🌹 THE ROSEGLID INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Episode 3 — "Loyalty Test"
At
Roseglid International High School
the roses looked soft.
But the people?
Absolutely not.
The classroom was louder than usual, but one thing was missing.
Ash.
Her seat beside
Damien Alexander Sinclair
was empty.
And somehow… that annoyed him more than it should.
Kai leaned back, glancing at the door. "Your favorite problem didn't show up today."
Damien didn't even look up. "She's not my problem."
Blake grinned. "You sure? You look bored without her."
"I look bored because I am bored."
Noah, typing away, muttered, "Statistically inaccurate. Your attention rate dropped by 42%."
Damien shot him a look. "Stop tracking me."
Noah didn't even blink. "Then stop being predictable."
A few laughs broke out.
Damien leaned back, eyes cold again.
"After class," he said quietly, "stay."
Later, the classroom emptied.
Only the Heartthrob Boys remained.
Doors shut.
Silence settled.
Damien stood in front of them, hands in pockets, expression unreadable.
"She embarrassed me," he said simply.
Jett raised a brow. "You got roasted. Happens."
Damien's gaze snapped to him.
"Not to me."
Silence.
There it was.
Ego. Sharp. Unshaken.
Kai crossed his arms. "So what's the plan?"
Damien's lips curved slightly.
"We test her."
Blake leaned forward. "Test?"
"Loyalty," Damien said. "Patience. Weak points."
Noah finally looked up.
"And then?"
Damien's voice dropped.
"We break her."
The room went quiet.
Not shocked.
Interested.
Rowan spoke calmly, "So we get close?"
Damien nodded once.
"Find out everything. What she hides. What she cares about."
"And when she trusts us…" Blake finished.
Damien's eyes darkened.
"We make her regret ever walking into this class."
Noah watched him for a second longer than the others.
Then said softly—
"…this feels personal."
Damien didn't reply.
Which was answer enough.
Meanwhile—
At the school entrance,
Ashylene Rae Valyne
walked in late, completely unbothered.
"Missed me?" she muttered to no one.
She walked into class mid-lecture.
The teacher froze.
"ASHYLENE—"
"Relax," Ash said, walking to her seat, "I brought my presence. That's enough."
The class laughed.
She dropped into her seat.
Looked beside her.
Empty.
She blinked once.
"…wow. Statue skipped school? Character development."
From the back, Kai smirked. "He was here."
Ash turned slightly.
"Then he escaped? Makes sense."
Break time hit.
Cafeteria buzzed like a battlefield with food trays.
Ash walked in, grabbing a drink, scanning for a place to sit.
That's when she saw her.
Standing like she owned the entire room—
Vanessa Laurent.
Perfect hair. Perfect posture. Perfect fake smile.
Vanessa's eyes locked onto Ash instantly.
Target acquired.
She walked forward, slow, confident.
Students around them started whispering.
Phones slowly came out.
Vanessa stopped right in front of Ash.
Looked her up and down.
"Oh," she said softly, "you're the new girl."
Ash took a sip of her drink.
"And you're the old problem?"
A few gasps.
Vanessa's smile tightened.
"I've heard about you."
"Then your sources need better hobbies."
Vanessa tilted her head.
"Girls like you don't last long here."
Ash nodded thoughtfully.
"Girls like you talk too much."
A pause.
Then—
Vanessa "accidentally" tipped her glass.
Cucumber juice spilled straight onto Ash's uniform.
A collective "OHHH—" filled the cafeteria.
Vanessa covered her mouth.
"Oops," she said sweetly. "Mistakes happen."
Silence.
Ash looked down at her shirt.
Then back at Vanessa.
Then—calmly—
She picked up Vanessa's drink.
Took a sip.
Paused.
"Needs salt," she said.
And in one smooth motion—
She dumped the drink right back onto Vanessa.
Chaos.
Students stood up. Phones fully out now.
Vanessa gasped, stepping back.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU—"
Ash didn't let her finish.
She grabbed her tray—
and smacked it across Vanessa's arm, pushing her back.
Not wild.
Not messy.
Controlled.
Sharp.
Vanessa stumbled.
Shock all over her face.
Ash stepped closer, voice low.
"Don't start something you can't finish."
Vanessa raised her hand—
Ash caught it mid-air.
And slapped the tray lightly against her shoulder again.
"Lesson one," Ash said calmly, "I don't do 'oops'."
Cafeteria exploded.
Students shouting. Recording. Chaos everywhere.
Vanessa stood there, stunned, humiliated.
Ash stepped back, adjusting her bag.
Like nothing happened.
At that exact moment—
The doors opened.
And the Heartthrob Boys walked in.
Led by
Damien Alexander Sinclair.
They stopped.
Taking in the scene.
Vanessa. Messed up.
Ash. Calm.
Phones everywhere.
Blake blinked. "We're late."
Kai smirked. "She already started war."
Damien's gaze locked onto Ash.
Something flickered in his eyes.
Not anger.
Not fully.
Something else.
Ash noticed them.
Raised a brow.
"Wow," she said, "your timing sucks."
Jett laughed under his breath.
Noah walked forward quietly, standing beside Ash.
"You okay?" he asked.
Ash glanced at him.
"…you asking emotionally or strategically?"
Noah shrugged.
"Both."
She smirked slightly.
"I'm fine."
That was it.
Just like that—
something shifted.
Noah stayed beside her.
Not forced.
Natural.
Damien watched that.
Closely.
Too closely.
His jaw tightened.
"Let's go," he said coldly to the boys.
Blake frowned. "We're not sitting?"
Damien turned away.
"No."
And just like that—
they walked past.
Leaving Ash standing there.
Ash watched them go.
Then looked at Noah.
"…your friend group is weird."
Noah replied calmly, "You haven't seen the full version yet."
She smirked.
"Good. I like surprises."
Back in the corridor later—
videos were already spreading.
Students whispering.
"Did you see that?"
"She literally flipped it—"
"Vanessa got embarrassed—"
Vanessa stood in the restroom, staring at her reflection.
Eyes burning.
"…you're done," she whispered.
Meanwhile—
Damien stood alone near the staircase.
Phone in hand.
Watching the video.
Ash.
Fearless.
Unbothered.
Untouchable.
His grip tightened.
"…interesting," he muttered.
But deep down—
for the first time—
his plan didn't feel like just revenge anymore.
It felt like a challenge.
