Chapter 11 - THE BEGINNING OF MADNESS

Ur-Nammu quietly walks away, leaving Gilgamesh to sob and cry like he has seen a love one die, his shame has finally caught up with him, people looking at him, it became as though he has proved to them that he is guilty of treason.

The eye of the gods is looking and seeing, priestess Nanshe is looking.

then she open her mouth to speak, all alone in her cave, "this is the beginning of grief, sorrowing with a loud cry, it is the wailing of the gods, this is the beginning of madness. Come quickly, messiah come quickly."

Ur-Nammu entered the prison where The Israelite is being held up.

He entered to actually clear his mind, he just wants to flee from the noise outside, but, how about the noise inside?

While he sat there, it became super obvious that he wasn't himself, although he is always sad looking, it just became more obvious, that he has a broken spirit now.

The Israelite and the strange woman looked at him carefully, knowing fully well that he was angry and very unsettled within himself deliberately set out to trouble him.

The Israelite quietly asks Ur-Nammu, "uuh you look so bad Nammu, tell me, were you chaseed by a mad dog?

I heard personally that they are many mad dogs in Babylon, what do you think strange woman?"

The strange woman replied, "oh yes, I even heard someone call their dog a name, do you want to know the name they called it?" "Oh please tell me" The Israelite replied, they called that dog "Naaa mmuuuuu...

Ur-Nammu can no longer ignore them, he must also look for a way to earn his dignity, obviously it has been bruised by this two.

Ur-Nammu quickly said, "do you know, I saw a dog in a cage? I saw two dogs in a cage actually, when they saw me pass by they cried like little children because they wanted freedom, do you know the difference between me and that dog?"

The Israelite interrupted, "you both have different names?"

Ur-Nammu replied, "No, I am free but the dog is caged"

The Israelite began laughing, then he turned to the strange woman and said, "have you ever cried to be free?

The strange woman replied "I don't think so"

"Neither have I, this old Nammu is not feeling well and he has refused to tell us what is wrong with him.

I believe that dog that was Named Nammu is extremely old and weak.

Days quickly went by, the king Sargon is fully recovered, although he is deeply troubled, his love for Gilgamesh Sakkanakku will not let him judge him, however he has been ignoring him and hasn't seen him since.

rumors said, "he has gone mad" King Sargon did not believe it. He was too scared to approach judging without proper knowledge, he is afraid of Making thesame mistake again.

He waited at night and finds his way into Priestess Nanshe's cave, it is not outside the city but within it.

As he entered, she was sitting down beside a camp fire, with an extra sit by her side, without looking to see who it was, she had already seen him.

"Oh King Sargon" Priestess Nanshe calls out, why have you come to disturb me, did you not see that this hour is late?

King Sargon responds in great desperation, "please, god's eye, tell me, I am greatly disturbed, I must judge a man that I truly love, and I do not know what to do, I am afraid I will make a wrong judgement again.

Priestess Nanshe replied, "is it now you stab yourself for a good judgement?

your own daughter did not find such love, kingship is a burden, this is why you will die by the hand of the one you love so much, but before your death, you will be known fully as an usurper."

King Sargon in outmost confusion desperately request, "please tell me, is it Gilgamesh that you speak of?

How then should I judge him?

"Please leave, I have nothing to tell you anymore " Priestess Nanshe replied.

King Sargon went away even more sad, depressed and confuse than he has ever been, he is extremely restless, more questions has fallen upon.

He entered his champer and went straight to his bedroom and rested his head, making the guards to chase him because he was disguised when he went out, they fled from him after realizing he was their king.

King Sargon lays on his bed and quietly waits for daylight to come.

Day light has slowly arrived, it is on like any other, the sunlight casted at small portion on the kings bed was seemingly red.

king Sargon wakes up in his distress and went straight to the kings hall ordering that Gilgamesh Sakkanakku be brought to him.

A few soldiers went out in search of him and finds him drinking himself to stupor, they rushed at him, grabbing him, one on each side.

They are quickly inside the king's hall, and every other official was inside.

The king spoke, "what should I do with him?"

Some of the ranking officials began to murmur within themselves, consuming the patience of king Sargon.

King Sargon shouted, "I said what should I do with him!!?"

Hammurabi, Sakkanakku over the city of Arthens, takes the floor, "my king, please, we have no proper proof that Gilgamesh Sakkanakku tried to kill you, in my humble suggestion, I will ask that you spare him."

Just after he is done speaking, Kurigalzu, Sakkanakku over Florence open his mouth to speak, "My king I do feel thesame way with Hammurabi Sakkanakku."

King Sargon quietly observing the room, replied, "where's Aplahanda?"

"I am here my king" Aplahanda Sakkanakku responding from admits the crowded officials in the kings hall.

"Tell me, what should I do?" King Sargon asks.

Everyone's expectation is high, knowing his history with Gilgamesh.

Aplahanda Sakkanakku said, "I...feel thesame way with, Hammurabi Sakkanakku and Kurigalzu Sakkanakku"

King Sargon said, "So be it, prepare the execution, I will have the head of Gilgamesh Sakkanakku."
