange light flickering in her phoenix-like eyes.

"It seems she doesn't know much about her own roommate..." a murmur, almost too quiet to hear, escaped her lips.

Natasha walked back to her desk and stretched, her devilishly perfect figure fully on display, though there was no one there to appreciate it. She reflected on the intelligence she had gathered through her investigation of Tony Stark.

Just as her intuition had initially suggested, Obadiah Stane's death was far from simple—at least, it wasn't something Tony Stark could have achieved alone. There was someone else at the scene: a mysterious man.

Currently, she only knew his name: Lin Feng.

This was the piece of information she had managed to squeeze out of her military contacts.

"Quite the man of mystery! But the more secrets you have, the more curious I become," Natasha mused, a small smirk playing on her lips as she stood up and left the office.

She intended to pay Jessica a personal "home visit." As for her excuse? What could be more natural for a guidance counselor than checking in on a student's mental health at home?

However, what Natasha never noticed was that the shadows in the corner of the room had rippled. A pair of hollow eyes had been silently watching her from the dark, taking in every single one of her calculations.

Back at home, Lin Feng received the report instantly.

"Natasha? Is this a coincidence, or...?"

Time flew by. Three days later.

For the past few days, the surface of New York had remained calm, but Hell's Kitchen had undergone a seismic shift! The once invincible Uncrowned King, Kingpin, had been assassinated overnight. Yet, the massive Kingpin organization didn't fall into chaos from lack of leadership.

In fact, it was quite the opposite.

Almost immediately, someone took over Kingpin's assets and began a forceful consolidation of all of Hell's Kitchen. Anyone who resisted met with a mysterious assassination that very night. The Italian mob, for instance, had been utterly wiped out. For a time, a reign of terror gripped Hell's Kitchen.

But the most unbelievable part was the identity of the organization's new leader. It was none other than the legendary Daredevil!

As the saying goes: The dragon slayer eventually becomes the dragon.

No one expected that Daredevil would be the one to replace Kingpin as the Uncrowned King of Hell's Kitchen. When S.H.I.E.L.D. received the news, Nick Fury was left utterly stunned. He had originally intended to find an opportunity to recruit Daredevil.

But now? Daredevil had become a mob boss, standing on the complete opposite side of the law.
